- Alton Towers have destroyed the old Darkest Depths scare maze buildings/shipping containers, Spinball Whizzer looks to be having some work, HEX remains CLOSED, and CBeebies Land 10 years celebrations remain, ready for the summer season! I also take a ride on some of the UK's best coasters, including the all New Nemesis Reborn! Nemesis: Sub-Terra has also reopened and the Congo River Rapids after a few weeks of downtime! Alton Ville Mine tours looks also to be having work done, will it return? Alton Towers have stated that HEX will open this season... but when?

Could the potential spinball whizzer board change be the start of more refurb for the ride
The refurb would probably be them removing Eggman for good 😂
Nah but seriously, it would be really nice if they did up not just Spinball, but Galactica too because I would hate to see that be removed!

Rode Spinball on my visit at the end of May. Used to love that ride but it was so rough it made me feel sick! Also... favourite part of it is standing in the queue watching the lifthill wobble like crazy as a train launches off the top XD

The house overlooking the gardens used to be The Swiss Cottage Restaurant. I had a bang on meal there back in 1993.
It then became the staff accommodation for staff who lived to far away
Great channel, glad I discovered you. It was good to hear you gently slag off thorpe park the other day.. they need a gentle push in the right direction, I really cannot believe that after all that sparkle project rubbish, nemesis inferno still has that filth in the station ceiling on that netting!
Anyway, regarding THIS vid, I really don't see the point of celebrating 10 years of ceebeebies land. If you enjoyed it when you were 5, are you really going to go and ride postman pat at 15? Lol
Hahahaha thanks i’m always just honest! Nemesis infernos station needs one hell of a clean to be honest 🤣 Yeah the 10 years of CBeebies was really popular in may with the kids at towers, so will probably be even more popular in summer and bring more people in the park, I heard from some people that mainly just went for the shows!
I'm still just over 2 months away from my yearly visit. Can't wait to ride nemesis again

Hex was announced to reopen for 2024 on Alton Towers site
Someone told me that the World Of David Williams is going soon... that same person told me that Mellors wants Flavio's Fabulous Fandango and Royal Carousel back!
I dont think they would remove a land thats only been out for 3 years but it is possible i guess, I just doubt it
Could be possible I can see them removing the land but keeping Gangsta granny, incorporate it into a new area. Gangsta Granny is really the only thing in the land, so they could keep that as it was the main investment and get rid of the smaller other rides.
The carousel has nothing to do with Mellors that’s been in the park since 1991 and been rethemed a few times and moved a few times. The sizzler that is Flávio’s was owned by a showman called George Burrows last time I was there as I was talking to him. It’s the only funfair ride left at towers from the Covid era. There is always the possibility of Flávio’s being removed as I asked him if it would be back next season and he said depends on how much towers pays him if they keep giving him a decent rent for it he will keep it there otherwise he will pull it out. Which is why the ride area and queue line are not as themed but the ride itself has received a bit of theming.
