Breathtaking. Art meets form. This is what comes out of generation that wants to express freedom, personal responsibility, pride in personal accomplishment and optimism. Resto-mod done right.
It seems like with all the attention to detail that they would have made the steering tighter...it's a truly Beautiful car but why the hell not put a Ford motor of some kind in it? I personally love anything from 302s to 460s and it wouldn't be a crossbred mongrel
This is one of the neatest sleds Maple has offered in a long while! I would drive this car every day, the '50 Merc is such an iconic design. Fix the charging system and radio and enjoy the drive.
Someone put a lot of time and effort in this vehicle it shows alot of pride one of the nicest cars you've had even though it is a more door you could not build it for that price will sell fast
This one definitely sets the standard. Every piece of this car was tastefully built not only to showcase what could be done today, but what had already been done so long ago. Whoever buys this ride Is definitely getting something special.
I have to figure out what this Mercury model is. And so, I did, and I found that this is a 3rd Generation Mercury Eight, from 1949 to 1951. The Mercury Eight is the 1st ever model, starting from 1938 until the discontinuation in 1951. There is no other models from Mercury before 1938. For 10 years, this is the only thing that Mercury has to offer, until the M-Series Truck, also known as the Ford F-Series. This sedan was replaced by the third model made by Mercury: the Monterey. This should hopefully clear things up for anyone who doesn’t know what specific Mercury model is, even it’s a 1950 model, which is one of the two cars produced by Mercury then. Once again, it’s the Mercury Eight.
To add to the car, you can put power windows in and use the cranks as a method to operate the switches. That way you keep the look but make it modern. A little advice for whoever buys it.
Now that's a beautiful sled,,,or that's what we called them back in my day,,,,,and you know someone put more than a hundred thousand dollars in my vehicle,,,, very nice Nick
Chop it, channel it, deck it, paint it. I like a deep bing cherry with fine gold metal flake. Then you'd really have something, although, this is a beautiful ride just as it is.
Ms. Daisy, is truly the Bees knee's, for she was meant to be the answer for Roles of the day, in the good old USA. For the price at 35 k is a real steal and there is know buts about it. For her body is just as lovely as she came off the show room floor and she is a rare commodity for sure. For not many of them have not seen anymore, so you do the math.
I go to the James Dean every yr, ur price is in that ballpark for a un chopped Merk, very well done I'd say ,what a lead sled it is.hope the new owner will drive that they are ment too be.might seen it in late SEPT, at James Dean Run😊
"It's fine, it's just fine" (lol)...No, but that engine is sweet, and I fully enjoyed the view of the interior. The car makes several different sounds, kinda like Beyonce's octave range in concert.
IF I HAD MONEY , TELL YOU WHAT I'D DO ...ID GO TO MAPLE MOTORS AND BUY ME 1 OR 2 .... CUZ I'M CRAZY ABOUT THE MERCY ... I'M GONNA BUY ME A MERCY AND CRUZE IT ON DOWN THE ROAD 🛣️ 😁🎯
Breathtaking. Art meets form. This is what comes out of generation that wants to express freedom, personal responsibility, pride in personal accomplishment and optimism. Resto-mod done right.
Yeah they nailed it!

The spirit of James Dean lives on with that Merc.
The dashboards on all of the older cars are beautiful.

Respect to the builder..
Beautiful cat. Someone really cared.
Chevy motor does not belong in the Merc! Beautiful car from the past, not A cross bread.
