Hey Daniel, thank you for this!
I have an interview tomorrow with a company who shifted the position title from "Copywriter" to "MarCom Manager" and have definitely been a bit nervous.
Like yourself, I'm much more creative and influential than I am analytical, so hearing more about the position is extremely exciting.

Hope the interview went well.
From my perspective (just one), marcom is a wider ranging set of functionalities than copywriting. Although I'm sure you'll find some copywriter who will disagree with that.
I'd be wary of a potential employer changing the goalposts. Or at least make sure that compensation has shifted appropriately if the role has been widened in scope.
