I work as a waiter in a great restaurant in NYC and I had the pleasure of working on his table and let me tell you what a incredible human being he was so kind and gracious to me it was an absolute pleasure to handle his table of 12 I wish he would coach my Jets someday. Great interview guys slowly becoming my go to podcast! 💪🏽
I spent some time interning with the Chiefs during the Herm Edwards era and I can't believe how amazing Andy has been in turning around the franchise (especially when he DIRECTLY asked for Alex Smith to be what would eventually become his "bridge QB," and in a Reid offense was considered by Christmas of his last season in KC to be in the MVP hunt over Brady at times). So much suffering for a franchise that loves football and has a college football atmosphere every single sunday. The mouth-watering BBQ speaks for itself. It's so great that Andy loves you guys so much he's willing to drop observations and wisdom that only fans can imagine. He found his second wind in KC and we're gonna build a statue of him some day. Go Chiefs!!
When you said last week (see, I listen) that you had a big Chiefs interview this week, I totally thought it would be Patrick or Travis. Never in a million years did I think it would be Big Red. What a huge, exciting, surprise!
Never heard of this podcast before but I am a Chiefs fan and it came up on my feed. First of, great job and great questions Long brothers. How can you not love Randy Reid?
Big Red brings the juice with the Long Brothers today. For our question today, we want you to predict which week of the NFL season will Patrick Mahomes break out the behind the back pass?
Saw Andy Reid and a handful of his staff during one of his first few seasons in KC at a Steak ‘n Shake in Indianapolis during the weekend of the Combine. Just seemed like a regular guy. You couldn’t help but think here I am at fn Steak ‘n Shake, and there’s Andy Reid and his staff at the table right next to me.
42 year old born Chiefs fan from the middle of Kansas. We've had some great players and coaches come thru Chiefs Kingdom since it relocated from Dallas, no one other than Hank Stram and Dick Vermeil has brought the energy Coach Reid does. He's a national treasure
Did your father teach you both to hate the Chiefs when you 2 were young. Did he explain the total hatred between the two franchises, cities, players, coaches? Lamar Hunt & the AFL are responsible for opening the league to African Americans. Al Davis drafted Upshaw mostly to attempt & stop Buck Buchanan. I grew up in KC. Hating anything Raider was good for an extra 50 cent allowance! Your father was a great player and is a decent person & man. He did a good job as a father. Glad he gave up acting! Very much enjoy your cast. Thanks.
?? I thought they did a great job. I’ve never seen the podcast before so nothing to compare it to. I didn’t plan on watching the whole thing but they kept my full attention.

Coach Reid is by far my favorite Chief
It may be a universal truth that we all love coach Reid
3 Quality humans. LOVE Green Light. Best pure football pod...and it's not even close. #chiefskingdom #lfg
I can see why all the players love coach Reid, what a great guy. Thanks for for this!

Andy Reid reminds me of an old OL coach I had. He’s so cool. I would love to have played for him.

I aspire to have the same degree of excitement as Chris had listening to Andy's janitor TD play story as much as possible
My first time watching your show...Had to stop and see what Papa Andy had to say and it was great, so I subscribed!
Keep up the good work! 😊👍
Welcome aboard!
All hail the glorious Chiefs
Gotta love Andy Reid.. He was smooth how he dogged that Chris Jones question ..lol
Love coach and his smile it's infectious. P.S. Pat is 7-2 without Jones. Go chiefs
Go Chiefs indeed!
2 of Pats 9 or so losses have happened when Jones is out? Not looking good.
@@freedomthefreeman487Well, it's a 0.778 winning percentage without him and 0.800 with him. Not a huge difference there
Great to see you Kyle Long! (And Chris and Andy).
Just another great interview, you have become my daily commute listening
Appreciate that!
Andy sending pictures of the Lombardi to Juju then brings him in actually wins the superbowl first year there. What a legend.

Next, can we please have Nick Foles.
Great show. Thank you
Thx for watching
Coach Reid has coached many great quarterbacks. Brett Farve, Michael Vick, and Alex Smith, plus the ones Chris mentioned.
Coach Reid isn't a future HOFer for nothing!
And the QB, Coach Reid has now, is a pretty good player, too.
@@jkrasney1 Patrick and Donavan were the ones mentioned in the podcast

Was not expecting this interview. Thank you!
Probably during a blowout game, he will bring out the behind-the-back pass.

I love the intelligence in this interview. Nice job.
GREAT interview guys!
Appreciate you!
The question of, how is Pat different after snap was a good question. Liked coaches answer
Great interview
Appreciate it, only the best for you!
Imagine Travis goes on a cheesesteak run for Big Red whenever he pops up to Philly during the bye week 😂😂😂
Would be quite the sight!
Great show
Andy Reid is the fucking best man. How could you not want to die for him if he's your coach

Big football guy!
Chris, your volume needs to be turned up.
No it's ring #4
Your question about Chris Jones was 30 seconds long. Please stop answering questions after you ask them. Let the man talk.

Tyreek is a great player...as a person....not so much
Andy, talk more about your drunk son slamming his car into another. And Seriously injuring a 5 year old girl. How does that relate to your coaching???
Sorry guys but your questions were soooo lame. You need to up the energy.
