    Nicely done! This is by far the best video of this issue! Q-tip with Vaseline or axel grease would be better to clean out the aluminum particles.

      @@autopurlieuwhat was the torque setting on the new drain plug? On the Honda OEM drain plug, the torque is 29-30 ft/lbs.

    Magnet doesn't work on aluminum

    1 aluminum isn’t magnetic
    2 drill out all of the old threads so the tap goes all the way in and you don’t have m14 threads at the far end
    3 use a time sert with a steel insert and it won’t strip out again like the first one

      I have to agree on the use of the Timesert. They are permanent and long lasting. I had one on a Corolla and drove 180k on the timesert..never had a problem with it.

    Cosa succede se qualche piccolo trucciolo metallico cade dentro alla coppa dell'olio? Può essere pericoloso per il motore?

      Drain it out. Pour some oil and it will drain out

      @@autopurlieu grazie per il suggerimento. Ho visto un video dove mettono dell'olio per fare uscire eventuali truccioli metallici. Secondo la tua esperienza, se dentro alla coppa dell'olio rimane qualche piccolo trucciolo metallico, può causare danni al motore? In un video ho visto che alcune vetture hanno un filtro metallico, una specie di rete metallica, per trattenere eventuali detriti. Sai dirmi se questo filtro viene utilizzato in tutti i motori di nuova generazione?

      @@jmn495 yes. All car has filter on oil pick up line and of course you have oil filter aswell.
      Some engine has magnet inside the bottom of the oil pan. You should be fine

      @@autopurlieu quindi ci sono due filtri, uno sta sulla linea di prelievo e il secondo filtro é quello che si sostituisce ogni 15/20000 km. Giusto?

      @@jmn495 yes. Dont over think it. Or just do change oil twice. You should be fine
