lol this video is even more debatable than i expected in the description, so here we go with corrections 0:13 might be F#1, ill check it again 0:21 is growl 0:31 is growl too 0:40 is only G#1
They are both excellent vocalist obviously. It's a hard call especially for those of us without perfect pitch or a piano/keyboard present. Based solely on the technique I did hear Geoff lead in all but growls. They were to breathy for my liking, however his subharmonics are stronger than Tim's which pull him in the lead. They both have a similar range with I think Tim a half step lower than Geoff, however Geoff has nearly an entire half octave on his upper range over Tim. Giving him a 5 1/2 octave range where Tim has 5 so it will always come down to technique with these two.
@@annoyingthing6238 ok gotcha? Yeah I tested the Eb1 theory but I didn't wanna say that he hit a Eb1 because I feel like people's would be toxic know what I mean
Geoff definitely did great on this excelling in a Techniques... But his growls annoy me tbh.. they are so breathy... Unlike tims growl which sounds like chesty kinda.....Avi was chest non existent in this video so he's not really a subject in this..... Geoff wom this by far...

@@TM-pf1kp 00:13 is slide it ends in E1
In my opinion, Geoff definitely won this one
With subharmonic and growl

Daddy sang bass F1 is not chest, but growl. Same with Phantom of the Opera.
Isnt it a sub
@@mariodiaz2911 I meant the F1 at 0:20 here. It‘s a background F1 and definitely a growl. The ending F1 of Daddy Sang Bass is a subharmonic F1, right.
Just wondering... Are there any chest F1 idea in Geoff's Sixteen Tons? Or no...
His lowest is an eb1 in the song, but he doesn’t hit an f1 in that

@@kn3236 I know exactly what you mean
@@annoyingthing6238 nope, its flat F#1
@@ntanzar911 Raise it up the octave and you get an obvious eb2
Geoff's F1's are MUCH cleaner
So I guess Avi is out of the picture for this one lmao
haha true
the cover is kinda sad xD
Geoff's slide in Cheerleader is a F#1. In Daddy Sang Bass and in the Phantom of the Opera the F1s are growl. In High and Fry he ends at a G#1
yeah ur right abt most of this, but id argue the cheerleader slide is a F1, ill check again tho
@@TM-pf1kp yeah. Many people say it's to E1, but actually it stops before... I hear F#1. Not very countable in each case
@@alebormio4842 hmmmm...i checked again and i still think it's F1 tbh, i think ill upload a super short non listed video to show why I think so

Nope he slides down to E1
You mean Geoff candy, subharmonic or growl, so flawless.

i definitely see your point
Tim got this
