WeAreSevendust I agree. 311 is just a unique band with a unique fan base. My family is celebrating Independence Day with 311 in Indy. Outdoor venue and it's a concert for cancer. It's gonna be a kick ass time and a beautiful day.
If I am not mistaken that's actually where the band name comes from. If you go through billboard toppers throughout the years a majority of them are 3:11 long and that's how the band name was decided. no cites, has been heard through the grapevine but more than just a few times.
I politely disagree with you Nick. the way you speak of' Too much to Think' presents a negative connotation, and I do not believe 311 has ANY songs that aren't good to some degree or other. And I personally love the inebriated insinuative put off from the song, and it's style is perfectually 311.
I wouldn't say "too much to think" _sucks_. But it is, IMO, a bit poplike and not as interesting as especially "Too Late" which is 311's best song in a very long time.
Too Much To Think is OK. And it's fine to not really dig a track by your favorite artist. Fans are allowed. I think we can all agree that the video for TMTT is bad
My thoughts exactly - there's something going on here I haven't heard in 15+ years from the lads. I think a lot has to do with John Feldmann being in the studio.
I've been a fan since the beginning it's an evolution and it's wonderful going back and listening to other albums, you don't compare them to one another each one finds a special place in your heart, no one can hold a candle to them, keep rocking guys!
Stereolithic already took that spot for me. I can already say this won't top Stereolithic for me, it's too all over the place. I think Stereolithic was the perfect mix and length, but I can detect already there's going to be a lot of "skippable" tracks on this one. I already have to skip the first track (not that it's bad, but it gets old quick). I don't think I skip a single track on Stereolithic ever!
Not sure why you would compare it to Evolver, that was ages ago. And I felt Stereolithic pretty much was the new 311 sound; Friday Afternoon, Made In The Shade and Boom Shanka alone were huge deviations from their sound. And Tranquility to boot. Maybe it's because they were working with a lot of old demos or something at the time. This "new" sound basically feels like another attempt at the pop-rock big-time that they attempted with Uplifter. Wish I could be more excited about it...
@@larsfaye292 When Stereolithic first leaked, someone said "it's like Soundsystem and Transistor had a baby, and it's awesome! ". I agree. My favorite albums.
Met 311 in dallas in 1995, was the best day ever, smoked some dank I grew with Nick, Chad, and P-Nut. Was a kick ass day! Free tickets, on the rail at the show. WOW!! Those dudes are super friendly. Chad said, "I love you man" and hugged me before they left to go get ready for the show. And we had literally just ran up on their bus 6 hours before the show!
Loving the bass line! 311 has been my favorite band since getting the Music album from my cousin in 1995... got the 311 logo tat on my arm and never a regret. Keep it up another 30 years guys!
Those two little dubstep stutters in the last half of the song made me hold my breath for a second but this is awesome. Can't wait for the rest of the album!
20 years ago, I started playing drums, because of Chad Sexton, and my friend who introduced me to them, Cody, and Enlarged To Show Detail. Here we all are, 20 years later, All Original, still intact. What a Beautiful Disast.....thing.😊
311 will never disappoint! so fucking stoked about the album, these three songs, Hey Yo and Island Sun at 311 day....where can they go from there...jesus. 311 forever! Stay positive and love your life!
There's a 125% chance that I will become obsessed with Mosaic by the end of the day. Been a big fan since I was 11-12. Now I'm 34! Crazy how they keep sounding fresh. "Place That the Mind Goes" is so sexy, too.
Holy crap. 311 is really mixing it up. A bit "poppier-sounding" but also more powerful. I dig it. I will miss the Stereolithic style but this is fresh as fuck. Kill it 311.
311 wrote a P.O.D song. I've been a fan since 94. I fell off of them after From Chaos. They were my first concert. The sound system tour, October 16th 1999. Huge 311 fan here! First time I heard this song I surprisingly wasn't that into it. Listened to it a second time I felt a groove. Third time I listened to it and I fucking love it!!! I can't wait for MOSAIC!!!! THANK YOU 311!!!! Every album gets better since 1993!!!
This band what can I say. From Chaos to present represent! I agree with comment below. They are elite. People its nice to see a page on RUclips where everyone just remains positive. Music in general is a force for good and that's what 311 has a always stood for. Keep the fire burning...

