Stunning! The Pearl mica powder, swirling around the the cinnamon sticks and orange slices, looks like big fluffy clouds or big hills of snow. Incredibly soft and inviting 😍♥️💐💐
You got a great result there! 😁😁 When I used orange slices in resin once, even though they were 'dried' they still went brown over time 😢 I say 'dried' because they were still a bit sticky in the bag, and I think not thoroughly dehydrated.
heyyyyyy - Ohhhhh no :( that suxks - yeh these were not crunch dry - not at al so I guess they may suffer the same fate :( so glad you like it though xxx
Claire, you and I were on the same wavelength today. I went out in the yard and gathered a bunch of fall leaves to make a bowl. You have added to my plans. Thank you
It makes me think of the frozen water bowls we would make and put on the walk way with candles in them to light the pathway for Christmas! Except our bowls melted eventually! Beautiful
It's a real Christmas in a pot eh, pot! 💜 It reminds me of the ice lanterns I did as a kid. Those usually had fresh orange slices and pine or just plain ice. They also melted fairly quickly due to the tealight inside.
I also got my self some stuff for I can make something. Watching here from the hospital. I had a bag put on my stomach to clean me inside. I'm in so much pain. It came out so pretty
Beautiful planter,ms Claire, the selection of materials and the colors was so perfect, the dried orange skices look superb in it with the amazing whites 💜💜😍😍😍😍
Oh Claire that is beautiful,I'm imagining a small christmas tree in the pot.i think it would be perfect, well done can't wait to see your next one ❤❤❤❤❤
OHHH MYYY GOSHHH!!! After allll of that this turned out absolutely gorgeous - beautifully wintery dreamy Christmas!!!!! So you have proven that mess ups can turn out even more amazing than you could have planned!
Claire, this is beautiful! This would make a lovely candle with a few Tea lights in the bottom, or a small string of mini lights. I've made something similar with water, a bundt pan, some decorations and my deep freezer. It was strictly for outdoor use. I have only one bundt pan, so it took quite a while (a week or two!) to make them. I sat one on each of my 3 front steps with a real and very small candle in each. It looked fantastic, but a real pain to have to go out and replace/or relight the candles every evening. If I try this again, I'll use larger sized LED lights as they weren't really bright enough to light the steps. It's gonna be a pain going out to turn them on and off, but still should be pretty enough. Thank you so much for reminding me of this, and for a very inspiring video!
Wow! Frosted Christmas pot.. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I going to give it a go as I have cinnamon sticks and other random items to use. Thank you for the inspiration.
I saw the Nick Zametti video! The chaos of his pours almost wrecked me haha! His pots and vases came out very cool, even amidst the chaos! Claire, your pot is wonderful! Love the frost/snow/cloud effect! Not sure how a plant pot with no drainage holes works, but love your pot!
Claire, could use attach the berries with just a tiny dot of UV resin to keep them where you want them? You could even attach them with the UV while it was turned wrong side out, I'd think. This turned out lovely.
heyyyyy my lovely - the thought crossed my mind - but I thought it would be too tricky with the depth - and light and might not work x definitely worth a try :)
This pot is stunning in big!! Are you able to smell the cinnamon? That would be amazing if you can❤ With the pine cones, you could pull each seed off and put them in the resin. Use the acorns, more pine and then and you would have a woodsy pot! 😊❤
That is truely an example of "mistakes are not always bad, sometimes ends up better"
It turned out so so beautiful! It reminds me of sitting all cozy in a cabin on a snowy night.⛄
Holy wow Claire!! Even without lights it looks like it’s glowing!! I absolutely love that frosted look ❤️
Happy mistakes are fabulous too❤! I love watching Nick Zemetti! His waffling, projects, and experiments are so fun!
This pot has much more than Christmas vibes. It could be used for all winter. So beautiful.❤

@ I know how much work it takes to
You could use a sander to flatten out one side of those pinecones. Just a suggestion if you really want to use them.
