Thank you very much for your kind words @Spartan-mh7im! @@DemCrumblies Cool beans. Oh one quick question - does the Wi-Fi hub (rabbit eared device) accept micro SD cards that are marked 'U3' class? I'm looking on Amazon, and I see a lot of "UHS-I" marked ones that are also marked "U3", but ran into an FAQ on Eufy website somewhere where they said their devices only accept ones marked UHS-1 - not UHS-2 or UHS-3. Hey Andy, I never thought to check if I can use the existing lock cylinder, but take a look at this part of the video because it shows the black plastic part in the cylinder having a top notch. If your existing cylinder doesn't have top notch, it may not rotate properly. You can always leave your existing cylinder, connect the front and back and see if you turn the lock if it engages before you permanently secure everything. ruclips.net/video/mUAo9ckRWW0/видео.html
Hey Korg, I wouldn't pay monthly because using the microSD card has been working well for me. Battery life will depend on how much traffic or motion is detected where you place the camera. Hi there, yes, you should be able to answer with a tablet that has wifi and Android for sure. I'm not sure if the Efuy app is available for Apple though, you can check the iTunes store to make sure it has the Eufy app.
Hey Zina, the calibration part requires that the lock bolt and the opening be fully unobstructed. Before you calibrate the lock, are you able to turn the lock knob manually to ensure that the bolt goes in and out of the opening without any resistance or pressure? If you notice any pressure or resistance, you'll have to modify the opening, or modify the placement of the lock, or you will just have to always be mindful to push the door right up against the frame every time you lock and unlock the door. Some doors have padding or weather sealing that prevents the lock from working properly unless you always push or pull the door right up against the door frame. I hope that makes sense.
Hey Mason, I actually have double doors too, which is where I installed this lock. It's only one lock, but there is a front and back part that goes on one of the double doors only, and the deadbolt/latch extends into a hole in the second door. If you bought two separate locks, it would come with two separate bridges, but I'm not sure if one bridge can be paired with two lock units. I can check with Eufy support tomorrow maybe and get back to you about it if you plan on buying two separate locks. Let me know.
