- The Only Review of Nothing Ear 2 you'll ever need to watch. This is possibly one of the most interesting bluetooth earbuds you can get under $150 . But is it really good at active noise cancellation or sound quality? How does the Nothing Ear 2 compare against the Sony LinkBuds S, Soundcore Liverty 4 or even Soundpeats or JBL.

This is what a review should look like. Absolutely loved your video. Your video came out of nowhere in my recommendations, and thank god it did. This type of content sets a bar. ✨☺️
Your reviews are so helpful. I've seen some big tech RUclipsrs review these but I honestly value your opinion a lot more. I honestly want to try these but I knew that waiting for more reviews to pop up would be a wise decision so it was nice to see yours.
Thanks for the discord invite too. Admittedly I'm not an active user and I don't use the app often, but your EQ profiles are very helpful. I like to make my own EQ profiles as well but sometimes it's just nicer to use someone else's that also do a very good job!
Thank you for the kind words. :)
First video of yours I've come across. Thank you so much for keeping things within context, explaining things well and showing comparisons. It helps paint a much more helpful picture!
what an amazing channel i bumped into. Im honestly not an audiophile but how interestingly you explained these details here made me fall in love with your channel.
Thank you!
Wow! I've been following your channel for a while but this is by far one of the best videos I've seen from you! The detail, the flow, the production are all superb! Keep it up man!
Wow, great review man! I like how you did the work of showing levels and how the different modes actually affect different freq ranges 👏🏾
What a cool, niche channel you got here for audiophiles and the best part, you look like you’re really enjoying what you do. Great Job!
Although I am quite happy with XM4s their battery gets weaker every update and I see all your videos for a possible replacement. Maybe you can do a biannual “Top 5 wireless earphones of the year so far” if that’s not too boring for you. Cheers!
Very good review. I already ordered them yesterday, but wanted to know more and now I do. Thank you!
I absolutely loved how you explained every term in simple terms. Kudos!
This was really helpful since I was really looking into this atm.. Thank you
Very comprehensive and surprisingly fun too. Good job. Keep it up 👍👍
Great video, very detailed! Opinions on this vs the Sony linkbuds S? I can find linkbuds s for under $100 and I'm mostly looking for earbuds to use while commuting on the train and for work.
Thank you for doing a honest review!
This Video is a beauty now you change my perspective towards sound.
Amazing video. Keep this up!
This is an amazing review. I'm scared to do mine now because you literally covered all the bases on why these are good earbuds.
Hey thanks!
Amazing video and review! Greetings from Greece
Good job.
Very informative
Thanks
My guy the eq you gave us freaking amazing man 👌 personally I love the nothing ear stick more than these it’s louder and the clarity is way better than these.
genuinely man, your quality is so much higher than how many subscribers and views you have
I'm convinced you deserve at least a million
Thank you!
@@imwhatsnew Holy shit! I was expecting millions sub because this is Mrwhosetheboss quality.
awesome review, this earned you a subscriber
Thank you very much for this in detailed review but on conclusion would you suggest to buy or opt for other alternatives in market ?
I couldn't agree with you more on that frequency graph! I don't like it when they push the bass boost past the ~200hz or into lower mids region.
I just bought 1 after I watched your review. 👍
World war... Tic tok.
This, this right here sold me on subscribing to you. A genuinely honest and intelligently funny review. I WILL be watching more 👍🏽
No problems with slipping out of the ears because i put on some Spinfit C360 eartips.
Increased comfort and sound quality.
we were waiting for you . dam good video .. and very creative
So glad i found you
Hi, I really like explanation about that special feature, Some are reviewer saying it's sounds like Air pods Pro, Is it correct..? And which has better sound Sony Link Bud S or Nothing Ear 2..?
And Waiting review of Sony WF C700N..
I've had problems with the Personalized Audio EQ where I can hear distortion and compression (?) artifacts particularly in the highs on most songs. These are not present with the EQ off. Maybe these are just artifacts that where always present in these songs but just could only hear them now thanks to the Personalized Audio?
Hi, great and very detailed review! I bought it at launch but now I'm asking myself if I did the right choice....Are the linkbuds s better on sound quality/anc/microphones? I also miss ldac on ear 2's...
