Nice review, my friend.
Thanks
So beautiful review. Nice price
Thanks
Sounds great buddy 👍
Thanks
I have used Ugly Stix for some trolling rods for years and they have held up and take a beating
Best bang for your buck
Great review video!
Thanks!
ugly stick...they work, last longtime
They sure do.
Happy new year from mr Malibu Pete,God bless you and your family,I'm kind worried about your feet off the side oda boat please stop making.e worry
Haha thanks
I have 2 gx2 combos and just got the Chaos XS 60 but I paired it with a Big Game rod for catfish
You must be going for a monster catfish!
@@MooMooOutdoors Some flathead get up to 50 lbs around here
Dang! That's awesome
Thanks for the review!
Thank you 😁😁
Great video Moo, we've been running our UL for a long time now. Excited to see what 2022 has in store for you!
Thanks
Thanks Moo for all of your great info and expertise.
Thanks
That is a nice rod MooMoo and with as much experience as you have on the water, I definitely take your word for it. Thanks for sharing the great deal.
Me too . MOOMOO is a legend in these parts 👏
Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.
Awesome! Which reel do you prefer, the 50 or 60?
Thanks!
Thanks. I only have used 40 and 50 because I didn't want my reel to be too bulky. Between 40 and 50 I liked 50 better because of the power handle.
Good recommendation. The rod is pretty strong being a combination of graphite and fiberglass but as far as I can tell, it's not a hybrid. I think the tip is fiberglass only which helps in preventing breakage but ends up being a bit whippy. I could be wrong but there are too many ugly stik rods and it's hard to keep track.
I think this combo is too cheap for a baller like you 😁😁
@@MooMooOutdoors Ha! I'd like to think that Salmon or Lingcod would rather prefer the mucho rico combos more than the Ugly Stik but sadly that isn't the case. They all seem to be honed around your AI whenever you're on the water ;)
👍
😁😁
Nice stuff! 😀
Thanks 😁
Nice I just ordered the Alijoz super light reel
Enjoy it
I appreciate the video Moo! Through your vids I’m getting into and gearing up for Ocean Kayak fishing. Finding value without breaking the bank is key. I’m in the Sacramento area so Gas and Time are the big money hogs.
Yes, I too travel from Sac area. I mostly drive a small car to the salt to save money on gas.
Nice Moo. I got the MH GX2 and paired it with a KastKing line counter reel. Only used it a couple times and haven’t actually hooked a fish yet, but it seems to feel good and perform well
I haven't tried recent kastking models. Let me know how you like it.
This is great intel to have! Hopefully one day I can have nice gears like you to fish the ocean.
What are you talking about Mr. I use $500 Phenix Rod.
ZZZzzzzz….. Back in the yak wit-chu!!!
You don't think I rather be on the yak? 😢😢😁😁
Awesome review and good price. :)
Thanks. Great value.
👈👈Around the river I cooked delicious fish over the coals
I leash my rods when I'm on a kayak I usually only take 1 with me (2max)
I lost a really expensive combo once but was lucky that it was floating. Never going to make that mistake again.
I've lost one combo so far and my cousin lost one of mine. Glad it was a cheap combo 😂🤣
@@MooMooOutdoors I remember u almost lost one to a salmon 🤣
You know me I've seen knarly pics from n Korea and how they treat the woman ,just want you to be fine, Malibu cultivation organization
How many ounces can the gx2 rod handle while jigging for rockfish/lingcods? I have a bunch of lures/sinkers that are 6, 8, and 10 oz.
I've used up to 10 oz for jigging for lingcod, 16 oz for ball bouncing for halibut and 2.5 oz for salmon trolling. Hope this helps.
