He's just an amazing character. Back when he killed Abraham and Glenn, he was obviously a horrible person. Back then I didn't love him as a person at all. I hated him, but still loved him as a character because he's an amazing character and was an amazing villain.

Everyone like Rick's group has blood on their hands, in this world there is no good guy or bad guy just survivors, betrayals, and lots of other things. So you can't say that some groups like Rick, are good people, they have blood on their hands killing people like Negan and other groups. They are survivors.
I understood why, because they put a lot of scene with negan to learn to know him, how he works, and we see that negan is a good guy because for example Carl or other survivors of Rick's group didn't respect the contract with negan, it's not for that reason that negan hurt them, moreover he's really cool as a character and he's got a lot of sense of humor and we can see that he has feelings towards Judith, that he's protecting her, that he wants to make up for it
I haven't watched the show, I don't know why he killed those guys but that scene when the eye popped out of that dude when it was hit in the skull made me throw up..lol...
