As promised, here's a proper review of Haboela's matrices and some comparison tests with standard matrices. I tried doing the tests on my f2p alt account but with my team there being Saki, Alyss and Icarus I couldn't get proper data (and I only have few matrices there) so sorry! Also, please be REMINDED that these comparison tests are solely focused on the matrices being equipped on your main dps. Making this video was quite tiring so I hope this really helps!!
Thanks to many ToF content creators like yourself who warned everyone early to save Old Vera coins (this was before they changed the name) for the new update, I was able to get Haboela early, even before summoning Lan :) Haboela is so much worth it.
Really took me by surprise as well. But thinking about it, having damage boost for when enemies are on 50%+ hp (x2 shiro) and then more damage boost for crits when they're low (x2 crow) kinda sealed the deal. That or it might have been because of fenrir. Some things might change in different comps so this is not something that's set in stone. :>

The answer is yes on Fenrir No one everyone else Fenrir gets 100% crit rate on clone which helps I suppose But everyone else Benefits more from Samir 2pc
be careful with cactus tests here since cactus is always on 100% health so your shiro matrices will be up all the time. I personally use 2x samir 2x crow.
How about 4x 0* Haboela VS 4x 2* SSR Matrix that does nothing but only as Stats Boost (in terms of Off-Field support) ? In scenario where I have 2* King x2 It feels like the stats stick will give more value than what 4p 0* Haboela can give
Hi, very sorry for the late reply! A notification didn't pop out anymore and I found your comment after checking just now. Anyways, I did a test regarding that one. It's on the very first haboela video that was mentioned and even with huge stats loss (I lost about 800 volt attack) by swapping out higher starred matrices with 4pc haboela, I still dealt more damage.
my setup right now is 4x Habo + 4x Scylla + 2 Samir3* /2 Crow3*. your stats and CS may tank a bit (about 9-10%) but it really does output 30% more damage than getting 3* buffers on your off field weapons
Interesting testing method, but what I'm more curious about is what happens when you put Haboela's 4pc matrices onto Lin? Because as it stands, there's no good f2p 4pc matrices that Lin can use because all of them don't work off-field. I put 4pc A3 Shiro matrices on Lin to trigger the buff for now, but anything beyond 30s and the buff will never be triggered again (I think FCH is the only place where you can make full use of Shiro 4pc). I can sorta feel like Haboela/Scylla's 4pc matrices is the way to go for Off-field units for f2ps, but it's probably gonna take a while before we a3 all of them (given we don't get screwed over too hard by luck). I just wish somewhere down the line they add alternative ways to obtain them
I'd say 1 minute tops and shiros would still be better. On stretched out fights having off field damage boost would serve us better. I think I can include the "which one would be better for lin 4x Haboela or Scylla" on my test for the Scylla matrices. Same, wish that they add other sources for the matrices, too. they added another way to get them but it's in CN rn and it's pretty long (like i think one every months or something like that) but yeah it's better than being able to only drop on wb which basicly only happens once evbery 6 months xd
4-piece claudia might be good right now. but imo, f2p should at least get one limited matrix set which 2-set and 4-set effects are off-hand and are related to their main element. if you've been saving red vouchers since 1.5, you will probably have enough to pull for one set. in my case it's Tian Lang's matrix. it doesn't need his weapon to activate so it will be relevant for a very long time, and he will also be coming to standard in the next batch so i'll be able to max it soon.
Scylla's depends on your main dps. For weapons like fenrir that focuses on crits and shatter might I add, its going to be a perfect fit. I'm still gathering miras for Scylla gachapon and when I get all pieces I'll be making the same tests. Look forward to it!

Haboela and Scylla are not meant to replace limited matrices. Lin's would still be better. What you can do is stack haboela x4 with Lin x4 to have even more damage.

Yes, that's absolutely the case. What we're trying to test here is if 4pc haboela at 0 stars beats other standard matrices when equipped to your main weapon. After looking at the results it's found that it will be much better to equip haboela on your sub-dps/off field weapon

Assuming that you don't have other limited matrices for now you can go x4 haboela on Lan x4 shiro on Lin (if you have) x2 samir x2 crow on Alyss But when you get Scylla's You can go x4 Scylla on Lan x4 Haboela on Lin x2 shiro x2 crow on Alyss

This depends on the advancements of your matrices but 2 crow, 2 shiro is generally better.

conducted the same test, the difference turned out to be minimal or equal, so the haboel matrices need at least c1 x 4

PSA if using lin field 2 piece samir can be run in offhand slot and shiro 2 piece has permanent uptime on fenrir clone.

x4 Haboela on Lin
x2 shiro x2 crow on Alyss
