It's a great demo. It makes all the difference when the performer not only can play but obviously LOVES to play. I was on the fence with this piece but now I am getting one for sure. Run it through some good effects and the sky is the limit.
Cburris24's comment mirrors mine. I know for a FACT you demoed the AX synth at NAMM 09, there is a video of it on Gearbox's channel, and I was hoping you could maybe do a side-by-side demo of the two, going through the differences. the thing I'm most concerned about with the Lucina is my hand not fitting in the gap for the Modulation bar/pitch bend strip right now, but I don't want to buy without fully understanding the differences between the two.
@diazeo - oh ok ok koo so specifically what do you think is the biggest differences in the Lucina Ax and the Roland AX SYNTH SHOULDER SYNTHESIZER? I wanna get a Sythn so bad but, i also wnna save money. But i also like quality and design as well. Do you have any suggestions?
Nice demo! Awesome playing! I've been wanting one of these but I have a few questions: Can you modify the stock sounds, maybe via software? Also, can you control the sound of another keyboard using the midi out? And $100 more for black?!?
Hi there how do you put like backtracks in lucia and how do you use the usb thing? Thanks dude really appreciate it btw I just bought Lucia :) yahoo and I say its really hard to play 2 hands on it while standing of course. Thanks again for the demo mate Cheers ! -Ron
This might be a pretty indepth question, but apparently you can use this as a Midi controller - when using it as a Midi controller, does the output come through the synth (ie L and R leads) or through the computer (in my case)?
Amp wise ..get what you can afford ..and remember if your going to play bass on it ..you need a bass speaker to handle it ..or you'll liable to blow out what you have ...Suggestion ..Bass bottom and a guitar bottom ..on top of the bass bottom ......power it with as much as you can afford ..and BAM ..you got it goin ...
I just got mine today ..Been playing keys/synths since the DX-7 first hit the US. *hammond B3 all the time even now* ..If you think out the box ...you can EAT guitars with this mama jama ..Few effect pedals and you can own the world ...BUT know the riffs n licks of killer guitar players..then this is all you need ..BUY it...but work out on it first.. Like ..using some of the non -guitar sounds ..thru effect pedals will get you a LOAD of other usable sounds... Jam on young jedi ....
Sounds incredible. Was just thinkin about Edgar/Johnny Winter and you played the riff lol.

Nice work Ed - THANK YOU!! On the guitar lead sounds - were you using any external processing (echo/reverb/distortion) or is that all on-board?
on board
Any idea what Roland's next Keytar will be? I'm getting the Lucina tomorrow, I want more models aha! Thanks :)
0:00 my favorite🤣🤘

Nice job! does this have a transpose function? (+ or - 12) Thanks for a great demo.
Are you able to use some sort of arpeggiator via MIDI or USB? Where you press any key and it automatically does an arpeggio of that note.
👍🎹🎶
Hi Ed ! Do You think that Roland Will re-release the Ax1 or Ax7 for those who just want to have a simple Midi keytar controller ?
Which setting is at 5:05? I just got mine but I can’t find that sound for some reason :O

love the lucina, but wondering which song it is at 5:29
Does it have like a memory bank so you could make custom sounds or load sounds onto?
does this have on board speakers? or audio output??

You know you need it when a joint don't have space? of course quality sound comes into mind??
Hi!
Whats the highest pitch this can hit? (Note + octave please!!)
You can push a button to move it up octaves right?
what is making the Guitar sound? Is that a Luncina internal sound or something controlled by MIDI?
There are onboard effects on the Luncina
Lucina internal sound
I NEED to know what genre music he was playing at @2:52, I need it in my life
its blues jazz lol
Hammond organ blues to be exact if you want that exact sound
artists like jimmy smith and joey defrancesco will give u what you want.
Really appreciate this man, you're a good fella
i need for @2:34 XD
hey, what kind of amp do you suggest to use with it. I know you're a roland guy, but I mean non-keyboard speakers?
is this a synthetizer with its own speakers, or is it only a midi controller???
can this only be plugged into a computer or an amp too?
cause i wouldnt call something that could only be plugged into a computer that portable
I wonder is it sample based or synthesis based.
what's the difference between this one and the black model? they're not the same price....
Dang, man, can I get lessons? Which state?
can you use this as Midi Keyboard and play with Vsti?
@MegaChrissssssss i believe you can move 3 octaves up and 3 down from middle C

Does this work wireless?
Can this be used as a midi controller too?
Can You Run This Straight Through A Amp ?
