That is absolutely gorgeous!!! Think I might try the technique on glass from a frame. Reinsert into frame....Be a great piece of art. Thanks as always for great projects.
Brandy Carmody Ooooo! You are so right ! Do it on a round glass and frame it! Draw a little red heart where you feel people are; it could be “you gift” to people!!! You’re so perceptive! 💓🦩
Wow this is amazing. I have a sky blue sofa and I ordered a glass table. Now I know what should I do to make it same color like my sofa. You are a great inspiration
I love how you are in complete flow with creativity & generosity...2 super powers for healing just about anything! Thank you for gifting us all by showing up & sharing. ~LOVE~

Mr. Mark! What a wonderful new technique and it made the table look truly fresh & beautiful! You are always on the cutting edge of new ideas. Thanks to you and Julie for all of your time and efforts that you put into these videos. Jackie
This is so gorgeous! I've seen resin art projects doing the same thing with some interesting results. Alcohol drops can also make some unique spreading shapes.
LOVE IT!❤ Didn't know how easy it is to create REALISTIC marble look! (Other DIY projects found in past their marble techniques were cheesy and didn't look like marble at all😝)
I love it and I have 2 glass tables but they are not round so I'm guessing its ok? and also how long did you wait before you covered the table to let it cure and what did you use to cover it? TIA!!!
Hi Tina, Square tables are fine! Also, you want to just make sure that something is covering the table (not touching it) so that it doesn't get dirt or dust on it while it cures. It needs to cure for about 8 hours.
Hi!! I’m looking for this white American decor satin enamel paint and they are all out!! Can you recommend a replacement?! Thanks so much and love this idea
May lord give you a long life full of happy moments. I love it , I would like to have this , it will take me to the Skye and beyond .. Billions of love and thanks Sheikha
Honestly Anna, I can't remember. Just use a DecoArt Pouring medium with the paint and you'll be great! I did this before it was on the market and it's much easier to use.
Hi Perris, the paint is Americana Decor Satin Enamels and can be purchased on Amazon.com here: www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dinstant-video&field-keywords=satin+enamels+decoart&rh=n%3A2858778011%2Ck%3Asatin+enamels+decoart
If you buy everything new, you're looking at $90. You won't be using all of the Glaze Coat or the paints. You could save some money by only swirling 4 paints instead of 5
Thanks Carol! *Find me on Patreon for content I'm not sharing anywhere else. www.patreon.com/MarkMontano I'm posting more and more over there. I hope you'll take a peek and consider being part of it!
Hi Mark, would this effect work on smoky glass, with scratches? Do you think this effect would cover the scratches? This might be the answer to all the old glass table tops I own. Mark, with your artistic abilities there's always something for the genius inside all of us. By the way, this piece of art looks like the world globe. Just Beautiful! Thank you for all you do...makes me want that "Big Ass Book"😀. Blessings in all your endeavors. Dee🌹
I don't sell them, I give them to friends and donate them back to the thrift stores where I purchased them. These particular thrift stores help the homeless and support HIV prevention.
Wow, thanks so much Keonne! Wanted to ask.....If you're on Instagram I 'd love to see you there, too! Here's my link just in case: instagram.com/themarkmontano/
Love this. Would be great to see it done with even more contrasting colors for a surreal rendering of marble. So intriguing. My question though is about the glaze - how you estimate how much you need so that you mix enough? Thx in advance. And can't wait to see the next project. 😊
Mark, this is a stunning transformation from an ordinary glass top table to a gorgeous piece of art.
The glass was scratched and ratty! It needed some love!
That is absolutely gorgeous!!! Think I might try the technique on glass from a frame. Reinsert into frame....Be a great piece of art. Thanks as always for great projects.
That sounds fun!
This is beautiful. It looks like the earth in a way. Like when you look at photos taken from space? Just stunning♡

So nice - looks upscale - love this, thanks Mark.
Just gave this to a friend. :( I didn't have room for it.
Marblelous!!, I really, really love the effect of marble over the glass!
It was a nice smooth surface to work on and the Glaze Coat really helped make it look like glass again.
Mark Montano I am very grateful for all the wonderful new things I am learning with your videos Mark!
I love this pouring technique...and the finished product is stunning. Both thumbs up!
Wow.......I got both thumbs!
This is so gorgeous! I've seen resin art projects doing the same thing with some interesting results. Alcohol drops can also make some unique spreading shapes.

