Dreamcatcher discography is really 🔥, they are from smaller agency from the other 4 but their hardwork making them deserved to stand together and get compared to group from big agency. They are underrated and underappreciated just because they are from small agency even though their music + song + mv are better than the other.

She was so close to being my bias but I gave up of looking for a bias in this legendary group. In my humble opinion I believe Mamamoo is #1 in stage presence. They know how to captivate and keep an audiences attention no matter what. They can even really get more senior artists to get up, dance and sing. They might not have the most technical choreography but they know how to use the stage, their vocals, their facial expressions, their movements, their gaze, etc to turn any performance into a mini Mamamoo concert. Looking forward to more reactions. It's good reading others opinions and point of views.

they do, they master 'stage technique' the most in here. but in term of group chemistry some member kinda get in the way with some member, blackpink tho they're not as good as mamamoo in term of stage technique. all the member enchance and compliment each other stage presence

When you go to a dreamcatcher concert you'll know they have a lot of stage presence, the way the crowd chants, their playfulness on stages and the way they interact with fans is perfect, they hit different. They definitely excel in all aspects!!!

I think mamamoo definitely has the better vocal line overall esp since they ALL can harmonize and belt at the same time. but overally this ranking was pretty solid and I feel like it was fair. Oh, and most "moomoos" on twitter call ourselves moos or cows because we DO feel kind of silly calling ourselves moomoos lmao. Still love the name though :)

I strongly disagree. Jennie and Lisa are trained rappers. Technically. The only downside JenLisa have is they only know a single style of rapping. Dami on other hand, had done many kinds of rap styles and she keeps on evolving.

Ok, you said that Mamamoo is not your taste. So this ranking is only based on your personal opinion about your taste, not a brutally ranking from worst to best.
I mean... That's pretty much it. It's a ranking so of course that it's going to be biased, if I were to do this list than I'd shamelessly put Mamamoo on top for almost everything. Honestly if you were to try to objectively rank these group's concepts, discography than we'd need extensive research or something. Stuff like vocals, rap, and dance can be discussed more objectively, but as soon as you talk about group name, fandom name, discography then it's super subjective.

Ehhmm. If you listen to Dreamcatcher b-sides, you can see how variety works and how they slay all. For visual JiU is top-tier with Yooh and Siyeon and for stage presence Siyeon is smth else. But overall all is really good, imo. And for final ranking Blackpink which introduce me to K-pop but Dreamcatcher makes me stay. So top is Dreamcatcher for me.
Just wanted to start by saying that all groups are great in their own ways and no hate on any of them. I hope people can put their biases/opinions from fan war aside and listen to some Mamamoo performances. Talent and good music shouldn't be ignored or even hated just because of toxic fans on social media (not even considering the fact that most of these groups are friends since rookie years or at least friendly acquaintances). This goes to all groups/artists. Music is Music, a form of expression and art, not competition. (btw Mamamoo is coming back on the 11th!!) Mamamoo in second place for vocal tells me that you don't watch their live performances. We all know Seulgi is good and Wendy is a vocal queen, but as a group no one can beat Mamamoo in terms of vocals. I guess stage presence can be subjective, but come on! No one does it like Mamamoo with just a mic (they can sing ballads without any dance moves and make audiences feel the emotions/sing along/have goosebumps). A big part of hip hop is stage presence so hip-hop groups/artists should have good stage presence (imagine a rapper not having stage presence), but it's a lot harder for groups/artists specialized in other genre to do the same or better (and thus super impressive when they do). Mamamoo to me is such a good name since they are a vocal group and their intro is basically Acapella (can you imagine blackblack blackblack pink or dreamdream dreamdream catcher lolll). AND tell me moo-bong is not iconic?! Back in the days moomoos bring actual radishes as light stick (really does show how far Mamamoo has come, literally from the bottom to the top) and it's a memory that we cherish. You mentioned that you don't like Mamamoo's music, but Mamamoo has at least one song for almost every music style, so everyone can find something that they like (literally just tell me what you can't find and I'll find it for you ahh).

