Moving to Spain soon. I love your honest perspective in this video. It sounds like the US and UK have a lot of similarities, so I’m interested to see how I’ll change from my experience in Spain.

Same here, small places are not good for young people. I wish more people understand the power of traveling and trying life in different places. Your videos are amazing! Keep great work 🥳

I agree. Time goes so fast, and trips and travel stick in the memory so much more than the mundane.

To be honest, we Egyptian intellectuals have always wanted to reside in the United Kingdom since it is a well-organized country that values research and freedom. But now, after hearing from many Brits immigrating to Spain and sharing the same experience of healing depression caused by the weather in your home country, I am seriously considering learning Spanish in addition to English and moving to Spain because, after all, I would rather have a good relieving climate and slow pace full of social interactions in Spain than be depressed and lonely in the UK. Thank you, mate, for sharing your experience and enlightening our minds! 😊

Happy to help! The UK certainly isn't all bad. I much prefer it for business, the political system, and people's general attitudes and belief systems. I love a lot about the culture of the U.K....BUT, my health and relationships take a bit of a hit. Make sure to visit both. Thanks for stopping by Tarek!

Hey mate, the whole landscape is so confusing. I've spoken to an advisor about Madrid and coming from the UK (no degree), doing the 120hr TEFL Course / and they have said forget it really atm due to Brexit. No chance of working full time, the student visa is an option but a nightmare. Any general thoughts?

Hi mate, thanks for the comment. It is true that Brexit has made getting a VISA much more difficult. Your advisor failed to mentioned the 'Spanish Language Assistant' programs, these run from October-June and you get to work in a Spanish school for about 14 hours a week, the pay is between 800-1000, but it's generally a very EASY way to get into Spain. From there, lots of people use that time to try and secure a VISA sponsorship from a language academy. Can you message me on instagram? 'lewisgreenaway_' , much easier to communicate on there and I have a free resource that you may find very helpful!
