I feel like 311 is one of the most unappreciated bands ever, but in reality they are the GREATEST!!!!!!!

Cody Comeaux let's hear it for Mahoney and Martinez on this entire album. They're really my favorite parts of the 311 sound. They're such a better band when those two get more screen time
I love every member of 311 like family, but there's something about SA and Mahoney in particular that just whispers to me that they're exceedingly beautiful people.

Stereolithic was bad ass too. 311 is on top of their game and im so happy about it. some bands become stale after 25 years. they have a muse of some sort that keeps them making beautiful music!

311 is a gift that keeps giving, love it!

Almost 2 years later, this song still is no doubt an all time great. On my first play through on the album, after I listened to this song, I instantly knew it was one of the best songs of all time. I then proceeded to just repeat the song about 20 times before I moved on to the rest. Never in my life on the first listen of a song have I thought it was a masterpiece. The last half of mosaic is stacked with awesome songs too, so after moving on, I was just stoked as hell about face in the wind -- then on top of that it delivered more dope songs. But that immediate realization that this song was something special was sort of a surreal experience. That memory comes to mind every time I listen to this song. Makes this song stand apart from everything else.
And i just have to say Tim Mahoney is severely underrated and underappreciated by the guitar community. His solos are so expressive and show you don't have to shred (and I love shred, as a guitarist my whole 35 year life) to be a phenomenal guitarist. And I know he can play fast when he wants to, because he does. He really strikes a chord and writes amazing riffs to boot.

INCREDIBLE SONG, I found deep spiritual meanings, loved the David Bowie weave, like ashes to ashes was to 'Major Tom', a tremendous companion to 'Behind the Grey Sky'.

This is so far one of my favorite songs on this album. Love the sound and the energy. I would have loved to have heard them do an all instrument breakdown in the second Chorus. 1 a e & 4. Would have been even more sweet!

adam johnson I think some dude literally made a bunch of accounts and disliked it about 75 times..for real. At one point it had 100 likes, 3 dislikes. There were about 40 dislikes in one day and another 20ish the next day. It's like that on a bunch of the songs from mosaic. This realistically should have 90+ percent likes according to RUclips statistics. Someone has a lot of free time...

Urban Peltier Stereolithic was very weak to me, but 311 cannot do a bad album. Like Evolver, it took awhile to grow on me.
