Here's all of the presidents' pets song. I excluded working animals like horses and livestock (sheep, cattle). I tried to make sure I had the correct breed of dog and cat throughout, based on information in Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Orion! I read that Grits was given to his daughter ‘but was quickly returned after snapping at several White House visitors’. Because Amy only had it for a very short time (a few days, perhaps), I excluded it as a pet.

Glitch: JQA, Van Buren, and Harrison’s “empty houses” don’t have spider webs, but the rest of the pet-less presidents have.

President Buchanan had Eagle? THE BALD EAGLE!? that might be the best part of his President. Also didn't knew that President Coolidge had Lion's cubs, that's as Badass as President Teddy Roosevelt, which's unexpected from Frugal and Silent guy like President Coolidge.

Here are the pets that got left out and the names and corrected mistakes.
George Washington had his two horses Nelson and Blueskin during the Revolutionary War (but I think they got left out cause that was before presidency), he also had a donkey name Royal Gift, and five stallions their names were Samson, Steady, Leonidas, Traveler, and Magnolia
John Adams had two horses name Cleopatra and Caesar
Thomas Jefferson had 2 grizzly bear cubs, a horse name Caractacus, and 40 sheep
James Monroe also had sheepdogs
John Quincy Adams had silkworms that were spun by Louisa and that he had a pet alligator for 2 months but due to not having good records its debating if its true or myth
Andrew Jackson also had 5 horses named Bolivia, Emily, Lady Nashville, Sam Patch, and Truxton and fighting cocks
Martin Van Buren had 2 tiger cubs but was forced by the congress to donate them to the zoo
William Harrison did have pets, he had a Durham cow named Sukey and a goat
John Tyler also had a horse name The General
Zachary Taylor had a horse name Old Whitey and a pony name Apollo
Millard Fillmore had two ponies name Mason and Dixon
Abraham Lincoln also had 2 goats name Nanny and Nanko, a turkey name Jack who was going to be Thanksgiving dinner but his son Tad was like no way, and 2 horses including Old Bob who attended the president's funeral along with Fido
Andrew Johnson didn't have pets but he had white mice living in his bedroom and he fed them which probably drove Eliza up the wall

Here are the names of Theodore Roosevelt's pets which will not take a week to write down. The names of his guinea pigs are Admiral Dewey, Bishop Doane, Dr. Johnson, Father O'Grady, and Fighting Bob Evans. The names of his ponies were Fedelity and Algonquin who was the Calico and his son Archie's favorite pet. Baron Spreckle was the hen, Fierce was the one-legged rooster, Maude was the pig, Eli Yale was the macaw, Bill was the hyena, Josiah or Josh was the badger, there was a rat name Johnathan and the other was Johnathan Edwards the bear, his rabbit is Peter, Emily Spinach was his daughter Alice's garter snake, and no name for the barn owl and lion.
Woodrow Wilson also had a flock of sheep which were led by Old Ike the ram
Here is the full list of Calvin Coolidge's pets. Balcky and Tiger were his cats, Ebeneezer was the donkey, Enoch was the goose, Bruno was the black bear, Smoky was the bobcat, the names of the 2 lion cubs were Tax Reduction and Budget Bureau, Billy was the hippo, he had a wallaby, a duiker, and 13 Perkins ducklings, and Rebecca was the raccoon who was intended to become Thanksgiving dinner but lucky that Calvin had no appetite for raccoon and she became a member of the family, and there was another raccoon name Reuben who was acquired to be Rebecca's mate but he made a run for it to escape the crowd.
Herbert Hoover had a neighbor, a wild opossum he called Billy who moved into Rebecca's tree house
Harry S. Truman also had another dog named Feller who was a Cocker Spaniel

Ha! Thanks! As far as the rats are concerned, a pet is a domesticated (tame, familiar with humans) animal, ‘a domesticated animal kept for pleasure rather than utility’, according to the dictionary. Wild rats, mice, sheep, and horses wouldn’t be considered pets

I’ve tried to ‘brand’ my videos with consistent-looking thumbnails, but wondered if a different, more contemporary look would be more attractive to the first-time viewer. I hired someone to make me a thumbnail and am ‘test-marketing’ it for a week to see if any numbers change.
