Thanks so much for following along! Remec is a solid player...hope he can continue to work on a couple of these things so he can continue taking the governor up and get up to cruising 120 or so CHS on course. He's got it in him.
Your one of the best coaches I've seen online, all the great things my coach has done for my swing I see you teach in your videos and it brings me joy to know I can now recognise the difference between a good swing coach and a coach that creates content.
Thanks so much for the kind words! We'll keep doing our best to provide great content and live coaching. ...If I can ever be of further help to you in learning to Swing Like an Athlete, please do check out my website at milolinesgolf.com for in-person or online lessons, golf schools, or to become a member of my Online Academy.
Brilliant, I love the high level teaching using feels. Too many coaches don’t appreciate this, they’re teaching positions etc etc, drives me crazy. Human beings are intuitive first and technical second, bravo Milo, great teaching 👏👏
Great lesson to watch. Milo Lines is so good at identifying swing tendencies but more importantly articulating the fix in a meaningful digestible way for the golfer. These vids are so helpful.
Hey Milo. I watched this video a few times and went to the range today concentrating on simply getting my chest through effortlessly. I could not believe how that improved the quality of my ball striking as well as a little more distance. Then I got tired (I'm 65) lol. Thank you so much for this video. You are meant to teach golf. My wife and I used to visit my father in law in Mesa before he passed away. Beautiful area. Keep teaching!
I’ve been really struggling with my ability to hit the ball with any confidence as of late. I have stumbled upon some of your videos and tried to incorporate the dropping down and around with not much success. Watching this video has created the proverbial “light bulb” moment. Attempting the drill without the left wrist staying pronated spells disastrous. On behalf of me and I’m sure many others, thank you so much for this eye opening video.
Thanks for watching! As always, it's hard for me to give the best feedback on here without seeing people's swings. Simply trying to incorporate a feel on here can be tough, but with one-on-one help I can offer better advice on your best matchups. If I can help any further, do reach out or check out my online academy at milolinesgolf.com.
This was great to see you instruct! Also, the initial difficulty with the driver was so relatable. That is 100% me! So it was good to see what you recommended to get things working a little better. I can be smoking the irons but low bunty hooks with no spin with driver.
This is so good. Thanks for sending the link. I still think my best bet is an in-person lesson. I was so close... Eagle Mountain a couple weeks ago, but you were in San Diego. We'll keep piecing it together one FaceTime lesson at a time
I tried doing this before, but just couldn’t make it click until today. The driver is still going to take a little bit of figuring out, but the irons are super salty! Thank you so much and hoping to make it out to Arizona someday for a lesson. Keep it coming! Thank you.
Loved this vid. This the exact problem I’ve been having hooky irons and block slice driver been driving me nuts saved this so I can always come back to it
Ive found that with a slower speed than im capable of i drive the ball further with this method through impact - im a player of the 90's of quiet hips and shoulder turn, i never felt in control of the club face!
Great footage. I’m a fan of your videos. I would love to see the hand path after contact is made with the ball. It seems to me if I were to have the hand path go to left and low the club head will stay wide open. Again thanks for the video. Thoughts?
Could be, yes. But in our testing it wasn't our favorite as both Henry and I go past it and the material and mold wasn't aligned great for us. The premise is good though.
Hey Milo first time commenting, I’ve enjoy your videos for a long time, I’ve wanting to ask a question, do you teach only rotation of the body with no active hand action. (throwing) something I saw in this video, I’m 62 and my rotation I don’t think is vert fast but I average 100 mph swing speed but I throw the club around the corner along with my body rotation, can I get any faster? 8 handicap.
I do not teach a handless, armless golf swing haha. Many of my videos in fact talk about using the hands and wrists, but it's different than maybe some. Training the hands and wrists is very important and helps in accompanying the pivot. I work with golfers of all levels and find the best matchups for them and find good movement in almost all folks. Have you looked into coming to see me or joining my online academy? milolinesgolf.com
Did you have him hit fades with driver because of the knuckle balls he was hitting with the new changes? Or because its just a more natural shot shape with driver overall? Just curious. Swing looks great and he is really good at taking instruction so that must be nice. Haha.
He likes a little fade, plus I find with modern equipment it's the easiest shot to consistently hit with today's drivers. Remec has a solid move and has been around the block for sure!
@1:20 Milo-"What's your shot shape?" Student-"Right now it's like a block/slice with my driver and irons I get like a pull/hook." Sounds exactly like me! All over the place! Ha! Lets face it golf is frigging hard!
Great video but I don’t understand why didn’t you just strengthen his left hand grip? Moving the grip stronger a half knuckle or knuckle isn’t that big of a change, right?
He's already a good player and has had that grip for a long time. If he can accommodate that grip with the matchups we discussed in the video he'll be well on his way, but he certainly could move it a bit stronger at some point if he feels the need.
Students don't like it when you mess with their hands or feet. They use their hands and feet to feel. Even a small change in those two areas (feel) is difficult for the student to wrap their head around. I agree with Milo in general favor a strong grip. However, ultimately the student must discover for themselves where their left hand should be placed on the club. Henry Picard and Hogan were close friends. As we all know, Hogan was struggling with a hook early in his career. Pic suggested Ben go to a weaker left hand position on the club to offset the amount of counterclockwise rotation of the club face Hogan generated on his DS. Pic believed where the left hand should be placed on the club is going to be different for each student based on how much counterclockwise rotation of the club face they produced on the downswing.
Seems like his takeaway is a little disconnected ? Kinda lifts with his arms a bit instead of engaging the core ? Better as he progressed. Milo ? Enjoy seeing the progression!
Having the face too closed on the way down seems like it can be tough to recover from as well though. It would be nice to hear how that can be ok. It was mentioned that you can “release it totally different” I believe. But I don’t see how. I think you’d just have to rotate even more open. Which there are limits to how much flexibility that may involve right?
Interesting watching a lesson where an incremental change is made. Remec does a lot right (like I would know) but this small out of position moment created so many problems.
I did not like your shorts videos that only showed exaggerated moves. Now the full video makes sense. Personally the high to low to high is great for tee shots but I don’t use it on irons as I just club up. That move on the tight lies and me don’t get along well. Sitting up is fine. Noce video.
Thanks for having me out coach 👊
Always welcome pro!
Please show the on course video PLEASE 🙏🏼
Impressive, I could see the change from the start to end. Congrats!
What was the change to enable 1500 spin to 2200? I’m a low spin player myself but do have some speed
@@tiubster Just watched this today. They increased the loft on his driver and moved the ball forward.
I love working videos with skilled golfers from my favorite instructor.

