- Rising from the ashes on the site where Firehawk once stood comes a new legend in the Beast family - Beast Unleashed, the world's tallest, fastest, and longest non-launched roller coaster. Standing at 380 feet tall, the ride features a 410 foot, 87 degree drop into a ravine, and a max speed of 108mph. Coming spring 2020, discover the elusive experiment number 5 lurking in the woods, and make your escape from the Beast Unleashed.
UNOFFICIAL CONCEPT
This is a concept I made built on the land opened up by the removal of Firehawk. The ride is built on topographic data imported from Google, so the terrain is all real on a large scale, but smaller details may be inaccurate.
I wanted to design my hypothetical dream coaster around the premise that the B&M Giga rumors are true. The ride is heavily inspired by both Fury 325 and The Beast as it is a fast, intense ride with lots of low and fast moments tucked away in the backwoods of King's Island. It uses the slope behind the former Firehawk location to dive 30 feet lower than its maximum height.
The ride features 14 airtime moments, a 4.5G terrain turnaround, a reverse treble clef element, and tons of airtime bank transitions inspired by Intimidator 305.

Alright seriously kings island needs to see this. I mean I get it, it’s fanmade and all but seriously??? Come on this is the most dope creation I’ve seen of the KI giga yet! I mean the name and logo is great, has a really strong layout, sweet stats, and if this thing were built, I could totally see it being top 10 in the world. Fantastic job my guy 👌🏽

A RMC Son of Beast needs to happen In my opinion
The way they're teasing the ride with "number five is alive" wouldn't make sense for their giga coaster. Because their 5th coaster was son of beast. And to be honest if there's one company who could bring son of beast back to life, it would be RMC.

All Things Cubed that means the Apollo’s Charriott would be a mega coaster, not a hyper. But since it has a drop greater than 200 ft, it’s a hyper. The height may indicate it’s a giga, but the drop is 410 ft, meaning it’s a strata

Just an FYI this would be a strata coaster, since Apollo’s chariot is only 170ft tall but has a 210ft drop and is still a hyper
eliminator 007 yeah the definitions for strata/Giga/hyper are messy at best.
I called it a giga because we’ve never seen a non-launched strata. I guess technically it’s a strata, though that would technically also make B&M dive machines hyper coasters. And then we have coasters like Steel Eel that people call hypers even though it’s not 200 feet tall.
They’re weird marketing terms, so classify this concept ride however you want lol

I remember back in the late 70's I rode The Great Gasp at SFOG with my brother. I was scared because it was so tall but he convinced me to ride. I remember thinking it would be insane if a coaster was made that had a drop the height of the "Gasp". Well that was 1979. I am blown away that we now have coasters with drops almost double that height. Heck coasters with drops higher than most city skyscrapers. This is amazing. Never would have seen this coming some 40 years ago.
With the land clearing going on right now I can't wait to see whats in store!

@@Koasterking212 still be grateful for Orion, they didn't make it better because it would cost at least 50 or 60 million to build this. And cedar fair already said they don't want to spend more than 30 million for a roller coaster. At least for a whille.
Just so you know, over 400 makes it a Strata Coaster. No one has done one yet with a lift hill so I’d love to see them do it!
Great Ride. Love the air bumps after the big drops and really dig the cleft urrn around and Stiegel dive right before the MCBR. Very cool !
firehawk was taken down for the antique cars, but i went yesterday and the road for the antique cars was small, and there is still a big open space where firehawk was so hopefully this is true

I so badly want them to continue The Beast legacy with an new addition. I would also love to see them put the tunnels back on Woodstock Express and change the name back to Beastie. Could you imagine it? This video is chill inducing and almost brought tears of joy to my eyes. Spectacular job, you've got a future, you should start submitting work to Cedar Fair and get some promotional jobs with them. This is brilliant.
For everyone wondering, This was made before the drop height classification became a thing. Therefore back then, this would have been a giga. Orion introduced that rule after this was made
We're entering into a whole new age of coasters at this point. Six flags will never invest into a beast this big, king da ka was great when it was revealed but this is far beyond that

Inb4 Six Flags says "Cedar Point got a giga?! Hold our beer, gents... We got work to do!" And we see two coasters come down and then get B&M to remake them in the same manner. Those two coasters being Titan and Goliath, the two Giovanola hypers, which would be torn down after 2020 season at Magic Mountain, and 2021 for Over Texas. Then two years later, we get "Goliath's Wrath" and "Ultra Titan" respectively, both standing at 400 ft with a drop of 420 ft and speeds up to 105 mph, just under Beast Unleashed.

I'm hoping that with the "Five Is Alive" slogan that this coaster will be themed to the 80's movie "Short Circuit".
Great animation, just change the color scheme so that it doesn't match Fury's colors, change the wide spine to just be on the lift hill and the drop, like Fury and Leviathan, and take out the mid-course break run. Giga's don't need a mid-course, unless you're Steel Dragon 2000, but that's the longest roller coaster in the world. Take out all of those things and you have a perfect ride
I've never actually noticed that gigas never have MCBRs... I just put it in for blocking reasons/"realism". Wonder why they don't...
NumberFiveIsAlive I think they leave them out because they want the ride to go at full force the whole time, and don’t want a stoppage of the insane ride that is going on. They don’t need them for blocking reasons because they have two block sections on the end brake run. Either that or the ride is just so long that they can send out another train before the other train has finished the course. Plus, the lift hill usually takes a decently long time to get to the top of anyways, which could be enough time by itself to have another train ready to send out at any second
Nitro, intimidator, and diamondback have MCBRs, looks great to me. I’d rather have three trains instead of two especially for the length.
No. They should leave the coaster as is. If you want the coaster to be a different way, maybe you should become and engineer and do your own work instead of demanding something so petty. This coaster is an insane edition to Ohio's coaster collection. They could color this thing pink and yellow and it's still going to be one of the best things in 2020
@@delidanks those are all Hypers. Millennium Force, I305, Leviathan, and Fury all don't have them come to think of it. I think it suits this layout just fine honestly.

This is cool looking but may I remind everyone that a "giga" coaster is a coaster that is between 300 to 399 feet. This ride is 410 feet which classifies it as a "strata" coaster, which is a coster between 400-499 feet.
This looks like something i would build in rollercoaster tycoon 2 and then nobody would go on it.

Move over my creation lol. I loved this! The only thing I would change is the colors (too Fury 325ish) but all in all I enjoyed this!
Yeah I wanted it to blend in with the terrain... but I didn't want a huge poop brown giga, so green seemed to be the only option. I went through a ton of different color palettes that just didn't look right so I settled on the green. Though I think a purple stripe on the bottom could look good and avoid the Fury lookalike-ness.
I will say I think you did a MUCH better job on your plaza, I just did NOT have the patience for placing all those scenery items after going cross eyed putting all the trees and supports in. Yours is a better airtime machine too, I struggled with building big airtime hills because they seemed unrealistically huge, so I kept it low in the first half to burn off all the insane speed it had

Honestly a giga would just complete the lineup and give an amazing top 5. Giga, Beast, Diamondback, Banshee, Mystic Timbers.
You have the world’s longest wooden and inverted coaster. One of the top ranked GCi coasters. One of the top ranked coasters of all time and hypers. And a record breaking giga? KI would be a mini cedar point in just how powerful it’s lineup is. All world class coasters
If it’s a wing coaster, which it very well may be, then it’s bound to beat GateKeeper and Asian wing coaster records as well. Giving Kong’s Island a top 6 coasters for when they add their giga after that
