could u please do a video how to mount an iame x30 battery and connect it to the engine. or wherever it goes. im building my kart but had to stop there bcos i didnt know what to do. Thanks
Hi Derek, I am looking at engines for my go kart. After seeing the videos of the Super X30 it got me interested but how does the maintenance compare to for example a Rotax Max Senior Evo and the regular Iame X30? Intervals and costs. Karting is a hobby for me so no competition driving.
Hi Mike, I haven't raced one enough to know that maintenance schedule's, but it is a grunt of an engine so you can gear them low because of the Torque and not turn them as hard. This will reduce the wear on all the engine internals for sure. But when in doubt refer to rule number 1........."the faster you go, the more money it costs"
Hello Derek, could you recommend me a good and not too expansive radiator and an air intake box for the super X30? My chassis is a new Praga with no front brakes. Thanks buddy
Hi ICIO, you could get a second hand motor bike radiator maybe for cheap alternative. the kits come with those parts, did you buy the engine brand new?

yeah we bolted it down to the X30 engine mount from memory.

Hallo Oguz, I reckon that’s fine. It’s only straight gears on the balance shaft in this one like the standard X30. So any gear oil will be fine
