For this coming Presidents day, and to satisfy a request, here are nine unusual happenings with eight of our presidents. I was going to do 12 facts, but figured three-and-a-half minutes (if not less) was kind of a sweet spot for songs. Kindly bear with my mediocre attempts at humor for some of these...(denture/indentured, echo-friendly/eco-friendly, etc). I just felt like not being totally serious for this one. I hope you enjoy it!

Lyrics:
We’ve been told that Washington had false teeth made of wood
Actually, some were made from the teeth of slaves that were still good
Now, we don’t know how they were obtained, but there’s one thing I heard
That they didn’t come from the servants because they were indentured
In the 1800s, little was known of the Earth’s geology
‘Was the planet hollow?’, questioned President Adams (John Quincy)
He signed off on an expedition for explorers to finally see
But, was cancelled so they never saw if the core was echo-friendly
Throughout his life, John Quincy Adams kept a diary
14,000 pages written, his whole life’s history
When he was 12, he started, and finished at 81
51 volumes, want to read? Better start when you’re very young
Chorus
The Presidents, we know their lives and how they’d come so far
It’s fun to look behind the scenes and see how they really are
James Garfield was a brilliant man, from this, you’ll surely see
His left hand could write Greek, his right, Latin, simultaneously
Before politics, he taught both at Williams College, and advised
As Prez, if he finished in half the time, I wouldn’t be surprised
Arthur wanted to redecorate the White House to his taste
So, to raise funds, had a yard sale, two dozen carts of stuff, he placed
They included Lincoln’s pants and Quincy Adam’s hat, we’re told
He cleared the halls and painted the walls, thanks to history he sold
Poker was the game that Harding felt compelled to play
A ‘high roller’, his gambling lucrative till one day
He bet the White House china on a hand of cards, and lost
Don’t know what they ate on after that, but I bet he covered the cost
Chorus
The Presidents, we know their lives and how they’d come so far
It’s fun to look behind the scenes and see how they really are
McKinley always wore a red carnation to bring him luck
While at an expo, a little girl smiled at him, and he was struck
He removed the flower and gave it to the child, who was elated
Moments later, two shots rang out, he was assassinated
Harry Truman loved to bowl, but seldom, could he play
Till a bowling alley was installed on his 63rd birthday
In the basement of the White House, he could play whenever he liked
So, on the alley or with trade unions, there’d inevitably be a strike
In the mid-50s, Reagan’s movie career was starting to slip
So he left LA for Vegas, stand-up comedy on the Strip
He was popular, and honed his skill in communication
Which led him to politics, so the stage set the stage for him to run

This whole song could have been about facts about John Quincy Adams he is a fascinating guy with a whole lot of interesting facts
Ha! He was an interesting fellow, AMOG!
His name is Amogus.
Hello Cenapsis! Happy Presidents day! The other day i had a presidents party and played you Presidents Pets song! And everyone loved it!! Thank you for making these vids! God Bless and have a good day! 🎉
Happy Presidents Day! Thanks for including me at the party! And, thanks for the good word!
1:00 JQA died at 80, not 81. He died before his birthday.
John Quincy Adams actually died at 80
You’re right, ABC…small error there for the rhyme
I never knew any of these facts besides 1 and I am a huge history buff, keep going everyone loves good job 👍
Thanks very much, sindroydia!
Nice song
Thanks, JJ!
Former President jimmy carter enters hospice care at 98 charity says
Hi Cody! Thanks
In the 1912 election, the reason the Roosevelt ticket was called the Bull Moose ticket was because his campaign slogan was "Strong as a bull moose"!
Great President Video
Thanks, Poppop!
YOU made this the Best on your Channel
You misspelled channel as “chenel”
Thanks, Morey!
Wow! Thanks very much, Abi!

THIS IS SO AMAZING AND ACCURATE!
Thanks so much, Neptune!
Maybe McKinley shouldn't have the girl his flower after all
Kept the flower. Pat the head. Maybe stayed alive.
You didn't include Lyndon B. Johnson's very very weird facts about him... You know... His Jumbo... 😅😅😅
Well, Doctor, the majority of my followers (based on an informal community poll) are between 7 and 19 years old. Not appropriate topics, I though
@@Cenapsis I completely understand, I just kind of find it funny
finally someone talks about his…
Fact about McKinley is very sad:-(
True. Thanks for the comment, Bolivia
I feel bad for McKinley when he was assasinated
True.
Please make a Part 2 of this song! Include something about Grover Cleveland, he’s my favorite president!
Suggestion: Jackson and TR both died with bullets in their body from attempted murders. (Teddy was shot while campaigning, but Jackson was shot in a duel.)
Thanks for your request, Dillondebruv! I’ll put it on my list!
John Quincy Adams died at 80
This one isn't weird but a coincidence
Both 20th and 40th presidents started or 19th and 39th ended with a year ending with a 79 and 80
Rutherford Hayes getting off the Office (1879) being replaced by James Garfield (1880)
Jimmy Carter getting off the Office (1979) being replaced by Ronald Reagan (1980)
Another one about this is that the presidential order's number ends with a 9 and 0 when they left or started the White House
Interesting! Thanks!
awesome
Thanks, Darrell!
You respond to every comment even from videos that were made months ago that hard work!
Hi Pinky! Just showing my appreciation for the time people take to write!
If Mr Beat didn't release a video about some of these facts i wouldn't of known any
Cool!
Cool! I didn't know a lot of these!
Great! Hope it was fun, Aurora!
1:48 Adams' not Adam's.
@Cenapsis Where did you learn that Washington had slave teeth? I researched it further and found that he may have had slave teeth, but there isn’t that much supporting evidence.
Hi Dillondebruv! One of my sources was Wikipedia, which stated, '...and often would have been made of teeth extracted from enslaved people, as well as other materials such as hippopotamus ivory, brass and gold.'
@@Cenapsis I found that exact article that you are referring to. However, that statement was about dentures in general. Later in the article it mentioned that there is no hard evidence that Washington had slave teeth.
Hi! I looked at the denture mechanism that I used on the thumbnail, and saw some of the teeth had the typical root structure. True, one cannot determine whether they were from slaves or not, but they appeared to me to be teeth
great work ! what is next song of karaoke version and can you do the china Qing emperors history?
Hi An! Thanks! The next series of karaoke versions will likely be presidential favorite foods, consorts and PMs…I plan to do monarchs and leaders of several countries, including China by mid-year. Thanks for the suggestion!
Nice song

