Hot Water Music has been one of my favorite bands for 11 years now and I can't ever see that changing. Every song is either amazing or a classic. I don't know any other band that I can say that about.
+Thrashmetal6666 Yep, same here, I actually had no idea he was in HWM (had heard Trusty Chords but that's it) until my buddy told me and the more I listen to them the more I like them. Chuck has one of the best voices in punk in my opinion.
Same!! A friend is Savannah, GA tried to get me into to alkaline trio and hot water music back in ‘04 but I wasn’t having it. Found Chuck Ragan through fly fishing in. 2019 and now he is my lord and savior. Going to see hot water music Saturday 2/26/22 in ATL. Yes, I didn’t capitalize anything.
People who say this is too much like other songs or is way too similar to other bands need to understand that this group was releasing albums back in 1997 when most of the people in the bands you enjoy were like 7 years old.
In 2017 - I got colon cancer and my 3 year old son got type 1 diabetes...HWM was in my earbuds when I got out of that hospital bed and started walking up and down the halls...Some day Ill pass the band down to Braden.
HWM has matured. Vastly. We've all been in situations similar to yours -favorite band takes a turn. their "gist" is not what it used to be- And while your taste fails to appreciate, and, become enamored, in a sense, others, like myself, fully contort their tongues.
This was really ironic that I happened to watch this as I just finished reading "The Veldt" in school. It was a very good short story from an amazing author.
Can anyone explain what the last quote means? I know it is from Ray's Bradbury movie The Veldt, but what exactly does it reffer to? Thanks, great music and video
I think you'll find Brian Fallon to be quite a fan of Hot Water Music. He has also joined Chuck Ragan (the singer in this video) on his Revival Tour. Check it out, I'm sure you'll dig hard on it.
How come we don't see Chris until the final chorus, and even then it's only once? Chuck is awesome, but Chris is just as awesome and he should be shown more in this video
We had a children's syrup in my country called calpol...it was like sweet bubblegum flavoured syrup. Seriously could not get enough of that stuff, doubt it actually had any medicinal benefits cause it tasted too good to be medicine.
Oh, I for one may not shy, Away from the fact that I'm sick, And too tired to stand this, It all seems contagious. I know a few would back that up, Can't say a few is not enough, To skip a beat in this motion sickness. I'd second that emotion. Our state, Our state, Our state of grace is gone. Our state, Our state, Our state of grace is gone. Oh, I for one don't want to die, Old and in the way from poison. 'Cause I hate the taste of medicine, We all hate the taste of medicine. I know a few would back that up, Can't say a few is not enough, To skip a beat in this motion sickness. I'd second that emotion. Our state, Our state, Our state of grace is gone. Our state, Our state, Our state of grace is gone away. Our state of grace is crumbling, I fear we're good for nothing, And simply disintegrating into the terra firma. Our state, Our state, Our state of grace is gone. Our state, Our state, Our state of grace is gone. May we combine tradition, Science and innovation. To benefit what's ailing, Our state of grace is gone.
True its different sound and old fans may not like it but at lest there trying to change with the time there also geting older and mightn ot be able to put o nthe shows they use to this sound is still better then a lot of crap out there now days
The you sure listen to a lot of scene bands, get into better shit; listen to slowcore, post-punk and traditional pop punk bands; Hot water music is hands down the most talented band on rise.
I knew him in Valrico Florida, I saw him in Hamburg Germany when he played with "Suicidal Tendencies". He was the same person every time an absolute 210% all day every day guy. He in my heart will always be truck. No matter how he may be in a bad situation He is faced with he knows he will make it......get some rest. Be good to yourself....
the ending is weird, i guess cuz they are shining lights throughout the whole thing at the people, and then he goes out to a bright shining sun. Sometimes the sun isnt bright like that, so it still seems unrealistic.
Have you even took a second to look at my likes? I LOVE heavy metal, and all of the harsh vocals in it. I'm just saying I don't like a lot of the pop/punk/hardcore bands on this label, a lot of them don't deserve to be called "Metal". Also, just because a band has screaming doesn't mean it's better or more talented.
brings back so many memories. lol my mom tried to kill me for putting Hot Water stickers all over her car windows. I wish I could take my boy back 12 years to some shows with me.

I grew up with Wollard. I never really got into Hot Water though until recently. And now, after all these years, I really appreciate their music!
I got into Chuck's music backwards, started with his solo stuff and worked my way back to Hot Water Music, but I really like this stuff.
+Thrashmetal6666 Yep, same here, I actually had no idea he was in HWM (had heard Trusty Chords but that's it) until my buddy told me and the more I listen to them the more I like them. Chuck has one of the best voices in punk in my opinion.
Fuel For The Hate Game to Caution, all gold. Enjoy. This band is a punk rock gem, along with Propaghandi.
Haha me too. Me too

