  • Swarovski’s ATC/STC Spotting Scopes deliver outstanding optical quality in a compact package. The ATC/STC Spotting Scopes weigh in at just over 2 pounds, and have roughly the same length as a standard sheet of paper. The lightweight, compact design of the ATC/STC Spotting Scopes allows them to easily be stowed in a backpack or carry-on bag, and are perfect for applications where minimal size and weight are essential such as backcountry hunts. Both the ATC and STC are equipped with a removable half shell on the bottom attached via tripod threading. This allows them to be used in your hand or firm surface without interfering with the focusing wheel (ATC) or zoom wheel (STC), and provides stable observation even without the use of a tripod. Despite their small size, the ATC and STC delivers an unmatched level of clarity and image quality thanks to the exclusive SWAROVISION technology. Innovative lens coatings yield an impressive light transmission of 88%, as well as excellent color rendering. The ATC and STC also feature field flattener lenses to provide a nearly flat image free of distortion from edge to edge, and reveal sharp contours with flawless detail.

Big spotters are bulky so can absolutely see the niche they’re targeting, especially if the performance isn’t too far off say 85mm.

It the glass quality the same as the atx/stx with the 65mm?

Yes, maybe better considering they’re always upgrading coatings etc but I’d bet wouldn’t be perceived by anyone other than experts.

From what I've studied, not detachable lens; one piece. Also not covered is that (1) the cover for the eyepiece does fit into the cover for the objective eyepiece and (2) there is a optional tree screw that thumb tightens into the tripod mount on one end and an available tree, fence or post temporary base. DO NOT know the specs on the attached eyepiece however, the Field of View for is 186-102' at 1,000 yards; light transmission is 88.

OK sorry Mr. Marketer but the kowa prominar 55s absolutely cover this segment of the market too. Equally light weight and maybe better quality. These might be good but get serious kowas are equally awesome or ever better than swaros
