Just pointing out #7 for nurses the summary you listed on screen is for post graduate degrees. Nurse anesthetist, nurse midwife and nurse practitioners are all masters or doctoral degrees. That high salary reflects those not a bachelor’s degree nurse.
Thanks for this! I’ve been wanting to push into a more creative space and currently I work as a remote call center agent. Very interesting that AI is taking over the call center work, even for customer service. There’s so many prompts even before one gets to a live person when you phone in for something, if you get to a live person.
I still don't know why the statistics for nurse anesthetist and nurse practitioner is highlighted in the nurse section. Those advanced nursing practices require 2-3 more years after nursing school. An RN and nurse anesthetist are two different duties.
Your video is so misleading. For example, you refer to Registered Nurses yet show data for nurse anesthetists and nurse practitioners… those jobs are not the same as an RN. Another example is you say “home health aides” yet give information about occupational therapists lol
Thank you so much for this video! I am currently studying Python on my own time and wasn't sure if I wanted to become a developer. While watching your video, the number 13 which was talking about QA Software Tester really resonated with me. I looked into it and this is the path I am going to take after mastering the basics in Python! I come from avionics (aviation electronics) and had some assembly software training(very old and complicated language) foundation and now knowing that I can TEST software that is being developed fits perfectly for me because I used to do tests on systems on airplanes and I love finding bugs and making recommendations! Thanks again, your video just changed the course of my life!

The QA Tester role is dying (I'm a Test Manager of 11 years), because all manual testing is done by business resources. I'm currently in a global Scania project as Test Manager (replacing their HR systems in 64 countries) and all our 200+ testers are HR Specialists that we borrow on 50% from their daily HR jobs to perform SIT and UAT. They have no previous IT or test experience, that's what my role is for. If you want to job in QA, you need to look into the Test Automation area (which is exploding since 5-6 years). I know many previous QA Testers that all switched to Test Automation, Test Manager or other IT roles over the last 8 years because there is no work for "manual testers" anymore. Test Automation Engineers are the future of QA.
So True! I got into Manual QA last year and a year (recently) I got let go because they wanted to hire an Automation Tester and I was the newest manual tester, so I got the boot. I was looking for another Manual QA job because coding is not for me and those jobs are no longer available. Even for Jr. QA positions, require you to know how to code. I'm having to change careers again :(
@@piesanguinettips what are you planning to do? Currently I'm working as a manual tester, even I'm looking for change. it would be helpful if you give any advice to me
The kind of QA tester that makes high 5 figures / low 6 figures is automation engineers that can create scripts and tools that deal with the program’s API and backend. The kind of QA that just use the program like a user are not in demand, and when they are in demand unskilled QA makes fast food wages.

Some of conclusion of this video might be true but when I approaching the top three most demanded job, I kind of feel the percentage of this growing number is distorted. Actually , the percentage was affected by the base number. When the base number of this job demands is low, the growing percentage will tend to be higher. You actually have to compare the base number when you mention their demand growing percentage from the website otherwise it won’t make sense…
I have been a Registered nurse for over 30 years and that rate of pay is pure BS. I have talked to 100's of nurse in my life NONE make that kind of money.
Over my lifetime, I've seen many such "jobs of the future" lists. They are alway wrong, and this list is no different. (No 'predictor' pays a penalty for being wrong on this. Note that, for example, Meta laid off 10 thousand or so, so did Twitter, and I suppose other techs have and are hiding it.)
Thank you so much for this! A few months ago I was going to choose pharmacy for my career but I realised that I literally hate chemistry 😅 so I didn't choose pharmacy. Now I'm going for IT engineering instead
I am contemplating a slight change in career - or I could say that I am at crossroads where one path can take me to be a UX designer and another to be a Business Analyst. Which one of these do you think has more potential for the future?
I don't know anything about both fields but logically if you need to be a business analyst I think you need to follow global and local political and business news. Where as for UX designer knowing that news is just an advantage not compulsory.
Somehow these business videos became my business 😂 Thanks for involving me into this culture, now I can get so much new things and explore more, new ideas, strategies and tips from smart people!

Great ideas in this video. Thanks so much! You mention that there are short courses for QA testers that prepare people for work in this field. Are there certain ones that either you or somebody on this thread might consider better value or better quality than others?
This is a great list, however I'm confused about the home health aide median salary being $60,000. I have a friend who has been working in that industry for years and I don't think she even makes $15 an hour. The internet says in my state 27 k is the median salary for home health aides. Maybe there are two different professions with similar titles? These are people who take care of the elderly and disabled in their home and then get paid less than minimum wage most of the time, much like childcare workers. It's very important work, very very hard work but no one values it and treats them properly. Maybe there's another similar job where they actually do get paid but I don't know. I feel like if that existed then everyone I've met in that profession would be switching.
Machine learning engineering is actually quite an over saturated field at the moment. Often you need a PhD to enter this sort of position, and even then, jobs are quite competitive.
I mean, Watch repairers will probably be still in need in the future, considering all the regular watches that are still being sold for status, hobby or investment. There are companies that specify on flower delivery, I still guess they need people who do the work nonetheless. The list is pretty interesting, it's just funny that your explanations are sometimes pretty basic and superficial.

You forgot social workers. The need for social workers have been increasing for the past few years especially with therapist and the rise of mental health awareness.
I agree with someone else comment below that the info you gave on home health aids and nurses salaries are far from accurate. In the US the title of home health aid refers to a nursing assistant, and their salary is much lower than 60, 000 a year, probably around 30,000 or less. They have a certification achievable in 6-8 weeks. Then there are other home health services that include physical therapy, occupational therapy, these can be broken down to the lower level of PT or OT technician ( about 2 years college) or actual physical therapist (master all the way to a PHD), so the difference in salaries span greatly. Then for nurses, I have been a nurse for 8 years and just this year hit 73,000. You must be looking at nurse practitioner salaries, because the average salary of a registered nurse is far lower from 120,000.
Whether you like it or hate it, within the next 10 years, Im gonna throw a wild guess and say atleast over 50% of the population will be working in Tech and development. After all, Tech is the 4th Industrial revolution. If youre not in tech, youre as good as gone

Unfortunately for someone, anything that pays under 75k a year is not a salary. I'd be embarrassed if I thought I could pay someone even less than 50k a year as a salary. And in today's world with more money being printed constantly, it's no longer acceptable. You'd have to pay at least 75k minimum. Otherwise, why go to college? Just so that I could spend the next 30 years paying off that student loan. if you are single 75k would have to be the minimum.
If you are going to mention home health aides you need to enter "Home Health Aides" or "Certified Nurse Assistants" into the BLS, NOT "Occupational Therapy". You are drawing the wrong data for this generalized job description you mentioned..Just trying to give constructive criticism : )
