Wow this turned out beautiful. When you put the white on, I was like nooooo... but the end result was amazing. You know what you're doing. Thanks for sharing.
Love It! I’ve Never seen a pour done on furniture! What a great idea for scratched/scuffed worn surfaces. The colors look amazing, and the bronze, ash tones so great in resemblance to a wood look with the white as a highlight. Beautiful! Thank you for the great idea!!
Without adding the white color looks amazing already, at the same time with white color more really good. Use to enjoy watching this resin epoxy, but I’m scared to mess up my upgraded old table🙏
First and foremost I appreciate you for creating a great piece of art and l love the video it was very informative a real deal confidence building experience . Well you take care of yourself and I will looking forward to seeing more videos from you
Love it, but would have loved it more if there weren't so much white on it. It became rather stark looking with so much white. Maybe on a quarter of the amount I would have used as highlighting more. But still a quite stunning and beautiful piece!!! Thanks for sharing this lovely and functional work of art.
Love your idea. I wonder what it would have looked like with the white below the other colors? Or perhaps add more of the other colors to blend and create more depth.
I think I agree with most of the comments below the white did sort of ruin it, but the methodology is good, interested in trying this sort of thing to revive old tables etc. I wasn't sure you could mix acrylic paints with epoxy, the last time we tried this it bubbled up and reacted>??
I'm searching in comments and am new to this idea. Can't find if you list anywhere what materials you used. I'd love to do this to my glass top patio table that looked terrible after 1 month of purchase but is in great structural shape.
Beautiful. ... I couldnt understand what product you poured on the glass before pouring the resin.... and being outdoors doesnt affect the colours? Thanks for teaching. ..
Did u add hardener for every different color you used? I am just trying to figure out how to mix A and B ..so i mix A and B and use that mix to generate colors by adding pigments am i correct ?? Could you please advise ? Thank you ..
Great question! It lifted sitting in the son for months! I've used proper primer on glass since then and that worked perfectly. I've used the peeled off skins for another project, so there was no wastage 😜 Thanks for watching.❤
I actually haven't done any more to it. Got too busy with other projects and this table kinda grew on me. Family likes it too, so it's being used outside on the porch😚
Zdravo Fatima. 🤗😍
Suzanna I previously poured resin on an outdoor table ... it has a dull slightly yellow finish now. What technique would I use to make the surface clear/shine up the surface please?
UV light may make it get this dull yellow finish. There is a UV protector that you can add to your raisin. You add 1% of your raisin to your raisin. I don't know how it is called in your country, here it is called UV Stabilisator for epoxy raisin
Did the resin stick with the spray paint on glass first? Im making one tonight and would like to know if I should sand off the spray paint or just start pouring
It stuck but I kept the table outside in the weather and it lifted😥. There is a spray paint that you can get which sticks to most surfaces. Just ask in the hardware store or an auto shop. 😉
You definitely need a heat source if you wish to create effects. A hair dryer on a low speed and high heat will work but you'll get different effects. Word of advice, roughly sand your glass before pouring, I didn't and my resin cracked and pealed off in time. Good luck
You sure can. One suggestion though, rough up the surface first with sand paper to insure that resin sticks properly. I didn't do that and in time resin cracked and lifted off of the glass😉🤗
@@hippygypsy777 you certainly can use acrylics, just test them in a small amount of resin first as some acrylic paints overheat the resin and cause it to foam up and harden within minutes. I've used acrylic paints when I first started and had a few disasters but the rest worked well 😉🤗
I used acrylic paints here but the resin cracked in time and I believe that was because I didn't prime the glass and didn't use proper epoxy colorants.
Hi Suzana, I may be doing a similar table soon. You said the paint didn't stick too well on the glass top. Why did you need to paint the top? Would you still advise to do that now? Thank you for your time!
Bebe Horton I usually don't base coat glass before resin but in this instance I spray painted the metal legs and sides and just kept going. Paint stuck really well to the metal but not so good to the glass because this primer was made for use on metal. That was a rookie mistake. In my experience, you don't need to prime glass, just give it a real good clean.🤗
Congratulations! Have everything prepped and ready before you start mixing your resin. Have an idea in mind. Let go and let ot happen naturally. Don't stress. Enjoy your creation. Love your work before it's even done. 😘
Great question. If it's done properly yes it can however, the white will yellow in time. Some resin companies claim that their resin is UV resistant but no resin is completely UV resistant and it will discolor in time. Some paints can cause resin to crack when exposed to temperature changes but, if you use proper epoxy colorants, prime your surface right and use very little white ( or none) , your resin piece will be fine out in the weather.
S for Suzana. Done subconsciously. I love it. So Suzana, since this is an outdoor table, which type resin did you use for this one? 1:1 or 2:1? Maybe you said which on in the video and I missed it. I want to do this to my patio table but would it need to be stored away during winter? I'm sure our winters here in Iowa are much colder than your winters. Love these colors. I just got my shipment yesterday, yippee.

