Not clear and muddy because u use the wrong strings gauge. Who use the "9" when u want to drop the tune? 11 is pretty considerable.

I tune the A string up a semi-tone to create a dissonant chord with the string below. This way every time i strum in between the licks, it's more powerful and it fits better with the lead style. Then I tune it back down for the rest of the song.

I absolutely agree... latest Megadeth releases are pretty simple and straightforward, but classic Megadeth was very very technical for its time... although, it's pretty obvious that younger guys like Eddie, with all the bands and knowledge in his back, will surpass a lot of classic technical guitar maestros. (With the exception of Ron Jarzombek, that guy comes from Jupiter)
