If I''m not mistaken , there is small group of people that speak Portuguese , mostly the elders & older generation. There’s a Portuguese settlement in Malacca where they still maintain a certain level of Portuguese heritage and fly Portuguese flags at their houses. But the few Portuguese I’ve met in Europe who are aware of that settlement said the people there spoke a version of ancient Portuguese that have not been developed for 600 years.