He's not afraid of exaggerated feels and this is why he will nail the changes. I know he will put that work in. Love seeing people work on their game
For sure, he's a student of the game!
Best lesson I’ve seen. Helped to have a student who was good enough to quickly make the changes. Great stuff here.
Thanks for watching!
The move he put on those last few drives was world class👌🍻
Some good pokes at the end, yes!

Phenomenal instruction Milo.
Thanks so much!
Are you saying to hold wrist angles and let the turn square it up because the wrists will unload anyway?
More or less, I feel the release as more so a byproduct.

It's a very useful lesson but not easy , thanks ! bro..
Making change is rarely easy.

@@MiloLinesGolf I agree Milo I found it good for irons but ruined my driver swing 🤷♂️
@ceoofgolf what was your driver loft when you started vs when you finished the lesson. Thanks

Never said it was easy haha.
Strengthen the grip with the driver and neutral the grip with the irons.
Hi Milo, towards the end of the video you mentioned to throw the driver around, is that applicable to the irons as well? Best Regards, Joe
Possibly depending on the shot you’re intending to hit.
Is the club face closed the whole time??

i am a beginner ive tried many times but does not work . may i practice this skill still? thank you
Have I seen your swing? I'd be happy to help you more in learning to Swing Like an Athlete! Here's my online program: swinglikeanathlete.com
Is the wrist flex the key
In his case needing some more flexion in that lead wrist with his grip will help the face and impact conditions in my opinion, yes.
question: What sort of rangeballs do you use? Because you indicating spin =2200. Do rangeballs not spin more?
These are Pro V1x balls
Seems like his takeaway is a little disconnected ? Kinda lifts with his arms a bit instead of engaging the core ? Better as he progressed. Milo ?
Enjoy seeing the progression!
He's been working a bit more on standing the club up in the takeaway, we discussed this a bit during the lesson as well.
@@MiloLinesGolf- thanks, do remember him saying that in the beginning.
Good eye 👍 I agree
Question how many knuckles Of the left hand, do you recommend seeing?
Depends on the player, but here is a good video on my grip preferences: ruclips.net/video/FkxERRoW59o/видео.html
You also mentioned during your lesson the feel you have in your right hand what did you mean by that comment
Keeping the face stable and also creating optimal loft through wrist conditions.
We aren't training to get the face too closed, we are training it to get more square because it was open before.
If someone did that drill a few times a week instead of playing golf for a year… handicaps would drop immediately
Nice video
Thanks for watching!

Face first!
Never a bad place to start.
Why do you set up entirely differently from what you intend to do? Is there a reason for it? Seems like highly unnecessary complication to me
I'm not sure I follow your comment here. Can you please elaborate.
Ops sorry, I meant very not vert 😂
His irons feels so short.
Like as in the distance they are going, or length of the club relative to his big frame?
@@MiloLinesGolf length.
I get the best results feeling like after a squat I keep my hands in front of my belt buckle 🫤 is that kind of right 🤔 🙏 great stuff btw 👏
