I just finished this game for the first time, before jumping to nightmare mode I was curious to watch a speedrun, you can guess my surprised face when I see Zangetsu moving like fucking Raiden from Metal Gear lol.
20:33 That last stage is pretty hard. Before this I got only 1 game over in the whole game, on the ship level more specifically. Then this final stage comes in and I get like 3 game overs in a row. Fuck those red flying heartless wannabe things xD
Are you playing on pc? I'm thinking of getting this game on pc myself. Just need a controller. Completely green when it it comes to these sorta things. But it looks like a snes controller that you're using. Got a tip that an xbox or ps would have been the better option. :)
This is indeed the PC version. What controller you use is entirely on your preference; there isn't really a "better" choice. The great thing about PC gaming is that you have a ton of options to choose from. Personally for me, if a game doesn't require a modern controller with analogs, I go with my SNES controller.

It depends on the mode you play on. If you play on normal, as Zangetsu you'd have to kill your allies after the boss fights to gain his abilities. If you play on ultimate, you have all of his abilities right at the start of the game. Double jump command is jump twice in the air, charge slash is hold attack then release.
@@tiwitiwi6202 After the boss fights you just have to attack them a couple of times until they die instead of talking to them to join you. This should work for both casual or veteran.
Hold the Attack Button with Zangetsu and he'll begin to charge his blade. Once you hear some sort of Slashing sound, release the button and bam. Instant 12 damage.

You have to sacrifice your companions and gain the power from them
how do i kill my allies after a boss fight? does it apply on casual mode or only in veteran?

All u gotta do is mash sprint and he just keeps going
Hold the forward directional button as you mash the dash button. Otherwise, Zangetsu will stop as soon as you release the dash button
