  • Despite rarely being mentioned in the media or in history books, Sephardic (and Mizrahi) Jews have played a monumental role in history.
The founders of Royal Dutch Shell and Danone, the owner of American Pharoah, the first "Miss India", and one of the greatest philanthropists of all time have Sephardic and Mizrahi heritage.

Benjamin Disraeli, a Sephardic Jew, was the most powerful person of the world while he was the PM of the U.K and lead the British Empire in the 19th Century...We also had Ytzchak Ben Yehuda Abravanel, he was a very important Sephardic Jew which is also lacking in this video, although that's a nice presentation.

Benjamin Disraeli 's father converted the family to Christianity. He was no longer a Jew.

He is definitely another great Sephardic Jew (one side of his family was Ashkenazi as well). We have featured Mordechai Noah on our website in the past: www.jewoftheweek.net/2012/04/11/jew-of-the-week-mordechai-emmanuel-noah/

Don't know if you still check the messages? You should reissue this video, as "No, the Sephardi Jews are not Negroes" the Black Hebrew Israelites insist that the Sephardi Jews were Negroes because One is named as Yahya Negro ben Rabbi. So all the Jews were really Black.

Many people of the world often criticize the Jews and Israel without reasons, without knowing the history and facts, but God knows Jews are better than any other nations but have become the victims of the persecutions throughout the ages.
There are many differences between Allah and God of Christianity, but even Allah decreed that
he gave the Holy Land to the Children of Israel, which most of Muslims don't know
Surah 5:21 [5:21] And remember when Moses said to his people, ‘O my people, call to mind Allah’s favour upon you when He appointed Prophets among you and made you kings, and gave you what He gave not to any other among the peoples.
[5:22] ‘O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has ordained for you and do not turn back, for then you will turn losers.’
[26:60] Thus indeed it was; and We gave them as heritage to the children of Israel -
If Muslims read Quran, and know what Allah commanded about the Land of Israel, they would realize that they are fighting against their own god.
    Muslims don't read Quran
Muslims don't know what Allah taught
Muslims don't practice what Allah commanded
but Muslims get angry when they notice Islam is attacked.

what is the relation btw you (someone from European origins) and Israel (Jacoub), Qur'an is speaking about a specific group of people at a specific point of time, actually to challenge jews in Makka and madina. at the time of Qur'an being revailed to the prophet (Muhammed) the holy land has been ruled by Romans who muslims defeated later.
historical you are just a follower of judaism nothing to do with ur origin.
I am muslim I have no origin or right to claim KSA as my national country, cause religion is not a passport or contraction of possession

Wow, the lies. They did not go "back" to Amsterdam, they had never been there. And New York/Amsterdam was founded by Sefardic Jews from PORTUGAL, MADEIRA AND BRAZIL as a harbor for the purpose of the Jewish Transatlantic Slave Trade. The harbor quickly grew to become a major world economic center DUE TO the immense success of the Jewish Transatlantic Slave Trade.

Yes, the The family moved from Portugal to Amsterdam when he was 7 Y/O.
They fled Portugal during the Portuguese Inquisition.
Then as a Rabbi, he went back to Amsterdam escaping the Portuguese after re-occuping the colony.
Some members of his community were some of the founders of New Amsterdam.
      It's Sephardic.
While some Jews were involved, they were a very small minority. The major players were Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch, and the Danish.

Jennifer K Disgusting. You think only Jews were involved in the slave trade? Reading your comment is the only way to interpret it. The British certainly were. As well as the African kings of the kingdoms they and others travelled to. The kings didn't have a problem selling their own.