Thanks Annette! I love it, too. My friend just moved into a new apartment so it's a gift.
This is absolutely beautiful!! Can this be done on the top of an outdoor glass table? It's old and i can't get it apart to do the underside.
You can do it on the top, but you would want to seal it with resin if possible.
Did you see my latest furniture makeover? I'd love to know what you think! ruclips.net/video/pop1j8f7KyQ/видео.html
That is gorgeous!

wow...it honestly took my breath away ❤👍
Thanks Jasmine!
Mark serious question ; how many tables do you own ? Lol, do you keep all the project or share the wealth ? Love this project .
I give them away. I like making over tables because you can do anything with them. They are like a canvas, but with purpose!
Mark Montano I gotta admit I'm drawn to tables too !
OMG I love this! Please give me an idea on what colors to use for a table with burgundy & black.
Well, I'd start with black and burgundy and then add some gray and pink and probably another red.
thank you so much!! Now to find the table
Mark thanks for your quick response!
Love the table.
How did you make the jacket that is to your right please?
Hold on, that's an upcoming video!
Very nice technique. Do you use epoxy clear resin and hardner for glaze coat?
Yes, Glaze Coat is a 2 part epoxy resin that cures in about 8 hours.
Great as always! Do you have a tutorial for the flower appliquéd jacket to your side, in the opening and closing of the video?
Hi Alli, We'll have that video in about a week. It was only 1/2 way done when we filmed this video.
Mark, this is absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to make this for my new home! Thank you for so much inspiration!
Any time Kari! This is easy. You can totally handle it! I'll bet yours will be even better.
I love this would it work with frosted glass?
Hi Denise, If you painted it on the top, then yes. It would be fine.
wow, this one is superb....it looks like an expensive piece of art!
I love how expensive it looks Yue!
This is beautiful!!
Thanks so much!

Hi Sheikha! Sending you big hugs today!
Hi Mark
Your table is beautiful! Can you tell me what are the amount of paint and water in each cup?
Honestly Anna, I can't remember. Just use a DecoArt Pouring medium with the paint and you'll be great! I did this before it was on the market and it's much easier to use.
First of all, Hi. The table is SOOOOOO nice. Where does the paint come from?
Hi Perris, the paint is Americana Decor Satin Enamels and can be purchased on Amazon.com here: www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dinstant-video&field-keywords=satin+enamels+decoart&rh=n%3A2858778011%2Ck%3Asatin+enamels+decoart

Me, too! I just gave it away last night to a good friend for his new apartment. He loves it.
This looks awesome, all I need is some glass tables.
You could use a wood round if you wanted, Linda. I just decided to repurpose a scratched glass table.
very cool and beautiful!
Hi Peg! Thanks for the comment. I love this table but sadly I have to give it away. No room!
Mark,
The marble look glass table is A M A Z I N G! Could you tell me an approximate cost of your paints and glaze?
Sue
If you buy everything new, you're looking at $90. You won't be using all of the Glaze Coat or the paints. You could save some money by only swirling 4 paints instead of 5
Gorgeous Mark!!
I super ❤️ it
Tfs, big hugs
Vicky xo
Hey Vicky! Thanks so much!
Very pretty!!
Morning Marie! Thanks for popping in!
Does this only work on glass? Can I use this technique on laminate? I simply love this idea.
I think you can!
Beautiful! Are you using the whole containers of paint or how much ?
I used about 1/3 of each color paint.
VERY BEAUTIFUL DIY😲😨👍👌💖

Beautiful Mark, looks like that was fun to do
This was going so well until it almost slipped out of my hands! You would have loved to hear that scream!
Lol, no that would not have been good to ruin your project
Hi Mark, would this effect work on smoky glass, with scratches? Do you think this effect would cover the scratches? This might be the answer to all the old glass table tops I own. Yes, it would. I painted the glass because it was scratched from so much use. Oh, I thought it looked like weather patterns from space, too! :)
Very pretty TFS I want to do that in pinks black 👏👏👏👏
You should definitely do that! Make sure to send me a picture, too!
wow It looks great! I kinda wondering but do you sell your furniture pieces?
I don't sell them, I give them to friends and donate them back to the thrift stores where I purchased them. These particular thrift stores help the homeless and support HIV prevention.
Mark Montano wow that's wonderful!!! You repurpose, give it new life, and help others!!!
Love that technique ...!!
Me, too! You never know what's going to happen!

Love this. Would be great to see it done with even more contrasting colors for a surreal rendering of marble. So intriguing. My question though is about the glaze - how you estimate how much you need so that you mix enough? Thx in advance. And can't wait to see the next project. 😊
I used a 1 pint box for this table top. It depends on the size of your table.
This is so beautiful yet easy:)I would love to try it:)
Thanks so much!
As Billy Crystal would say, "This table looks Mahbelous!"
Have a great week!
Thanks Dianna!
Simply superb
It almost slipped out of my hands when I was tilting it.....That would have been a disaster! Still, we all lived and no paint got on the floor.
Beautiful!
Wish I would have kept this one. A friend snagged it!
