This is good. God revealed a lot to me, in the past 6 months, about my emotions and how I’ve put so many walls up to keep people out, that I was keeping Him out and even locked myself out of parts of who I am. I’m doing the work now and it’s a process, because so many things account for why I became this way. But the end result will be great.
It’s definitely a process. The good news is God revealed and you’ve made the adjustments necessary to stay aligned with Him. I’m proud of you for doing the work sis! Hello sister. That video appeared on my feed, I clicked on it because the title was speaking to me. Yeah… you described me to a T. That’s not a coincidence because God has called me to come closer to Him but I am so distrustful or cautious with everyone… I know this stems from my childhood and my relationship with my earthly father. But God is good and I’ll keep pushing to have the intimacy I crave with Him. Thanks for being obedient and doing this video. This was the final push I needed. I used to struggle with worship until the Lord set me free and I'm growing in my intimacy with God but I'm declining in my intimacy with people / other saints which is weird since we are the body of Christ but that's just where I'm at. It's hard to praise among others but not by myself. i feel free and safe with God just not with people

It is so hard sometimes to utter words to God … I am so use to him just knowing me and my thoughts and I think that’s good enough. From your video I now know it’s not and I have to open my heart to God and stop shutting the door when something happens or emotions get involved. I dislike that I sometimes treat my relationship with God as my earthly dad. But your video popped up at the right timing God knows how to get his children attention! Thank you! 🙏🏾
I feel you sis, that is literally my same battle. I’m constantly having to remind myself that God is not like my earthly parents. And when I remember that, I thank Him even more because it reminds me that He’s a perfect Father. Yes, He created us but He also desires authentic relationship with us. God wants to hear from you and I’ve learned in the moments it’s hardest to use words is when He wants to hear from us the most. Even our tears can carry a message. I can come to God just as I am naked and a mess and boldly and myself. He knows me anyway. But how can He begin to do a work in you when you present yourself to be someone you’re not? He can only change us at the altar when we give Him the full, vulnerable, transparent, honest version of ourselves. And that is a mess! We are a mess without God! He knows that cause He created us! He knows that we need Him. We have to be able to go to God, not being perfect and just being ourselves. He can actually work with us that way! God is helping me see how important that authenticity leads to change.
Yes, pray, pray about it! The communication and prayers we do build intimacy for God to say come to me talk to me. He’s our Father. He wants to do that. He’s our Savior. He wants to save us! Physical intimacy has a posture of praise and worship. A posture of prayer. Your whole body has to be in it. Heart, mind, body, and spirit.
Best way to tackle is prayer ❤

I therefore bind to hell every fear of intimacy with God or another while binding one to desire to be intimate with God and the right kind of people in a godly manner in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ while binding one to desire to express one's needs clearly to others while binding to hell every lack of desire expressing one's needs clearly to another, binding to hell every fear of intimacy with God or the right kind of people in a godly manner while lacking desire to express one's needs clearly to another, in accordance with this word and james 4:8, 1 john 4:18, matthew 5:37, philippians 4:19, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

I think my fear if intimacy also has to do with not only what you listed but also, im scared to go deeper with God, because im scared of getting attacked by the enemy

But for now I want to encourage you that the enemy has nothing on you and you are way more powerful than you know! The enemy is not only out numbered but he’s beneath our feet. @annbblogs8755 That sounds like something the enemy tells you to try to keep you from experiencing the breakthrough and clarity he knows is on the other side of your fast. If God has called you to fast, be obedient to that. You owe it to God to at least try to put your flesh under subjection to His authority. I'm praying strength to your spirit.