Link buds s are better for Anc... Sound quality depends o. What you're after. Mic is better on link buds s as well
Thank you! So I have these earbuds as well and slipping out of my ears slowly but surely within like 5 to 20 minutes depends on how freshly I am after the shower I guess* the grease on the ear in the ear matters. Question: does the apple airpods pro 2 do the same? Slipping out? I like I can customize the functions but as I many times hang up calls by touching the button I wish I could disable all button controls but of course I cannot disable exactly this one. BTW comfort, for some reason the left one is tickling my ear I couldn’t figure out why yet. Also I posted on Reddit this: when it test the personalized ANC I can hear at approximately in the middle of the test it has a very strong great ANC performance but then the applied one after the test is done is weaker so it looks like it is capable to do more by hardware/software but it does not deliver it. Actually it is even slightly tiny bit stronger without the personalized option on. I hope they will fix it!
This was extremely helpful, thank you.
I watched it because I am considering purchasing these as I have the Sony X4 and X5 and feel stupid for buying these without checking they can do "mono mode" like Airpods which allows me to use either left or right while the other is charging for when walking and need to hear traffic. Can I confirm you can do that with these please?
I'm glad it was helpful ...and yes, it can :).
Good review great job 👍
this review is the best(period).
You should review the one plus buds pro 2 they sound amazing, arguably the best TWS right now
What are your opinions on the one plus buds pro 2 vs the nothing ear 2s?
First of all I love your reviews very detailed and informativ.
I had the Liberty 3 Pro's but they are broken now. So I need something new.
I struggle to decide between the Nothing ear 2, the Linkbuds S and the Liberty 4.
Which one would your recommend? Sound quality is the most important thing.
All the best✌🏾️☺️
Personally the linkbuds s with a bit of a boost to the 1k to 6k in eq but.. It lacks bass slam for sure
@@imwhatsnew thank you so much for your opinion 🙏🏾 just ordered them for 129€ in sale. Even tho the Liberty 4 are for sale today for 109€
I'm wondering exactly the same.
While I value sound quality the most I have an upcoming trip with long plane flights so ANC is super important to me. Could you recommend what pair I should buy under $150? I listen mostly to Jazz, funk and blues. TIA.
Under 150 currently best anc according to my measurements is soundpeats mini pro hs pr jbl tune 230 pro ...however yhe galaxy buds 2 pro is pn superb discount ..I'd pair that with some 3rd party foam tips and get pretty decent results I think
I can't stressed enough how informative and entertaining your reviews are, and dude that crow screaming "subscribe" was hilarious 😂
😂
Did you test the new update with the new equalization and advanced EQ feature in the app?
Yup...sound signature hasn't changed.but the eq option is great
Might be the corporate guy in me speaking but.... loved the graphs and the suggestion to get close to the benchmark (harman)!
Thanks... though I consider Harman the research. Not the benchmark... Not the in ear target certainly
The app design is just too good 👌
Timestamps please
My only fear is, what if I do these changes and with a firmware update, they change their signature graph, and i happen to mess it up even more because of it.
It is a possibility... but I think they haven't don't so yet...you can always reset the changes
Please make review for "OnePlus buds pro 2"
hy can you provide a balanced eq for this(after firmware update using advanced eq)
anyway, why recent tws doesn't use neodymium magnets just curious
Have you heard OnePlus buds pro 2 are they better then OnePlus buds pro 2
Have you tried the OnePlus pro 2 yet? I'm struggling with wich one to buy, both are beatiful and great sounding but I can't decide D:
Review coming up next week
What are your Thoughts on the Lypertek Pureplay z3?
Haven't tried it yet.
I had these, sonically great but a bit dated on the codec and design part
Woah this review went in deeper than Etymotic IEMs!
yr sry baut cringe tha 😞
Loved it.
Do you will make a video of the OnePlus buds pro 2 ?
Yup. Dropping in a couple of days :)
should i get the nothing ear 2 or sony link buds s?
Ear 2 if you want a bit more bass emphasis..linkbuds s if you want better anc and overall sound quality
Love how you compared the generations with World War and TikTok 😂😂
Can you review the OnePlus Buds Pro 2?
Yes please I second this request!!
I was in sharafDG yesterday
Wanted to check the actual product
And they said, i cant
Technical issues 😑
Thanks for this amazing Review. Can you give a comparison between ear 2 and Oppo enco X2?
