This is the hotel I can never forget. Stunning, old and new architecture in a perfect harmony. The glass courtyard feels like being connected to a beautiful place you don't want to leave.....
I can't put into words how beautiful the interior design is at the Conservatorium hotel. Just wow. I now have on my bucket list a mimosa at the restaurant. Thanks, LTE. 😁
CONSERVATORIUM ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! SO MUCH CHARACTER IN EVERY SQUARE INCH! THE SUITES BATHTUB LOFT BEDROOM VIEWS & SPA YES PLEASE & THANK YOU!! 😊 I ALSO LOVE ❤️ HOW YOU SWITCHED THE MUSIC TO COMPLIMENT EACH SETTING! THE TAIKO RESTAURANT BEAUTIFUL FOOD PRESENTATION 😋 👌 ❤️
This urban design based on straight lines, reflections & transparency is really wonderful & timeless. Made me think of Hitchcock's North by Northwest opening credits
My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights at the last *queens* day celebration in 2013. Beautiful property! One particular thing I remember is the HUUUUUUUUGE bathroom in our room. More a walk *through* shower than a walk *in* one 😊
Great to be back in Europe again! Eggs bene in Amsterdam! Loved the hotel--wonderful restoration. Your suite was very nice--the windows were quite impressive. The background music selections were spot on. The violin chandelier was awesome! Oh, and the restaurants were fabulous too. I could go on, but it's time for bed. Wish I was at the Conservatorium tonight!
I was enjoying myself a lot with the view of this luxurious elegant Hotel presented as usual in each of your videos through your exquisite skill capturing detail. When all of a sudden at the end of the video my eyes almost freaked out to the vision of last food dish poor presentation with expiry date herbs at its top. What an unexpected contrast!.
What a video! Thank you for this, LTE! And my gosh what a beautiful hotel! The design aesthetic used here is 110% my jam and it is gorgeous! Definitely have to try and snag a room here the next time I vacation in Amsterdam. :)
Gorgeous! And great to see the colourful clothes by People of the Labyrinths begin sold there (Van Baerle shopping center in the hotel), I think it's the only shop they still have. There used to be one in Antwerp too.
The main lobby is my favourite part, I remember once rescuing a hostage and fleeing to the car park under a barrage of gunfire only to find I forgot to reload my Kastov
Lovely Holland..i love the lobby area and i like the waterfront outside..the dining area i like the color scheme, i don't like the guest room hallway..a little scary, the room itself and nice and bright, and I like the tones of the decor chosen, very easy on the eyes. nice video
The Conservatorium hotel looks very elegant, but for me the most special place to stay in Amsterdam is the 5 star boutique hotel Grand Amrath. Originally the Shipping House Offices, it's considered one of the finest architectural masterpieces of Amsterdam, being a collaboration of the Netherland's finest Art Nouveau architects, sculptors, artisans and stained glass artists. Staying there was a real priviledge, and a cherished memory. It would be a treat for your viewers if you were to review it some time.
The history resembles the Fullerton in Singapore. But the strong interior design makes it a really remarkable urban oasis from pool to restaurant to spa to room, fully deserving to be in the central location of the Museum and Entertainment district. Still , how could the Duplex accommodate 3 adults and 1 child with 1 queen size bed remains quite a puzzle.
Thanks for the upload. Slick hotel, a bit pretentious but no doubt of a high quality. I prefer more intimate hotels, the Pulitzer is my choice in Amsterdam, maybe you could try it sometime?
I used to pass this everyday when it was the Conservatory of Music. I used to delight to see students get on with double basses and cellos and multi piece percussion, rushing to get everything on an out of the way before the tram started again. It makes me sad to see it no longer a music institute. Amsterdam has some wonderful hotels, (The Amstel is my favorite) but it would have been for this to continue on as a school.
Excellent! The con for me on the location is not being on one of the canals. Have you already reviewed or will you review the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam? Thanks for all the wonderful videos you have created! Virtual luxury travel at its best!
Nice suite, balanced between sobriety and warm atmosphere. Junction old a new builgdings are well matched. IMHO the lobby and rest of common areas are overfurnitured, I know is trend but, for me, sometimes feel like a fourniture warehouse instead of a 5* hotel. Thanks for share this excellent video.
I would pay just to walk down those hallways! But I must know - having never been to a remote tropical resort, which I often see on your channel, do you have a preference between those and these more urban locations?
For anyone wondering this is the Hotel map on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, there have also been trademark and copyright issues with the hotel and the game makers Activision.
Since this hotel is situated right in the museum area with a high amount of car and train traffic, do you hear much of the “klang-klang” sounds coming from the street level trains or from the autos, etc.?
@@luxurytravelexpert I noticed you didn't have background music when you filmed the view from the window of your suite. Couldn't hear any outside noise at all!
so refreshing to see people without those abhorrent and useless facemasks. Thanks for this hotel review, the building looks absolutely stunning and I especially like the atrium. Feels so cozy and invites to be discovered.
This is a beautiful hotel, more in a masculine style in my opinion. After watching the Taj Mahal Mumbai, I realise I prefer the softer opulence of colonial days.

This shot, in the suite's upper bathroom, hidding your face with the shaving mirror, is supreme 🤩

For luxury and classic car buffs, might I suggest a day trip from Amsterdam to The Louwman Museum in Lieden. A real must!

The conservatory still exists, they just changed locations to a larger (and better) venue.

Stayed here back in 2012, was beautiful
Switching to Oriental music to match the Taiko Asian restaurant was a nice touch

I dropped a 25-2 game while using a Gold Kastov no ghost no dead silence just superior map Knowledge
I’m usually enamoured by London and Paris, but I’m very interested to see what Amsterdam has to offer.

Plenty of tulips, pot and ladies of the evening. ;)
Not the best modern warfare map but pretty good. I really like Farm 18!
Is it just me or did they use this hotel as a reference for one of the new maps in COD MW-II???
where do you get the soundtracks to make your videos from?😍

Felt like a dingy public restroom with blue lights to keep the junkies away.
Glad a lot of cod fans are here lol.
Beautiful, but am I the only one who had an issue with the noise in the hotel in some spots?
nice, 40:20 in amsterdam hotel ;)
