I love your clay tutorials. I'm not working right now because of the pandemic. I'm bored out of my mind and money is tight, but I know my mom will smile when she finds these crafts on Christmas morning.
Wow, they are so cute.. not a bad price for the embossed pins.. so many uses, I am sure you will think of many crafts to use them in. I can imagine them holder's coming in handy year after year. Nice work again.. xxx
After a tad of research, clay 12.5KG air dry matt finish clay £9.59 (inc tax) Their name is: TTSgroup.co.uk maybe a better option, I haven't ordered from them yet so not able to say if they are good or bad. I use the Works clay as it's easy to get but their delivery costs are quite high. Have you tried Hearty? amazingly silky in feeling and blends well. A Pammi top tip: blending clay like bottoms of jars use a tad of water, it will blend so well and doesn't effect the drying time. I did santa boots and they turned out just fine. Hope this helps you and other's watching this. All the best, happy crafting. xxx
@@ClairesCraftyCorner I get joy from watching you craft, it's my way of giving back and helping out fellowcrafter's as it can be a costly venture. But oh so much fun. xxx
They are lovely. The images are so clear & I love the cut out windows. The paint work is not shabby, it looks great. Don't put yourself down - you are an amazingly talented woman. Be proud.
You can get embossed rolling pins in lots of places. There are even smaller ones to roll out icing and fondant. Tho I do rather like the one's Claire is using!
Those embossing rolling pins tho!!!!! The housescape is amazing...it comes out so clear on the clay...wow! Nice call to cut the windows out. Love it. So cozy!
That is a really cool idea. You make me want to try other crafts. I’ve never been interested in anything but resin but you are introducing me to lots of other fun crafts. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
Oh my gosh I absolutely love these!!! I love everything about these!!! I will seriously give these ones a go!! They turned out so stinkin cute!!! Well done lady!!! Xx
Hi Claire, absolutely lovely. I luv little villages so thsi is a big go ahead for me. I can finally make something with products bought in a UK shop. ( not that we can get anything at the moment) Love the rolling pins. Beauties as always. Thank you for sharing. Take care, stay safe n luv to u xo
Thank you so much Lynne ! I ordered these online ... honestly I won't go shopping unnecessarily for anything since March ..... so its been a saviour ! Lol x so glad you like them xxx ❤❤❤❤
These are FABULOUS!!! What a great use for air dry clay. I was just thinking, "What a steady hand she has." When you said shabby paint job. These turned out great! Not shabby at all. ❤❤❤
Hi Claire, They are lovely. I was waiting for you to paint the Mistletoe leaves green and the berries white. LOL. This rolling pins are fantastic. Thake care Claire. Cheers, Huw
Those are amazing Claire! I can't find the village rolling pin in the states. Love the project. Each of the 16 gnomes I made from your tutorial want one...lol.
Very cute! I actually bought my mom an embossed rolling pin with cats on it probably about four or five years ago for Christmas! We made cookies with it. I wasn't doing crafting back then, though, so it never occurred to me to use it for that! It was imported from Europe somewhere, so it took a while to arrive. I haven't seen any of those rolling pins here in the U.S. but maybe they're out there somewhere. lol. Love your craft, though. Painting small detailed stuff can be tricky. I'm not that great at it. lol.
@@amethyst1826 Yeah, I got one from Amazon but didn't know it was coming from overseas when I purchased it. I haven't looked for another one lately, though.
thanks girl xx it is such a pity these were made in China specifically for this store ... which is frustrating when people cannot then ordee them from overseas xx
@@ClairesCraftyCorner I need your advice what are the coloured powders that you use with resin and superglue Ive been asked to do a bowl with emerald green shimmering stuff in the rim??
Hey Cynthia ... I only use LED tea lights .. the hollow tube one had a real candle jar and it was fine but the heat was close to the top so I wouldnt really know the effects sorry xx
I actually don't know but I absolutely would use it on both ha ha ha I don't see how it could possibly be harmful if you wash the rolling pin xx I will look it up though x
Just keep kitchen towels, q-tips or baby wipes on hand to quickly wipe off little mistakes. On the 2nd one I thought she was going to just paint the flowers and leave the background white!
Thanks for the tips! really helpful .. I was ummin and ahhin about the mistletoe but it wouldnt suit my decor x white berries on the red would have been nice though
