I bought mine in May, and use it for living out of my Prius. The Prius charges it, and it charges and runs everything else (phone, DVD player, hotplate). I love it. Very reliable, and it's been in - 5 F in Maine. I had the dolly removed to have more space in the car. Without the dolly, it weighs about 60 something pounds. It has side handles, not difficult to carry. I purchased tie-downs thinking it would move when I drive, but have never needed to use them. Never moves at all, and neither does my Dometic refrigerator. I would purchase this generator again, although the one I have will last me a long time. Goal Zero also warranties the product. I needed another car charger, and being as I am within the warranty period, they shipped me another free. Great company, great product!!
Mike Q thanks man. We appreciate you commenting. Please remember to subscribe if you could. My boys have a contest to get to 500 subs (small potatoes in RUclips land, but important to them)
Hey folks - thanks for watching!! We would be grateful if you could SUBSCRIBE to get our subscriber count over 500!! Our boys are watching the sub count everyday.... ;-)
Thanks Ryder. We have used it on one three day camping trip and it ran a Dometic 75 all weekend long with resource to spare. On that trip, we were able to serve ice cream sandwiches and even run my son’s nebulizer. Funny, We also are using it as a backup to PGE with all of their power cut-offs. We have 3 Goal Zero 200 watt briefcase solar panels which charge it nicely in those circumstances. It can run a house fridge, but we are using the Dometic when we are on backup. Honestly, an integrated Tesla power wall is a better home backup solution - but you can’t take it camping!! Bottom line: We are really using it a lot more than we initially expected.
Noah and Eli's Corner I got this from a company in California that’s here to help PG&E electric. I’m not sure how to operate it yet, for when the PSPS (Power Shutoff) happens, but this video will definitely help! Let’s hope that I can bring it into the house as it weighs 75 lbs!!

Mike Q awesome. Ours has been great. Used also for the PGE rolling blackout. We got solar panels for it too.
@@noahandeliscorner Definitely worth the money! Thanks for the video and the reply!

More impressive than the device itself is your ability as a parent. Good job sir
FAMM 1776 best comment ever? Perhaps. Thank you. :)
7 Mins into watching this and I must say you are a great parent!
You are too kind. We love these boys... :). There is no manual on parenting in this 21st century, so we learn as we go. :)
You sound like a wonderful Father
Thank you for the kind message. My boys are growing up fast...

great video. After almost 2 months what are your thoughts on it. Did you ever try to connect your fridge to it?

Thanks for the info. I am checking into the tesla power wall and the LG one but they are pretty pricey.
Cool. 2 grands a bit steep tho
Do u like it still?
Does it really have like 3000 plus amh
Cathy Baby we do. It is slightly over 3000...
Isn’t lithium Ion batteries the ones that tend to catch on fire?
Former Aide everything needs to be carefully managed.
Can i use it while charging?
I believe you can, but we haven’t tried it yet
You most definitely can. I've plugged in a rapid charger for the EGO lawn mower batteries and mowed a very large yard entirely on solar power.
being that large they should of added more USB
200WATTS SOLAR 2 PANELS GOALZERO TEST IT OUT
We might do that this week... holed up at home! Thanks for commenting.
Great!!!!
3200 is a ridiculous price for a battery bank though 😔

Michael Hardy that’s good stuff. One day we may expand the system.
