Okay, this is probably going to sound like crazy similes, but here's what Geoff's singing reminds me of. When he's in his higher register, it's like a soda-crisp, sparkling, pure and sweet. His midrange is like taking a shower in melted honey-warm, soothing, and still pure and sweet. His lower range is like a lion's purr-deep, rumbly, sounds almost "dangerous" but very inviting. And all of them encase you in a cocoon of feelings of "How the heck can he do that?" but also a sensation of a warm hug! Yeah, I probably sound a little nuts, but I am, so that's okay then. Hopefully this makes sense to SOMEBODY! LOL!
Great reaction! Geoff is definitely the best bass out there. I promise you would like his covers of 16 Tons, Man of Constant Sorrow and House of the Rising Sun. He also sings in the Acapella group Voice Play. They are amazing as well. Check out their versions of Valhalla Calling Me and Nothing Else Matters. I guarantee you'll love them. That's a good start down that rabbit hole.
This is my favorite Geoff arrangement. It gives such a completely new feel to this song. I hope you will continue checking out his work and the a cappella group he is a part of, VoicePlay.
I think this is one of his most intricate arrangements; it's one of my very favorites!! Try his version of Shenandoah, an old American folk song. It's very sweet and soothing!
I hate Christmas music... and this is one of my favorites from Geoff. My background is mainly in choir and this is a choral-type arrangement, but with some twists. The blending of the voices is just incredible.
Good that you really did try another one. He's also done the Sounds of Silence and if you are familiar with Nightmare Before Christmas, he does Jack's Lament. So wonderful. If you want to see VoicePlay, a couple you might enjoy is The Little Mermaid and also We Don't Talk About Bruno.

listening to this song doesnt mean i believe what's being said in it !! i enjoy the melody of the song ! what i believe is haram are the songs that contains bad or sexual things maybe !! but even in the time of the prophets they used to sing even the anasheed were with music !
@ReactionHolic Interesting, so you, as a muslim, can listen and vibe to music, proclaiming Jesus christ as savior and God I think you are a sunni Muslim, right? How come your religion says singing and musical instruments are haram? You can have your own beliefs, but as a muslim, how come you are not following your religion?
@@1Corinthians13.4_7 ok if u wanna get deep into this topic ! @ReactionHolic Why run and proclaim that humans can not pass judgment? Please stop giving me your opinion You can sing, dance, listen to whatever music you want, but this concerns your theology Your religion says something completely different from what you have told me So why are you having this cognitive dissonance?
You nailed it! 😊

@@ReactionHolicTruth! Geoff is one of a kind!
@@ReactionHolicif you want to get the full affect of Geoff's voice you must wear headphones. Or a great pair of earbuds.
He does a great cover of the Beatle's song Blackbird in which he sings 5 part harmony.
You definitely need to check out his song “Folsom Prison Blues”, it’s my favorite song period from anyone.
Has anyone ever seen this as a song one wants to dance to? Because I never have. But it doesn't surprise me that Geoff can do it.

Yes, Geoff is (Jeff). With Geoffs' range, he can sing all the parts and harmonize with himself. Anything by Geoff or his group VoicePlay.
Yes the name is Italian. And you said it right. And yes Geoff=Jeff.
thank you ❤️❤️
