I know they will never tour in my country (France), but luckily we have all those wonderful videos on you tube, allowing us to know that real players are still out there, without any ChatGPT generated solos but their true soul and skills !
Pete thorn is one of the greatest guitarists in my 60yrs,everything is so cleanly played. this dude has a genuine gift of sharing his talent with everyone. I've not seen many in my life that can fully customize a narration. a true asset to the music world.
This guy has it all, melody, timing, taste and unmatched creative phrasing. He never makes mistakes! Is he an alien? The great tragedy for me is that he is not a rock star as you would find back in the 1970s! Instead he is a youtube product salesman and tours with cover bands! I'm sure if he was in the right band, before youtube took over, he would've been involved in the creation of some classic songs. I mean, just listen to the hooks in the above tune. It's crying out for a great singer/lyricist to complete it! Pete is a genius of electric guitar. I just wish he'd make albums instead of promoting gear.

Discovered him the other night sitting 10 feet in front of him supporting Five for Fighting at Musikfest cafe in Bethlehem, Pa. . Master of his craft and a genius guitar player. I'm 63 and told my wife I got a man crush on this dude. One of the best I've ever heard.
The only problem with hearing Pete Thorn play is that he makes me want to either use my guitars for firewood or go lock myself in a room and practice for 5 years. And I cannot decide which.

As a long time instrumentalist guitarist myself and even someone who was inspired and studied a bit with Dave Weiner of the Steve Van band, I find Pete a truly inspirational guitarist. Wish I could sit down with him and jam-talk. Dude is pure technical, love and feel.

he's a hired gun and tours around with bands. Who cares about anyone being a "Rock Star"? He's down to earth. Rock stars are all about their ego.

I give five stars ++. Very smooth, some nice discreet parts with highlights on the top. I only wish that I had seen this video sooner.