GREAT SHOW , HARTFORD CT JULY 14 2019!!! Thank You!!! Glad someone can still ROCK OUT!!! GREAT BAND !!! Total unity within band! Awesome!!! LONG LIVE 311!!!
Man all you people being surprised at SA during the chorus have never heard the Ghostwolf album. That's some straight Ghostwolf SA vocals. Love that it bled into 311 a bit.
Awesome. Just found this. I am a bit behind one of my favorite bands of all time. Best concert was in ATL 2010's. They played Grassroots and Music straight through back to back. Look it up. It was an anniversary show and I was in the pit MF's!!!!!
Love love love this song!!!! Can someone confirm this is Davey featured in the chorus? What a voice... Love me some AFI! But 311 will always belong to my heart....
Please never stop making music. Can't nobody do it like 311.
Best live band on earth
F*cking up competition cause there really is NONE
Hey they're still making music....
I'm proud that my oldest favorite band is performing at an elite level to this day...
Every song I have heard on this album has been soooo good.
Jp Prater TOOL
Word to that
WeAreSevendust I agree. 311 is just a unique band with a unique fan base. My family is celebrating Independence Day with 311 in Indy. Outdoor venue and it's a concert for cancer. It's gonna be a kick ass time and a beautiful day.
Randal Harris I agree but latest album by tool was in 2006.
I’ll forever consider this song the ‘new age’ Down. Absolute masterpiece from an incredible album.
Every 311 song needs to be 3:11.
Perfect.
This is excellent.
OMG
same...compression matters I think lol
Perfect mistake?
If I am not mistaken that's actually where the band name comes from. If you go through billboard toppers throughout the years a majority of them are 3:11 long and that's how the band name was decided. no cites, has been heard through the grapevine but more than just a few times.
Scot Michie lol 🤣
HOLY SHIT! 311 FOR LIFE!
Off the chain. This album is going to be amazing.
"We'll make you feel like a child again and again."
Damn straight, S.A.
You guys always do.
311 is the reason I have faith in people even after all of the bullshit OTHER people have put me through
Matt Maulding good for you man. 👍🏻
I am so fucking proud that this is my favorite band. Over twenty five years, and they're still delivering quality music.
Blows my mind after literally hundreds of songs. Still able to pull rabbits outta hats like this 💥😊
June 23 can't come soon enough man!!!!!
this should be on extreme rotation on every rock radio station nationwide.
It almost has an alternative metal sound...this song is raw af
T-minus 13 days!! Mosaic is going to absolutely rock!!!
I mostly like 311's 90s work, but this is my favorite song by them.
Pnuts bass is very prominent, as it always is, but there's something about it on these songs that just sounds different and fresh
Pretty good, better than "too much to think" without any doubt. I hope the sound of this and especially "too late" represents the album more.
nick supreme and yet Too much to a Think is fantastic
Well no, not IMO. It's easily the worst out of the 3 new releases. But since the other two are damn good it most likely will not matter.
I politely disagree with you Nick. the way you speak of' Too much to Think' presents a negative connotation, and I do not believe 311 has ANY songs that aren't good to some degree or other. And I personally love the inebriated insinuative put off from the song, and it's style is perfectually 311.

311 is my Wyld Stallyns.
Be excellent to each other and Party on!!
Yessssssss
this song is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This one has been on replay everyday. not gonna stop till I know every word
Definitely hear Davey Havok in this.
Just love it. It is just 311 being 311 and I love it.
From a scale from 1 to 10 I give this epic jam a 311👌✌🔥👽🍺💙💙💙💙💙💙👽👽👽👽👽💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙👽👽
Man I am thinkin this album is gonna be seriously special
My thoughts exactly - there's something going on here I haven't heard in 15+ years from the lads. I think a lot has to do with John Feldmann being in the studio.

Based on what we've heard so far, this sounds like it's going to be the best 311 album since Soundsystem.
Stereolithic already took that spot for me. I can already say this won't top Stereolithic for me, it's too all over the place. I think Stereolithic was the perfect mix and length, but I can detect already there's going to be a lot of "skippable" tracks on this one. Lars Faye no way this is deff better. 311 was do for a new sound and this is it better than ever evolve
Not sure why you would compare it to Evolver, that was ages ago. 311 is the greatest of all time
Future funk and god damn that chorus... FIRE
That chorus is pure delight.
This album gets better each time I listen to it.

