Dick Wolf's Law & Order is the second longest-running drama series in the history of television. The series premiered in 1990 and ran 20 seasons before returning in 2022. Law & Order's unique bifurcated format of police procedural and legal drama is known for its ripped-from-the-headline stories. The fact that they weren’t able to stop the bomb itself and evacuated everyone made it more realistic.
The fact he used a radio right next to the bomb actually makes it more unrealistic
@@MultiZombiekiller201 Modern radios don't trip insulated wires like they did in the 90s. The old radios were mega overpowered and the broadcast signal's energy was enough to send energy into the wires themselves. Newer radios are much higher frequency at lower energy.
I know I’m late but they didn’t evacuate everyone in law and order there were 3 who died from the bomb

What's sad is that he had to speak Spanish instead of the language of the host country. Has nothing to with immigrants and illegals either but it shows the system is flawed.

i dont care what language you or immigrants speak. but people often immigrate due to emergencies in their home countries and learning english before coming to America is not always an option. Let's just be human and help each other whenever and however we are able to. @@ADJackD

Not usually a regular viewer of the L&O but that damn crossover was amazing. It was like watching a feature film.
To me, Meloni and Donovan had great chemistry in this crossover.
Yess! Too bad Cosgrove left :( Also, i kinda wish 05-06 SVU and Criminal Intent would've crossed over bc I would've loved to have seen Meloni and Noth do a scene together as Stabler and Logan.

Such a great crossover :) I only watch SVU and OC. but all 3 shows did an amazing job!
I only started watching Law and Order: SVU cos after Prison Break finished I saw he was in an episode of SVU (S11E01) and I was watching for him, which btw his character was Amazing! but then found myself really falling in love with the characters and the stories were great, Went back and I have seen every season :) 10/10 show and best cop show ever

If you're the prime suspect in this clip, and you're wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap and a leather jacket to be " incognito", wouldn't you ditch said items during the mass evacuation, as to not be spotted so quickly again? I'm sure his face was posted everywhere, but, during those few moments of chaos, even a person of interest could slip by undetected.

The reboot for Law and Order is awful 😖!! At least with the crossover the show is much better due to the better acting and writing from SVU and Organized Crime.

I missed this on TV, was planning to watch later on Peacock or Hulu, but they locked it up, made it available by 'premium subscription' only, which they never have before. The Law and Orders just lost a loyal viewer over this streaming nonsense. I my opinion deliberately excluding half your audience is a crime.

Unpopular opinion : Cosgrove let Ava die by leaving her. HE COULDVE WAITED FOR THEM MEDICS TO COME W THE STRETCHER
To be fair, he didn’t know how closely she was being followed, much less that he was going to execute her. He wanted her to get help as fast as possible. But yes, he knew she was still in danger and should’ve protected her.
Does anybody else notice that there are no people in wheelchairs in this whole scene no people who are physically handicapped who would not be able to make it down the stairs... I think like in house it just wouldn't work if there were handicapped people physically handicapped people in wheelchairs in some of these shows it just wouldn't work for them unless the story is around and about people who are physically handicapped.
So he smashes the back window of the suspect vehicle then proceeds to reach in and open the door, any half way decent bomb maker would have fitted an anti-handling trigger to the door, a simple collapsing circuit would have done the job.

Small quibble: Detective Shaw was coming off as annoying as hell in the bomb scene. L&O is too down too earth for the incredulous cop plays bomb defuser nonsense. He spent too much time arguing he could defuse the bomb with his superiors. And of course, the explosion effects look cartoonish as they always do with this show. It would have been nice if they spent a few extra thousands on that.
