- After having such a great time making my musical nutcrackers, I've decided to make 5 more. But this time around they're the real traditional type.

I think you’re the only one to give verbal instructions. I’ve watched 7 videos and most just make a nutcracker. Thank you for explanations. ✌🏻👍🏻
My videos have always explanations, or to be more exact; how I did it. I don't like videos with out explanations so on all my videos I always say what I'm doing and why.
Nothing is better than a handmade gift. Very personal.
Wonderful! These are heirlooms that can stay in the family for generations. The best kind of gifts.
These nutcrackers are very very nice!!! So much talent and the looks of surprise on the loved ones faces are wonderful. Thanks for the videos.
It is incredible how something so simple looking at a glance is actually quite laborious. And you did a fine job on them. I admire your patience and skill.
Even though I don't like the look of the nutcrackers (creepy) you made them beautifully. Congratulations
What creepy no my daughter finds them cute :))
Awesome job, they turned out wonderful 🍁
they look great!!! congrats!!
Fun project and lots of little details!
Very nice video, thank you.
Awesome
Nice gift idea. I enjoy your videos partially because they include the unvarnished truth of what happens in the shop but in this one I saw something I can't help but let you now about. At 3:42 what you are cutting the piece off the lathe you leaned over the spinning piece. Your t-shirt was really close to getting caught in the chuck. Please used your left hand to hold the saw and support the piece with your right. It feels unnatural at first but it's better than having your arm re-attached.
Never noticed this, thank you. I'll be more careful in the future.
Nice.

Qué belleza
First? Okay, got it out of my system. These seem like a very good Christmas present, maybe better if you had thicker material to start with. I can see this has a lot of promise from the music players to lights and more.
THEY LAST FOR EVERY I HAVE 353 NUTCRACKERS
Hello, Alain! Nice work on the nutcrackers. I'm sure they'll be cherished for years to come. One unrelated question though, how do you heat your shop? Heating is a big expense in the north (like here in Finland) and I was just wondering how do you handle it.
With electric force air heater, almost at the ceiling. In one of my shop build video I show the heaters. I put 2, but actually I only uses 1. It's a 5000Watt heater.
OK here the electricity is pretty cheap but still to keep the shop at 20°C in winter must add a lot to my utility bill, I never checked just pay... But with almost 70% of the front of the shop in windows and facing south, on sunny days the heater almost never start, but on snowy days that's another story. Lucky that I've insulate the shop better than my house...
@@LgosseuxDbois-TheWoodpecker Thanks a lot for the reply! I figured it must be something electric. The problem I see is the dust getting in to it. I got one of those minisplit heat pumps for my shop and it works great as long as I keep it really clean.
I blow air inside them once a year in fall, and surprisingly I don't get much dust out. I never had any problem. I don't like working in the cold, if I want to be cold and have fun I jump on my snowmobile :)
