    binoviewer: you can use any scope that takes 1.25" astro eyepieces, and mount a pair of binoviewers to it. Saves a lot.

    if money was not an factor, would you rather have the 65mm and 95mm objectives, or would you just have the one 85mm objective?
    I have the stx eye piece with plans to get the btx in the future. I only have the 65mm objective and want a bigger objective but love how light the 65mm is. wondering if the 95mm is that much better/brighter than the 85mm that it would be worth it to buy the 95mm and keep my 65mm. or would be having just the 85mm be sufficient. thanks Cody

    Hello! Please tell me how the image quality of this device? The thing is, I need a good high-magnification binocular for bird watching . Please tell me that it would be better Swarovski BTX or binoculars Kowa Prominar 32x82 Highlander? Thanks!

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  4 года назад

      I believe if you compare the BTX/85mm with the 32x82 Highlanders(Flourites lens) you will find that the clarity and resolution of these two pieces are incredibly similar. I have used both extensively with great success. I will say that the biggest difference is going to be in their weight. The BTX is lighter by 7.5 pounds and can also be used with a lighter tripod and head. If you are packing these around there is no optical justification to use the heavier Highlanders. If they are going to be used on a back porch or observation deck I would say the Highlanders with a heavy tripod would be rock solid and would be less affected by the winds and vibration. If I can help you with either of these pieces of optics please feel free to reach out! optics@gohunt.com

      goHUNT But still, where will the picture quality be better ?At BTX, the picture will be darker? And how in comparison these two devices with Docter Aspectem? If you choose something from all this , regardless of the weight of the device, what would you advise to buy?

    any word on Swarovski making a Straight BTX? would jump all over that if they did. thanks Cody

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  5 лет назад

      This is a common question. I do not believe or have any indication that this will ever happen. The BTX was and is a difficult product to make and have heard no plans to make it straight.

  • @davidkozelsky
    @davidkozelsky 4 года назад

    Is it a fixed magnification in combination with btx?

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  4 года назад +1

      The BTX when coupled with the 65/85mm it is 30X. When matched with the 95mm it is 35X. Remember, when glassing with both eyes open you see more detail. We have always said "glassing with both eyes at 30-35x is like looking through a 40-45x spotter"! Let us know if you have more questions.

      I have used this exact model, amazing, and very durable, the eye strain is very minimal for me at least, lots of glassing in Nevada, twothumbs, the aiming device is outta simply amazing,,worth the price.

    Cody: do you know if other companies, such as Vortex or Leupold, are interested in bringing a similar product to market at a more affordable price point?

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  5 лет назад +2

      Probably not. This product has been attempted on different levels of glass by other manufacturers overseas. I am not saying it could not or should not be attempted. But it takes the very best in engineering and glass to overcome the obstacles it takes to "split" an image and go through separate eyepieces, through your eyes than to have your brain fuse the 2 images. Essentially, the scope is trying to duplicate bioptic vision. Bioptic is how humans see.

    • @GOHUNT

      @Joshua Sanford First off this is not a paid video by Swarovski. We sell lots of different optic brands. We are passionate hunters and only sell what we use and trust in the office. Some of the people in the office only use Vortex or Leupold, another person uses Zeiss, one guy loves Leica and then there are some that love Swarovski. We sell and use a ton of different brands and continue to search out unique products/brands that we want to add.
      Also, your comment about Swaro being dumb to create a system that is heavy and bulky... that couldn't be further from the truth. Optics are everything on a hunt! You can't hunt what you can't find. So a lot of people search out a glassing system that works best for them, and certain terrain calls for big optics. We know a lot of people that will pack a BTX system deep in the backcountry and just split the weight between their friend. Heavy glass is worth it when you are sitting around looking for that buck or bull of a lifetime in thick terrain.
      Hope you had a great weekend!

      @@GOHUNT Cody...take a look at a small telescope called Teleview. They make a product similar to the BTX call their BinoView. It was outa my price range and I'm not sure telescopes can stand in for spotters. Interested to know what you think. I just sunk a lot of money into Leica's big spotter but it isnt a BTX. If I managed to sell the Leica and a Leopold I'd sure snatch up the BTX.
      Thanks.

    Awesome glassing piece. Would love to have but.......cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching$$$. This is a purchase of a lifetime item passed down to generations. With products from #vortexoptics and #leupoldoptics I’d save my money with these companies providing comparable items with lifetime warranties. Plus, it’s just cost! High-end hunter. I can spend my money on other items to glass. This item is for producers and film crews that need a tax write off. Great video and thanks for making.
