A lot of times he dosent give them the gifts, he simply is showing them it and has to take them back cause a lot of the time there borrowed on loan from someone. A lot of artists have given him a hard time I’ve heard which sucks it’s not his to give away

as an MF DOOM fan, i understand the craziness. i cherish my MF DOOM t-shirts.
For an artist who prided himself on being underground and staying away from the corporate structure, I find it interesting that he had so many collaborations. I knew about a few of these, but not about all of them.

I have a whole RUclips channel dedicated to hip hop collectibles and literally have never seen this danger doom bowl. That leads me to guess it was a promo item by the label in conjunction with the release. Super dope coverage!

As an avid collector of many things, the MF DOOM KidRobot figure is one of the few collectibles I consider a personal grail. One day, when I'm lucky or wealthy enough, I will procure it!

The dunks will forever be the best collectable for DOOM. Im glad I snagged a pair before Nike SB’s blew up again AND before DOOM’s passing.
my brother had the dunks for a number of years, and ended up selling them in the last few months of 2020. then the news that DOOM died came out right at the end of the year, and one of his first reactions went something like, "shit, i should've held onto them shoes. they gotta be worth a lot more right now." 😂

after watching this i decided to do some digging through the yellow and white tapes. The yellow tape apparently was a song made by antonio adolfo e a brazuca- transamazonica and the white one was the song used on Tim Maia - O Caminho Do Bem, pretty cool shit it points to madlib since his love for brazilian style music can be seen in multiple places.

It's nice to see in your video my double photo with Akomplica - Mystery Bag which I put up for sale. Interestingly, over the years I have purchased 7 different Mystery Bags to get a yellow cassette one for my collection, unfortunately all 7 Mystery Bags only contained white cassette!

Amazing vid!! I love those shoes!! All of them.. I wish I could get my hands on them! I DO have the Avalanche single with the DOOM statue tho! The artwork and detail is so fun to look at. I just keep it safe in it’s original artistic box in my closet :). It was exciting when I saw the exact statue appear in the back of Jazz’s cab on the new revived show of the Fresh Prince tv series, “Bel-Air”, when Will first arrives from Phili to LAX and Jazz is driving Will to his Uncle Phil’s for the first time in the beginning of the 1st episode of season 1. The MF DOOM statue was a nice touch of detail for them to add to the reboot for such an iconic moment from the original series. 💞 Thanks An Absurd Existence for such a great vid! Cheers!!
I actually skipped the Avalanche figure as I already have the All Caps one. Nowadays, I wouldn't mind having the box or the vinyl. Figure is dope, but I like the first release as it matches the video more. I also got the Quas figure right after it dropped / sold out on Ebay. Crazy to see these being so sought after nowadays.

The Nike SB x MF Doom Dunks are actually the third Nike SB Collaboration with a rapper. Nike SB released a collaboration with Quasimoto back in 2006 and even tho only 50 pairs released and was gifted to Stones Throw Records and their crew it still should counted as a release.

I bought the mm food special edition with the scratch and sniff my freshman year of highscool around 08/09. thats where i fell in love with his music. unfortunately my cousin stole the sticker and i lost the poster after moving. i still have the cd though. i also never relaized it was scratch and sniff until the other day,.

You showed the low top De La Soul dunks which came out well after the MF Doom’s, the high top versions were the first hip-hop/SB dunk collab.
Almost bought a pair of doom dunks a few years ago but when he passed everyone started doubling the price. It’s the same with the supreme collab not a ton of people listened to him and when he died he got bigger and I’m not hating on people becoming newer fans cause I haven’t been a fan for his entire career but all I’m saying is him passing probably doubled his amount of fans and now most of the collectibles are terribly priced although a lot of the collectibles have been expensive for a while.. For example his Halloween masks all sold out when he passed but you were able to buy the full set forever…

I'd argue that the officially licensed gladiator helmets made by factory x count as a MFDOOM collectable, his original mask was the face plate from one and later used as a template for his later chrome/ jewel ones
