Geoff does not have stand in's or markers to work with when it comes to interacting with his clones. He just knows what each clone does and knows how to "interact" with them, and where they are in relation to him. He's very convincing 😅
He has stated that this is his favorite carol. One of his first paid jobs was as a Victorian Christmas Caroler with Kathy. Somewhere out there there’s a picture of him dressed in a Edwardian top hat. They were such babies back then 😊. All of the patrons aren’t on the list, just the higher tier ones. Always listen to the music during the outro’s even if you don’t leave them in the reaction. Over the last several years they’ve been including the karaoke track in the outro. The entire track is one of the perks as a patron. As someone who has trouble processing with auditory cues it really helps me hear what’s going on in the background so that when I listen to the full production I get so much more out of it. Often his hand movements are related to the music but when he talks, he moves his hands too. Since I do the same I understand )I’ve always blamed it on the fact that my godfather was Italian😂.) I do love his sweater, but my son would probably knock you over for yours!🪐🛸🚀 Sometimes he will hold his hand as if copying it and then turn it over and that’s almost always one of those super super deep notes .
Confession time, I used to cringe when this Carole came on the radio. I held my breath when I saw that Geoff had done it, but it was Geoff so gave it a chance. I love it and it has a spot on my Christmas playlist. The clones' names are Jeff, Goff, Jeoph, and Daryl. Kathy did the costuming, Eli did the lighting, and of course, this was on one of Layne & Tonys' sets at Patty Cake Productions. All the rest Arranged, Produced, Filmed, Performed, and Edited by Geoff Castellucci.
He's his own musical conductor. All he needs is a baton. His hands tell you what his voice is getting ready to go in its placement. When he gets ready to go down, his hands goes up, then it or they go down and flip over to palms up to catch the depth of the base note.

This song sounds so good -- harmonies, chords, dragon purrs, whatever -- that I listen to it year 'round. Geoff and Kathy source a lot of wardrobe and prop pieces from Amazon. When this video came out, someone tracked down and shared the link to the sweater. He shared the names of the clones in Way Down with their name tags, all variations on how people have misspelled or mispronounced his name -- Jeff, Goff, and Jeoph. The fourth clone, Daryl, was created and named in Ghost Riders. Daryl is so special he has a nickname: Hairy Gibb. But Geoff doesn't have any stand-ins. Honed his acting skills from decades of performing at theme parks. And it's easy to "interact" with his clones since they're all the same height. Tricky part is remembering which way to turn his head for each clone.
I love everything that Geoff does, but this arrangement is so intricate, sheer genius! I always watch his stuff at least five times, once to get the full picture, and then to concentrate on one of him at a time. Usually when he is recording his videos it's just him and his wife Kathy. She is about a foot shorter than he is, so wouldn't make a great stand in. He named three of his clones (Jeff, Goff, and Geoff, I think) in Way Down, watch it to the end. In Ghostriders in the Sky he added a fourth clone (Daryl). Always enjoy your reaction!
In addition to Way Down, when the clones were first named - watch Folsom Prison and look at the numbers on the prison uniforms. Those numbers - transferred w/ a phone key pad to an alpha system - identify each of the clones by the names they were given in Way Down and Ghost Riders.
Great reaction, he always seems to amaze me with his subharmonic bass notes and glorious range. I remember first hearing him solo doing Ain't no sunshine and I was in awe of his ability to span a range of soo many notes.

Oh and when a fifth is needed, Daryl pops in (first appeared in Ghost Riders in the Sky). They were named with nametags in "Way on Down" and ran as a joke since in the credits. Also in Folsom Prison Blues, the inmates Geoff's all have number codes that are like T-9 typing on a number pad: 43633 (Geoff), 4633 (Goff), 5333 (Jeff), 53633 (Jeoff), & 32795 (Daryl--- when 2=abc, 3=def, 4= ghi, 5=jkl, 6=mno, 7=pqrs 8=tuv 9=wxyz in case you don't know what I'm referring to.) Fun stuff!
This is AMAZING 🙆🏻♀️❤️🔥🎶👏🏽 …I didn’t think I would like this but I loved 🥰 this. The vocal level of each clone is excellent. I love vocalists who can choose the key and sing it perfectly. This sounds absolutely Incredible. I love ❤️ all Songs uplifting CHRIST so this is heartfelt for me. I miss the old Christmas Hymnals. Mele Kalikimaka with the American Sirens is one of my favorites. As a child I grew up listening to Bing Crosby and the Andrews sisters on a scratchy record player with a well loved LP. (That’s all we had back then in the olden days, just after gramophones 😂😂) It’s just not the holiday season for me without hearing that song a few times a day. So I was delighted when he did it. And it’s a cute little story on top of it.
You should definitely check out One Ok Rock's "Make It Out Alive" Live version. The reason I say especially live is because Taka gives a perfect performance as always. He's in the top 5 of my favorite live performances. I'm very curious about your reaction.

The clones really do have names. It started as a joke because of the misspellings and mispronunciations of his name and then it became canon.