No worries, it was my pleasure🤗

Awesome the white makes a massive difference , reminds me of the tables made with wood pieces and the rivers of epoxy in between . Love it !
Someone in your comments awhile back gave the tip to use parchment paper because it doesn’t stick
Soo thankful
Works like a charm
David Hill Thats wonderfulĺ, Pat. ❤🤗😘❤
Brilliant, a beautiful finished table. I might try it on my garden table. Thank you.

I love it. Such beatiful colors and the celling is amazing!
The closes up at the end looks like it’s google earth, very beautiful result 🥰
i absolutely love how it turned out it's a one of a kind piece of art
So fun to watch you create
Thank you Kim. I'm looking forward to creating again. It's been a while....
Table looks great, the white grows on you and it does have a Dragon tail look to it.
cheers :)
Its gorgeous, even with the white. Love it!
Love your idea. I wonder what it would have looked like with the white below the other colors? Or perhaps add more of the other colors to blend and create more depth.
Any color or no color. Add rocks or marbles etc then epoxy

Looks great she makes it look easy she’s very talented
Great job Suzana, thank you for the video.
Well you just answered it. Beautiful job.
I thought of the Dream Time Rainbow Snake when you used the heat gun on the white. Don't know why but it just popped into my head. Lovely as always.
LynVoyager59 That's awesome! Love it! Thank you🤗🤗🤗

Need to find an outdoor table now. Definitely trying my hand resin work.
It’s good yo Transform an old coffee table into a stunning new modern coffee table thanks for the tip.

Your work is very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, I wonder what would happen if you were to drop the colours from a height?
Love your work.
Xo
I WANT It‼️ Another perfect score.
That’s amazing ... totally wowed when you did the closeups
Kristina Kowalski Thank you so much🤗🤗🤗
Amazing but I can use it outdoor ????

You are 100% correct. Mix your resin ( A+B) first and then add colourants 😉🤗
I do like it but I actually liked it more before the white went on. The metallics are gorgeous 😊
chris reynolds Thank you so much. Yes, I agree😉🤗
for sure
Yes I agree that the white over powered the piece. Love the metallics though. Thank you for another great video !
I think the effect would have been great has the white been applied first then the metallics over top!
chris reynolds, my opinion too. or at least a bit less of white. Its a beautiful art work anyway.
That's just beautiful!
Oh my God!!!! It's beatiful....I love You😘
im slowly getting addicted to your vids... so much so I just bought a load of stuff to make a desk damn you lol
Another lovely video!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!
Any videos how this looks 5 years later?
I honestly don't know. I sold this table.
Goes without saying, YOU do nice work
This is sooo beautiful. Thank you!
Did the base paint adhere to the glass and not peel everything off after awhile?
thats awesome! thank you!
Great question! It lifted sitting in the son for months! I've used proper primer on glass since then and that worked perfectly. I've used the peeled off skins for another project, so there was no wastage 😜 Thanks for watching.❤
@@suzanadancks do you have a proper primer for glass that you would recommend?
Very beautiful!!
Thank you kindly xxx
I have to agree - didn’t like the white...maybe if it had been the first layer...???
Very nice!! Can you tell me how long it took to dry please...thank you!!
Great table! Do you have what you finally did to the table? Would love to see.
I actually haven't done any more to it. Got too busy with other projects and this table kinda grew on me. Family likes it too, so it's being used outside on the porch😚

Im impressed, that looks great..
Prelijepo! Koju vrstu boje koristiš?

Doesn't the fumes bother you at all? I used liquid glass once and my face swelled up a lot!
Beautiful pour!
I liked it better before the white too but it’s still pretty
It looks fantastic
I forgot to order a heat gun. I have a blow dryer will that work?

Stunning
You neglected to show how you did the fractures in the piece. Looks great though, thanks for sharing.
What does the torch do to resin? Or the hot gun? Purpose? Thank you
Can you mix acrylic paint with epoxy. I have some real nice silver and gold matalic. I would like to try in some jewelry and or table tops.
I think the answer was yes. I also heard you can use food coloring at very small amounts. And also eye shadow.
@@hippygypsy777 you certainly can use acrylics, just test them in a small amount of resin first as some acrylic paints overheat the resin and cause it to foam up and harden within minutes.

can we use any kind of epoxy resin for glass applications ? or do we need to buy a special epoxy ? Do we need to spray paint before hand ?
You can use any resin, just roughly sand your glass to insure that the resin sticks to it.
@@suzanadancks thank you for your reply .. Should I use a premier prior to epoxy coating ? If so, could you recommend me one?
what does the torch do and where do you get it, what's the name of it? is a blow dryer the same?
What is the kind of resin you used? it seems to have a long working time. the whole i time i was thinking go go go go 😂

Is it safe to stay outside? Would the weather ruin the resin?
That depends on the resin and insuring that you prime your substrate properly
Beautiful!
Suzana what do you do to the sides after tape comes off ??
What type of resin so you use and where do you get your colors?
nice work!
This is so beautiful! I'm so glad I found your page! In your opinion what is the best acrylic resin to use for this type of project?
What primer used (black)
Now THAT is a torch.
So you can do this on a glass dining table too?
can u do flames and set pictures in it or would that work ?
