I don't often shop at Aldi because when I do I always leave with a ukulele and a beginners taxidermy kit, which isn't bad except you have to wait behind a bunch of people with full trollies doing their 2 weeks worth of shopping.
I feel ya. We don't have Aldi's up north, so when we visit our daughter and the grandkids, it turns into an excursion we didn't envisage.
Aussie Aldi Experience... The Peanut Butter is next to a Wooden Pallet with Camping Gear or Battery Drills.

Could always add Parmesan or any grated cheese on top when it's hot.
I toss on some grated mozz and nuke a bit more to melt.
On the Menu "pub favourite 320g" are are around $7. McCain Pub Size meals 50% bigger are around $7.50. Aldi more than meet the mark. Add an Aldi $3.70 precious earth semillion sav blanc, you have a meal fit for a king ( or lonely bachelor).

I love this stuff
$1 per hundred grams is the benchmark for all food. Sauces more, pasta less etc. Chicken $1.30/100gms. This meal at $5 per 500gms is on the money.
But it's $7 and 480 grams.