Do the nothing ear (2) buds have touch (slide) volume controls or is it strictly pinch controls?
Pinch only.
Very good review bro 🤝🏼
you have to have a phone 1 to really maximize your experience with the ear2.
Is the low-lag mode actually working on non Nothing phones? I don't think it's supposed to.
It was before the update. Now it doesn't seem to make a difference.. Or a difference within the margin of error of the measurement.
Aree dada love from Maharashtra ❤😁
If you drop the treble AND drop the muds AND drop the bass, isn't that just lowering the volume?
You'd think so but actually each slider has a limited range of frequencies it affects so certain frequencies are lowered and others remain where they are.. And also within their respective frequency ranges not all frequencies are reduced to the same extent. This video is a much edited and reduced version compared to all the testing that was done lol.
Oh, this so much sounds nicer to me than my AirPods Pro 2. Getting choices with EQ and a good base tuning. The fact that its ANC isn’t as good doesn’t bother me so much. I think the issues with the mic does concern me as well. I wonder if the issues with the mic and the issues with the ANC are related
Schill alert
Hi there, Sir i would like to ask you one simple question.... I am a student and all i have ever used are headphones and earphones that costed not more than 2000 maybe tried one that costed 5000.... But everytime i hear them I don't see any major changes what so ever.... Now that i have tested so many of them i just want to use a earphone or headphone that provides me a premium sound quality.... No more of over the top bass or unnecessary trebbles that hurt my ear.... I just want to ask you can i go for the nothing ear 2? For a college student like me 10k is a lot to pay for.... So i want to confirm that is it worth 10k or not.... Currently using nothing phn 1.... I need convenience, a rich premium sound quality with great instrument separation, tight bass response,( not over the top head hurting trebble pls) and clear vocals, good mic for taking calls and yes i dont game that much with headphones it is not my cup of tea.... I feel nausea will playing games using headphones or earphones.... So that latency is not an issue for me.... All i want is a well balanced great sounding earphones... Pls suggest should i invest my money in it or just go for any other earphones under 10k... Pls pls pls suggest
Edit: i need a stem type design.... Those round large pod like designs hurt my ears...
Linkbuds s if it's on sale is better if you apply a bit of eq
.. Otherwise go for a wired pair of Iems those are way better and much cheaper too.
@@imwhatsnew right now it's at 13499 it's quite out of budget and if I go for IEM then I have to buy another compatible adaptor as nothing phone 1 doesn't have a headphone jack.... Also wearing a wired earphone is bit of an issue cause I commute via local trains daily.... If possible could you pls recommend a pair of tws which costs within 10k.... I know I am asking way too much still I really don't know what else to do.... I love listening to music of every genre be it hip-hop or classical.... And yet I am stuck with 10k budget.... Sorry for bothering you so much.... If it is possible then I would like to see an under 10k best tws video from your end sir.... I love the way you explain everything and who knows music listening better then audiophile.... Thank you very much for your precious time... I hope that you get the recognition that you deserve.... I truly believe that this channel, its content and the way you dived into everything in details is just amazing.... Wish you a very happy day sir...
No its ok, an option that comes to mind that is well tuned is the jbl tune 230nc. It has a stem and is within your budget. Great Anc but the stem is a bit thick and you have to make sure it fits in your ear properly.
@@aayandutta2460 in same position bro i planning to go with nothing ear 2 what do you say.?
@@ahladsree maybe you should wait or go for oppo enco x2... Don't buy pixel buds a series.... I am waiting for any kind of sale.... A price drop or so.... Or you may go for the earstick I know they don't have anc or hi res audio support but for longtime usage they are actually good for your ears.... It won't cause any sort of ear pain.... OnePlus buds 2 pro are there as well but it cost 2 thousand more ... But they are base heavy.... If you are ok with wires then I would suggest go for a in ear monitors they provide the best audio output and a good iem with dual driver uses the second driver which are made by hearing aid companies..... If not then the only best choice is nothing ear 2....
You are fun to watch
Thank you
Do people really not understand how airpods latency is lightyears ahead of anything on the market?
Sometimes, people asking for help is akin to babies crying😂
Where's the 10k nothing comparing to 24k sony 1000 tws
Is doesnt compare really ..
⚠️ warning: Ear piercing syblance after 15:00 during mic test
