It's nice to see that during this period when mutants are not publicly known yet and all this weird s*** has happened there are parents who are still just trying to help their kids through this period even if they have no freaking idea what's going on either.
@@lightheart5 I actually liked it since it harkens back to the original comics and it makes the shit they go through more powerful since they're at the forefront of it and not even adults yet. Plus we still have Storm and Wolverine in the mentor roles so no big change there.
@@Hyena-t4r Not really, in her earlier appearances she did genuinely care about Nightcrawler and couldn't bring herself to attack him. It wasn't until years later that they retconned her to say "Oh no I never cared about him. I'm MWAHAHAHAHA EVIL!"
I know this is pitched down to get by the copyrights...but honestly hearing Jean's voice (Venus Terzo) lowered like that makes me think it's how she'd have done the adult version of Jean.