@ Trees, right?
Good lord! This track is fire.
love the mashup. dubrock, slamjam, dancehall. 311 is the most original
Loving the bass line! 311 has been my favorite band since getting the Music album from my cousin in 1995... got the 311 logo tat on my arm and never a regret. Keep it up another 30 years guys!
dear God stop it, my ears can only get so excited
My dog's b-day is on 311 day. I'm uploading a karaoke on this song just for my doggy.
Thankyou Crew.
Still jamming 311!!!!!! I love you guys! Been rocking 311 since like 1994, anyone else with me??
i hear this band from the beginnings. A few days ago i realized my kids are growing up with 311 too. And they love it, thanks!
Fuckin up Competition cuz there really is none! 311, always a breath of fresh air in the Rock genre.
This song gives me the Chills!!! I NEED this album like yesterday!!
Jesus Christ that sound change at 1:14 OMG I fucking love that 311 intensity!
In the last year the 90's best bands...311, RHCP, and Incubus have come out STRONG with new albums.
Those two little dubstep stutters in the last half of the song made me hold my breath for a second but this is awesome. Can't wait for the rest of the album!
Cody Ross That's not dubstep. It's two step industrial garage crate lift electronica.
Darth Hole explaining what that was longer than the duration of its use in the song, although I'm all for calling it what is, 311
Fuck to the yes. You've done it again boys. Now.... let me get my hands on that album!!
cool song!!! think this album will turn out to be one of the best 311 albums yet. been a fan since the 90s
jota830 relax. They are still a decent band, but none of the New stuff holds a candle to the old or mid years
well.. now it's time to listen to this song on repeat till i have it memorized
Fuck yeah! 311 forever!!
This song slaps. Mosaic goes hard.
I love all types of 311 but the heavy rockin rappin swagger filled is the 311 i love best
20 years ago, I started playing drums, because of Chad Sexton, and my friend who introduced me to them, Cody, and Enlarged To Show Detail. Here we all are, 20 years later, All Original, still intact. What a Beautiful Disast.....thing.😊

311 forever! Stay positive and love your life!
I love it when Nick & SA harmonize!
I cant stop rockin to this track. so good
There's a 125% chance that I will become obsessed with Mosaic by the end of the day. Been a big fan since I was 11-12. Now I'm 34! Crazy how they keep sounding fresh. "Place That the Mind Goes" is so sexy, too.
thank you 311. This album is gonna be a quake maker. i cant fucking wait.
Please more SA songs, I hope there's a few more on the album.
The songs released so far from this album has been surprisingly refreshing to listen to. I can't wait!
"too late" is epic
This is their best album since transistor imo
Awesome Old and New School Mix. That first bass and drums verse smacks of Faith No More's Epic.
This album is like 311 reborn. It’s great!!!
Holy crap. 311 is really mixing it up. A bit "poppier-sounding" but also more powerful. I dig it. I will miss the Stereolithic style but this is fresh as fuck. Kill it 311.
Mosaic is the best of Uplifter mixed with the best of Stereolithic, and is a great listening experience.
311 wrote a P.O.D song.
I've been a fan since 94.
I fell off of them after From Chaos.
They were my first concert.
The sound system tour, October 16th 1999.
I was in their fan club, and they played in my city two nights in a row.
The first night was for people who purchased tickets, the next night was for their fan club, three months prior they mailed every member two free tickets.
Such a cool as bunch of dudes, even their crowds are full of some of the best people I've ever watched a live show with.
I made friends with four complete strangers that night.
Guys I'm diggin this style a lot. I love the direction you guys are heading!
If you listening to this song in 2021 your officially a legned
Huge 311 fan here! First time I heard this song I surprisingly wasn't that into it. Listened to it a second time I felt a groove. Third time I listened to it and I fucking love it!!! I can't wait for MOSAIC!!!! THANK YOU 311!!!! Every album gets better since 1993!!!
Reminds me of "Visit"...same driving rhythm/rapping in the verses and the soaring chorus. Love it.
Again!!!! If this song doesn't give you goose bumps, I don't what will!! \m/
311 on that old school flow.Loving all the new songs so far \m/
'all those days that youre wasting away
there is no one to blame
it's a perfect mista-ake'
Heavy stuff!! Mosaic will kick ass
This album could be a bigger blockbuster than the Blue album if DJ's and radios give them serious rotation. I'm calling it - timestamp: 6/12/17
311 20 plus year's together and still keeps rocking never stop guys your music mean the world to me
WOW! Love this.
god damn!
SA sounds amazing on this track..
one of their finest 👌✌
This song saved my life. I wasted 7yrs. There's a rapper down w/ Nas who was incarcerated for that long. So I'm blessed. Prisms not prison© Thanks 311 for being positive.
This band what can I say. From Chaos to present represent! I agree with comment below. They are elite. People its nice to see a page on RUclips where everyone just remains positive. Music in general is a force for good and that's what 311 has a always stood for. Keep the fire burning...
