You da man RC. Always had the most respect for who you were off the bike just as much as on it. I really looked up to you growing up as a kid. You always showed dignity and class and I think you are an excellent role model of how a man should act.

His last MX season....he raced in only six races... After James Stewart was hurt or suspended(??) Ricky rode off. he could have said "#1 rival is down" I have 11 straight on a silver palter. Nope... he just said good by with a victory and never looked back... Ricky is the model of Class in a pro athlete
If it wasn’t for a guy named Stewart 🎉 he would have kept going 4 more years 😢
R was winning in 07 he over analyzed the situation -from my point of view he should have just thought of it as running laps JS was the only one on the gate who could run-the reason to keep racing was hey RC you had them in a stranglehold - you could have raced a few more years at the top

Ricky never seems like he is joyful about his life. Maybe I'm reading him wrong, but I don't see much light-heartedness or peace in his countenance. I hope he finds it, from above.

I would have not been able to walk away from the season half way through, especially when he was totally destroying the competition.
He knew at 24 years old that he would be retiring in 2 or 3 years... Doesn't that seem strange to anyone else? Sounds to me like he knew that's how long his body could handle Aldon's PEDs cycles...
