Another thing to keep in mind with BMX cranks is "spline drive" versus a "bolt on" sprocket. To me "bolt on" is obsolete and "spline drive" is lighter and cleaner (no bolt, no welded boss on the crank arm). Also, rear pegs are much closer to the pedals on modern bikes, so 160mm cranks, which would sound insane a few years ago, makes perfect sense when your heels are hitting your rear pegs.
Yeah man for sure, as bikes have changed and become more specific to what the rider is riding (street, park, trails, all of the above) The cranks have needed to change to fit the riders.
I used to run profile 19mm cranks with a titanium axle then the arms spline stripped out in the arms now im rocking Fiend team cranks in 165mm they dont wobble or come loose like the profile cranks did and there solid get some peeps 👍
You seem to be talking about crank length like it's the horizontal distance between them instead. Optimal crank length all depends on the rider's body. Their stride, fitness, injuries, etc.
Im Beginner oN bmx, and i just got new cult devotion, and 21”TT frame, and hard for me tO do trick, me 5’3” around 163cm, So if i change with short crank like 155mm-160mm, the trick gonna work like bunnyhop or manual, or will the same hard lebar the trick, Thanks
They are great bikes man, I would recommend sticking with your current set up and riding for a little longer before changing your set up to much. Save your money and go shred! When you are ready to upgrade your set up, let us know and we will be able to find the best option for you.

Those fiend cranks are bomb proof! 🤟
What’s the difference from 19mm to any other cranks?
@@Ayrosoul 19mm Use R12 2RS bearings and 22mm use R12 RS22 bearings
I like the the 2 piece cranks because it's easy to work on and it bearly comes out
Yeah for sure, super simple!
@@luxbmxstore you should do a review on sprocket cause I ride 160mm with a 28th nd should I get the same brand as the cranks are
Why? If you have 3 then you can always just take one side off even if one is stripped, but with 2 and your side strips well… RIP
Just a question are the united severance cranks good?

Thunderbolt cranks Mid BB doesn't come in the set?
The thunderbolt + cranks come with a BB :)
Are the thunderbolt + an updated version? Or does it mean with bb
Yep! they come with a bottom bracket!
what if you strip the bolt on the 2pc
You could get a new bolt? But generally doesn't happen too often.
@@luxbmxstore no shit dude if its stripped then do you get it out thats what i meant
@@hliassbmx Oh Ok, without seeing the full problem it might be easier to email the guys at help@luxbmx.com
What are your thoughts on the fly dolmen 2 cranks??
Really Solid clean looking cranks!
@@luxbmxstore just got the thunderbolts but I wanted to get the flys but odyssey never let me down
respect bro!
thanks!
Do crank length matter when it comes to Bunny Hop height??
You CAN make hopping a little easier with shorter cranks. How ever learning the correct weigh to bunny hop and lots of practice will help even more!
That Hairdo Though!
Last I checked the wethepeople logic cranks dont have lifetime warranty
Yeah, you are right. Let that one slip. Thanks for the feedback Angus. Really appreciate it. 🔥
@@luxbmxstore I'm still getting the logic cranks tho, was looking into them
And why is everything on luxbmx overpriced!?!?!?
