"Oh yea? Hamburgers? What's this then, a happy meal prize?"
One of the best parts of this show is the cops' classic one liners.
I want that prize.

I know they gave they a working detonator which is what his accomplice used to blow up the synagogue!
Ya know, if they were smart about it, there are chemicals that can be added to putty to make it flammable. Thus the demonstration would have worked the same, and literally no risk of actual detonation.

I like how chill the boss was, took the money envelope no fuss, made sure man got his cut and politely told him to enjoy it and was gonna let him go about his day.
9:39 -- They shouldn't have let the black cop join in the bust. They are likely to blame the informant who introduced them to him, putting his life in danger. If they had just arrested them all, and separated the informant, the three would-be terrorists wouldn't have had reason to suspect the informant. Or at least much less reason.
Very sloppy writing
it was probably so that they could have the 'gotcha' moment
that's how it's done in real life. The cop's identity can be leaked and face reprisal.
You talk about the FBI way
This is NYPD way 😅
100% right but in this case I think the terrorists would definitely be more than suspicious about getting busted immediately after the guy who just started working with them introduced them to some guy he knew that was selling explosives. He’d be figured out either way.

This kid is a great actor low key- he played Brooklyn boy so well!!
Although Michael K Williams was a nice person, he was born to play a villain in every way.
that's the thing about most actors and voice actors. they often times only get to play as the bad guy even though there actually very nice. i'm not saying that's a bad thing but I've noticed that pattern awhile back.
You rarely see a guy with a scar like that cast as a good guy.
The amount of C4 experts in this comment section is both comical and concerning at the same time.
not like its complicated. C4 is the most common explosive used by the US military, meaning anyone who served knows how it works and anyone who hangs out with a veteran knows how it works.
Are we gonna talk about the snipers at 3:58 are sitting in BROAD DAYLIGHT?! How does nobody notice this?
no one looks up. people look on their cell phones and fall into holes or get bit by huge snakes.
It's New York. They don't look up unless it starts raining. This is the city where one person could be screaming to call 911 and the other 40 people who watched it happen will just stand there.

The definition of 'that escalated quickly'
That scene at the beginning, we encountered a similar scheme.
I'm in my 30's and live with my husband in his 50's and he's a massive man, not fat just tall, braud and fit.
My parents that live about 5 mins away.
My parents got a phone call of a girl crying (my parents are retired military (USN/USMC Corpsmen. my father been a sheriff's deputy and a Game Warden they know when something not right) my Mom said "I think u have the wrong number sweetie, what's your name? Are you safe?" Then the line goes dead. Immediately the house phone rings and my Dad answered. Some man on the line behind saying he was Law Enforcement and they had me at the hospital because i had been assaulted and my husband tried to fight the people off but was overpowered and killed. they didn't believe the guy (I'm a SAR & disaster medic, i can fight well and i keep a concealed pistol as well as my husband, it would be hard to adult me) he signals to my Mom to call me. I answer said i was fine and asked what was going on.
I heard my Mom tell Dad that my husband and i was fine. He asked the guy who he worked for and the guy said "The county sheriff police department" i hear my Dad yell "LISTEN HERE YOU SON OF A B!". It freaked me out that someone tried to use me to scam my loving parents.
A few weeks later, my cousin, someone i was raised with like a sister passed away, she had a teenage boy and a much younger daughter that call me their Aunt. Our Grandmother was very distraught. She gets a call and answers it and there's a young man's voice "Grandma, I'm scared!" The line goes dead then she received another call, a man pretending to be Law enforcement and saying they had my Nephew, he was arrested and going to jail unless she paid a bond.
She was so distraught and called my parents, who called me. I have access to the children and on the emergency contacts if their father can't get to them.
I went to the school and had them call him to the front office so i could be sure he was okay.
He was fine. I took a picture of him holding a paper with the date and time, let his father know what happened and went to my grandmother to show her he was okay.
It enrages me!
RIP Michael K. Williams.
Michael K. Williams doing his thang. R.I.P my brother.
Just finished watching, such a good episode ending made me cry.
I didn't know that you needed so many police to arrest one man.
The more the merrier. I the guye runs off there will be more eyes to look for him and more hands to apprehend him safely. Also context, if you sent an army of cops for an eviction notice or failure to show up for a civil court case you may have a point. However this is a supposed kidnapping which means it’s a high risk call. The suspects may have small arms fire or blunt/sharp/improvised weapons.
When dealing with violent individuals you want these situations to end as safely and quickly as possible.
Are you deaf or something? They literally explain that to the kid when he asks the same thing after they cuff him! >:o

Prior to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan they usually did not deploy overseas, but in recent years National Guard units have deployed overseas from time to time. Not as often as active duty units, but they do still.
Nearly half of the deployed troops to Iraq and Afghanistan were either Reserve or National Guard troops.
They need months of train up time to be fit for deployment.
