  • It seems to be the dawn of the day of reckoning for bad men! For many years, women have been given the advice to invest in the potential of men, endure hardship, and to ignore some red flags from questionable love interests. Well, enough is enough! In today’s episodes the sisters talk about the tea on ‘bad men’, how to stop feeling sorry for those committed to being no good - and when it’s time to make an escape plan if you’ve been trapped by one!

Someone strangling you is not a red flag to me. It is sirens. There is no getting better from there. This man is definitely cheating, and it can only going to get worse from there. She needs to get out immediately because who knows what will trigger him to do worse.

To my fellow sister: Please leave him. From personal experience (not saying this exact experience will happen to you if you stay), my older sister just opened up to us about domestic violence after being with her man for 15 years with 4 kids. He finally raised a hand at my niece this summer and my sister got in the middle and got hurt instead. He went to jail a temporarily and if she files for domestic violence at this point, there’s a good chance he’ll lose his job and find it difficult to get a new one and she can’t financially support the kids by herself. There are more reasons for you to leave then to stay, especially at your age. Don’t let him keep digging this hole before it gets more difficult to climb out

Community and knowing you are loved is so important. I went through a break-up and mid tear I remembered the first lyrics from "I'm Here" in The Color Purple.
"I don't need you to love me. I don't need you to love. I've got... My Sister. I can feel her now"
Ha! Tears? Instantly dried up! Crying? Naaah! Just opening up to a sister that can tell you "Mam! Why are you acting like you don't know who you are?!" is vital!

Something I had saved on my phone:
    "Be blunt with me."
"He's the skid mark on the underpants of society."
THIS is the realness we need, Sisters! 🤣

Also Clare’s Law - if you or someone you care about (family, friend etc) is in a relationship with someone that is unsafe or of concern, you can anonymously request information from the local authority on any criminal history and alert of unsafety. Please fill a request. It could save someone.

I pray our sister from the dilemma makes it out safely, you deserve a soft worshipping love. It is clear why he didn't speak on his previous relationships, he probably abused her too and has a pattern of it. I pray we can one day live in a society where all abusers are convicted. Pressing charges on abusive men helps protect other women as they can search up his criminal record, then make an informed decision on whether to date him or not. Even when he moves on his patten of abuse will continue because he is the problem not you, he is a sleep paralysis demon whose only goal is to drain your life energy. We don't lay with demons, we rebuke them and send them back to sender. It is never your fault, it is not your fault he cheated, not your fault he abuses/abused you it will always be his fault because he is 100% aware of what he is doing.

To the babe from the dilemma. Psychologists confirm that choking is usually the step before m*rder. Please get out of there. That man is raging narcissist. And i don’t say that lightly, the love bombing in the beginning to seem like the man of your dreams, the rushing to get together to cover up all his flaws or things he won’t be able to hide in the long run. The abuse, the gaslighting… that man will k*ll you. Please leave. You are not safe. Take it from someone who barely escaped the exact same situation. Run babe! Don’t look back. Staying with him is a death sentence and you know it. You either choose yourself or him but it can’t be both. Also, it won’t be much longer before he gets you pregnant and then you have to deal with deciding to go through with it and feel even more compelled to stay for your family. Don’t let it happen. Leave his sorry ass. You could never let a man like that around your child anyway.

You girls are just so chill and speak reality🤍. I leaned not to feel bad for bad men recently and it feels so good. I don’t compromise who I’m so they don’t feel bad!!! Like, if I go out and enjoy my time but once my conscience don’t feel safe or good, I choose to leave or say thank you but see you never brother! Glory be to God for the growth 🙏🏾🤍👏🏾