same!
This stuff is still genuine!
Love them since 2000
It's hard to find music that is this genuine. This is 100.
this guy has the coolest voice
Chuck 🤘🤘
This is the greatest song. That voice.
16 years later, Chuck's still got it.
These guys have the tightest rhythm section in punk music...period.
Been listening to this band for about 15 years. I still love their music as much as the first time I heard them. In my top 5. Great stuff.
Rock on Nurses, Docs, and all other healthcare workers!!!
the video message is a bit vague to me... but I will tell you chemotherapy saved my life...still love HWM! listened to them every session!
This band is amazing !!!!!
Can’t help but feel every song I come across is somehow related to Corona Virus. Such a good tune.
Not sure how or why I'm just now hearing this band. I love it! Just now hearing them...3 days AFTER they perform near me. Figures, lol!
lol, ur the only comment not from forever ago
@@celesgould1819 I know. Clearly I'm behind the times.
Mfw my 1st hwm show was in 1995!!
Man this band is awesome...the voice of the dude...👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘
This is my First time Listening to Hot Water Music. Best decision I've ever made.
Well yes that is so true. If someone doesn't broaden their horizons in music their going to miss out on good stuff.
THis is a great song got an old school sound to it :)
People who say this is too much like other songs or is way too similar to other bands need to understand that this group was releasing albums back in 1997 when most of the people in the bands you enjoy were like 7 years old.
this sounds so good! I need this record.
In 2017 - I got colon cancer and my 3 year old son got type 1 diabetes...HWM was in my earbuds when I got out of that hospital bed and started walking up and down the halls...Some day Ill pass the band down to Braden.
one of the best music videos i've seen in a long time, great job
Great band, dope track.
love this band i first ever crowed surfed at there show and i know every song they have out most fun shows to go to
All music is art, valued differently in the ears of the listener. BOOM
It's great to see older blokes still in the Music Industry and it's not just us Gen Y fellas or older over ruling it haha :D
I'm pretty sure this was shot at the Glass House in Pomona not too long ago. My first time seeing them live.
the bassist of this band jason also plays in senses fail, hwm are all talented dudes.

Scary heavy metal intro scene, happy poppy sounding intro to song.....like a space shuttle blasting off to Dallas
Good music..makes me feel alive...
the hwm show in seattle starts in about 16 hrs. yay!
Great band!
Absolutely killer. There is only one Hot Water Music.
Been a fan since punk o rama times and their wayfarer song!
I think you'll find Brian Fallon to be quite a fan of Hot Water Music. He has also joined Chuck Ragan (the singer in this video) on his Revival Tour. Check it out, I'm sure you'll dig hard on it.
Vocals sound like Bad Religion. This is a great band and I'm really glad I stumbled onto them
I'm picking up what you're putting down...I'm thinking it's like if Eddie Vedder sang for Bad Religion.
If you like this, then check my band Hyperdriver's first single from our coming EP.hyperdriverband.bandcamp.com/track/something-for-nothing-single
How come we don't see Chris until the final chorus, and even then it's only once? Chuck is awesome, but Chris is just as awesome and he should be shown more in this video
I know this has been said several times already, but he sounds quite similar to M. Shadows. It's awesome.
I came here from the video for Turn To Hate by Defeat The Low, and let me just say that so far I'm impressed with this band!
I feel special for knowing about this band.
We had a children's syrup in my country called calpol...it was like sweet bubblegum flavoured syrup. Seriously could not get enough of that stuff, doubt it actually had any medicinal benefits cause it tasted too good to be medicine.
It is 2018 and i am listening this amazing band first time!
I love this song!
It's good to see that rise has been branching out
This is great
Brian helps chuck write some songs and vice versa hence why their more recent stuff is similar. and brian is a huge hwm fan
on rise records? impossibbbrrrreeeewwww!!!!
both really fricken good
Check out the entire album, it's pretty slick.

Such a good record. What type of guitar is Chuck using? Looks mighty familiar.
True its different sound and old fans may not like it but at lest there trying to change with the time there also geting older and mightn ot be able to put o nthe shows they use to this sound is still better then a lot of crap out there now days
why do all their videos make me sad i love their music
And why am I just finding this band?
AWESOME!!!
20 years strong!! Best BAND EVER!!!!
Which super power would you rather have. Flight, Invisibility or Chuck Raegan's voice.
This band is just as underrated as alkaline trio
Hot Water Music... underrated?
Nah, everyone knows they're the undisputed torchbearers of the scene.
It's like punk grew up, but stayed just as great as it used to be.
theyre back.

What genre would you call this?
Yep
the ending is weird, i guess cuz they are shining lights throughout the whole thing at the people, and then he goes out to a bright shining sun. Sometimes the sun isnt bright like that, so it still seems unrealistic.
well I didnt know that. Now that I do I respect them
I loled at this..
nice!

And music without breakdowns, too!
not da kind dat i be sippin homie :)
totally agree -.-
Nice paragraph, but I was talking about the other bands on this record, not HWM.
So glad I haven't lost The Sense.
37 People Were Expecting Screaming And Breakdowns Lmao
"I hate the taste of medicine,
WE ALL HATE THE TASTE OF MEDICINE!!!"
Anyone know any good screamo bands?
why does this not have a fucking shit load of views? it's hot water music for christ's sake
and that means?
All i'm saying is that Rise is usually for post-hardcore/Metalcore bands. And it's definitely not all "music".
Thank you for signing a band that doesn't have generic breakdowns and shitty shiny high pitched vocals.
i downloaded i tunes just for this.
guh. i wish hwm had a good video. seriously, my favorite band, but they just don't get videos.
The production reminds me of Von Hertzen Brothers.
In other words, the space shuttle went from Houston to Dallas, going nowhere fast
got to admit gaslight are amazing. but they sound like hwm not the other way round. give him that at least
neat!
ain't that the truth man. Used to be a big minus the bear fan.... but their last few albums kinda blew. Still gotta support the one you love though.
cool :)
They are an example of real and honest music, but no one needs this music, everyone wants songs about gucci gang and other shit
Fuck, 8 Years, So prophetic.