Very cool I didnt even know these so good also please pray my dad wins elections
Thanks Ali!
Very fascinating!
Thanks very much!
Can you make a song of what the vice presidents died of? (Exclude the living VPs/former VPs) and then each VP should have themself and then their COD (cause of death) on the left side and then their grave on the right side (this may take research for the VPs that have unidentified death causes)
Hi Vanessa! I’ll look into this and put it on my list for a possible future song! Thanks!
Hello can you make an ABC's about world history
It’s on my list!
You can make the life of the
Usa President song but in karaoke version
Hi Christian! Here it is : The Presidents Song - Karaoke Version
ruclips.net/video/FAVXp6V5uWY/видео.html
It dosent contain all presidents but still a good song
Thanks!
McKinley was actually president before Harding
Cool
Thanks!
I’m right handed
Cool, Matt!
With JQA you said something wrong it was impossible for him to finish his diary at age 81 because he died at age 80
Thanks, Diny!
cenapsis, john adams jr. died at age 80, so that means HIS SPIRIT WRITED MORE STUFF? (sorry i know you wanna rhyme)
Ha! Hi Declan! Yeahhh…I’ll miss a detail here and there by accident, but I usually fix them for the Spotify releases! Thanks!
Will the next newsletter also be audio?
Hi Mr. Beat Fan! Which do you prefer…written or audio?
@@Cenapsis I like the audio.
@Cenapsis Did Washington have slave teeth? I always thought he had hippopotamus teeth and walrus tusks for dentures.
Hi Dillondebruv! According to my research, his dentures were constructed by dentists of the day, using carved hippopotamus ivory and teeth collected from slaves (likely who had teeth trouble and had the pulled for relief). Not sure about walrus tusk, though!
@@Cenapsis I probably remembered it wrong. Also, McKinley and Harding are switched if this follows chronological order.
You could just make a whole video of funny facts about John Quincy Adam’s 😂
Good idea, Golo!
Will you make a part two of this song someday?
Not sure!
Me, Dean Falcon. The title of the song you wrote and sang meant to say cool, not weird. But all in all, I really love this song, this song should be the next masterpiece 'cause this song is awesome.
👍😀👍❤❤👍😀👍
Yeahhhh...I changed it to 'weird' from 'cool' to see if it would tempt more people to watch it. And, thanks for the wonderful words...so glad you liked it!
@@Cenapsis Okay, that makes sense 'cause I usually thought that in my opinion, the facts of some of the Presidents are really cool. I really love the cool facts about the Presidents and I think it's not weird at all, I 100% love it so very much.
John Quincy Adan’s was the son of John Adams
That’s right!
Why did you choose to not include the other presidents?
Hi, Orion! Out of about 55 facts in my source material, I thought many were just not that interesting, or even difficult to write four lines about. Also, if I did a fact on every president, the song would be about 18 minutes long!
Other crazy facts:
-Andrew Jackson: He had a pet parrot that had foul language. The parrot's negative language got so unnescesary that it had to be removed from the owner's funeral service.
-William Howard Taft: He got stuck in a bathtub that he got help from several assistants.
-Dwight D. Eisenhower: He painted approximately 260 paintings.
-George H.W. Bush: He vomited on the leader of Japan during a dinner he was invited to.
-Bill Clinton: He has a cat named Socks. The cat got so popular that Clinton made a website and the cat was featured in a video game.
-George W. Bush: During the G8 Summit, he gave a backrub to former leader of Germany, Angela Merkel.
He also has a hard time pronouncing words such as "nuclear".
-Donald Trump: His star in Hollywood was vandalized many times. One example was that it had a spray paint drawing of a swastika.
Joe Biden: In the Oval Office, he had a button. If pressed, he would be given an ice cream with his favorite flavour.
Thanks, Matthew, for these interesting factoids!
That is so crazy thinking that he wrote for 69 years
He should have had a side business importing ink!

So Actually Washington Didn't Had Teeth?
Hi! Thanks for your question! Washington had teeth, but they were quite bad and unsightly. His last real tooth was lost two years before he died, which is why he wore this spring-loaded set of teeth (and ivory) through much of his life
how did JQA write 14,000 pages in his diary
Hi Cully! Well, if John wrote a page everyday starting at 10 years old, he would have 14,000 pages done before he was 50!
@@Cenapsis OMG
JQA died at 79, how would he write till 81?
@Martin Molina 79. His birthday hadn't come yet.
Thanks

Thanks!

Who is your favorite president
Hi Wanda!
That’s a tough question. Being as objective as I can, I would say Ronald Reagan, for many reasons
@@Cenapsis Good choice!
i know you're not questioning to me but mine's Bill Clinton
It’s actually a bit disgusting that Washington’s theeth were made of old slaves theeth
Yeahhh…wish I could go back in time and bring a young Washington a toothbrush!
Speaking of teeth have u ever had braces?
No, Vitamin. Mine were pretty straight, though not perfect!
