@@Healthy_Toki with all being equal, the main differences between a full frame camera like the Z6 and a MFT camera like the GH7 would be power consumption and thermal requirements. The Z6 with its larger sensor would have larger pixels that consume more power. Anything that consumes more power generates more heat. So, if Nikon doesn't have a good thermal design, it can handicap the camera. I don't think MFT cameras usually have issues with heat and can usually record for long periods. Essentially there isn't a real reason you couldn't compare the two.
On the video side, will the Nikon Z6III shoot 10-bit 4:2:2 internally? What about intraframe codecs? And with their recent purchase of RED, will they finally have internal RAW video recording capability?
Hi Simon, looks like Nikon intends to beat the R6ii by giving it a CFxB and half a mega pickle extra ;-) If I someday upgrade my camera it needs to have a stacked sensor of minimum 45mp when FF or 32mp when APS-C ..
Depends on the price and warranty coverage. I have Patrick at Downtown camera in the description. It's a Canadian retailer and mentioning my name might give you a little extra off the top ;)
On the Adorama and BH Store, it says they will close at 2pm ET. So there open before that and they can always showcase Z6iii info and pre-orders by then!
This is unrelated but, does anyone know why Panasonic keeps introducing micro 4/3rds bodies? Some of them are expensive. Is there really a future for that?
I think it will be a solid step above the last version and since it’s a mid tear camera we can’t expect it to blow anyone away like a flagship . Will be interesting to see if the rumours missed a few surprises .
I've been looking forward to this body for a while, but have been avoiding news as a lot seems made up for clicks. Very good job stating the facts versus pandering hype.
All I know is Sony better make their next two announcements be the Sony a7sIV or Sony a7V with improved specs because the other camera companies are giving more bang for the buck nowadays. They need to bring back that Sony a7iii magic to the masses to get that WOW factor again.
The new Fujifilm X-T50 has build in AI autofocusing detection and 7-stops of IBIS. The camera itself is a bit of artwork too. The new 16-50mm f2.8-4.8 R lens brings the price up to $1,799, but the lens has internal zooming, meaning it doesn’t extent out as you zoom. FujiRumors says the image quality seems to be in par with much more expensive prime lenses.

@@OrdinaryFilmmaker But there is a constant delay in Canon R5 mark 2. It was February, it didn't happen. It wasn't April. It wasn't until mid-May. Now there is a rumor of July. We are tired now, my friend.
Supposedly July with late August deliveries but . . . delivery dates announced this week on the C400 are much longer than that. Makes me wonder if R5ii deliveries for mere mortals will start many days before 2025.
Yes, but Nikon has to compete with Canon. Canon produces seven or eight 24MP full frame camera bodies -- everything but the R5. So Nikon can't leave that segment vacant in its lineup!
What technology exactly? If you think sensors, you'll have to wait several years in the very least for Nikon to get Red's sensors. Whoever makes the sensors for Red, (a niche manufacturer, no doubt), has to agree to supply them for Nikon, (not a foregone conclusion), and they have to scale up design and production levels to supply a major manufacturer such as a Nikon. These are two big "ifs" that must be resolved before this were to happen.
@@bngr_bngr Granted, though that isn't necessarily a given. It all depends on the agreement Red has with its supplier. Does Red simply say, "Hey, we need a sensor with these specs. Now go and work your magic." Or does Red get down into the theoretical weeds with the manufacturer? There might very well be some sort of sharing agreement between the two that may not necessarily transfer. Red's sensor manufacturer has been, heretofore, a closely guarded bit of information. Unless one is privy to the particulars of this arrangement we're left to speculations.
@@giovannispinosa182 that is true but that doesn’t preclude the new owner of RED to existing contracts, agreements, or technology with other companies. Thanks for being a regular viewer Bill.
Where is the Panasonic Lumix S1H MII ?!!!
You can't compare the Panasonic GH7's frame rates and pricing to the Z6III, as the former is M4/3, the latter is full frame.
One can always compare...
Why wouldn't you be able to?

Everyone does intraframe... it's raw, all-i and open gate that is often left out...
I'm excited for this launch more so because I'm hoping for firmware updates to the Z8 and Z9 with the announcement.

The gold standard test is tracking small fast birds…..hopefully Nikon does it this time and not make us wait for z6 iv, not everyone can afford a z8.

For those who want a smaller camera. Like Fuji doesn't compete in the full frame sector.