Disagree on Mamamoo being second for vocals, I think they should be first. They are a literal powerhouse. Also disagree on Dreamcatcher, their discography gets better each year. Also, the line distribution is SO fair and every member gets to shine in the most recent comebacks.
Rap mamamoo will always be better because moonbyul is a real rapper. Blackpink don't write their own raps which will automatically disqualify them since rap literally means rhythm and POETRY, with Blackpink the poetry is nowhere to be seen.

Not to mention Jennie doesn't even have better technique, you can't credit her flow or lyrics to her either, all she does is talk with an attitude to the rhythm she was given. Lisa is also better at rapping than Jennie if we want to go there, even though I don't consider either of them rappers. She at least has some variety and is able to do more complicated flows, I think that's thanks to her dancing which has given her a better sense of rhythm. Jennie's rap is usually very flat, her strength in her rap is attitude and projection, her voice sounds powerful but that's kinda it.
Blackpink introduced me to kpop and I've been a proud MooMoo for three years now. But this April, I discovered Dreamcatcher and haven't been the same since lol this video is pretty accurate in my opinion! Love this.

Their style and tone when singing is the most common thing I've heard. Yes, technically they are very very good but I can't find any uniquely interesting in their voices. Maybe that's the reason I can't get into Mamamoo although I know that they are very good. While Wendy, I don't even have to say it, she has a wide variety of vocal tones and technique. Im giving you no offense I completely respect your opinion and their pretty reasonable but here is my final ranking: 5.Blackpink(Not my taste of music and they take way to long for a comeback but the members are good) 4.Twice(Not big fan of cute concept but Jihyo has one of the best vocals in my opinion) 3.Mamamoo(I like them some of their songs a really good and some of them a re not but I say they are a 50/50) 2.Red velvet(one of my fav groups their wendy and seulgi's vocals are amazing) 1.Dreamcatcher(Im a full time insomnia Im obsessed with them they all have breathtaking songs and the members have great talent so here is the winner in my opinion)
All the groups in the list are very good :D But since I'm an insomnia, I would always be biased towards DC. I just wish all the groups success at what they do as we know they are all very talented and hard working.
it's all about vocals to me, and Mamamoo takes it. Give them a piano and a microphone and they'll send you to heaven.. Lol even their rapper is better than most main vocalists lol. RV is very close second.
honestly mamamoo is the best in vocals and stage presence, that's just facts in rap arguably the best but I get that not everyone might think that moonbyul even tho she's that good and also the lost credited female idol is the only one in the group (I mean others can rap but do it rarely and they are more vocal focused) when others have multiple rappers so it depends on how u evaluate it and if u consider the number of rappers too then I understand also for me their debut song is one of the best debuts ever but again it's subjective, same with discography, imo it's very good

On top of that their company gives them so much professional & personal freedom unlike many other companies. In terms vocal only Mamamoo maybe able to match Dreamcatcher on some ballad song and I love Mamamoo.

In my humble opinion I believe Mamamoo is #1 in stage presence. They know how to captivate and keep an audiences attention no matter what. They can even really get more senior artists to get up, dance and sing. They might not have the most technical choreography but they know how to use the stage, their vocals, their facial expressions, their movements, their gaze, etc to turn any performance into a mini Mamamoo concert.

Honestly if you were to try to objectively rank these group's concepts, discography than we'd need extensive research or something. And Solar is the real all rounder of the group. Wheein just pissed me off changing to a different label, kind of a betrayal of the group tbh.

Ehhmm. If you listen to Dreamcatcher b-sides, you can see how variety works and how they slay all.
For visual JiU is top-tier with Yooh and Siyeon and for stage presence Siyeon is smth else. But overall all is really good, imo.
And for final ranking Blackpink which introduce me to K-pop but Dreamcatcher makes me stay. So top is Dreamcatcher for me.

Just wanted to start by saying that all groups are great in their own ways and no hate on any of them. I hope people can put their biases/opinions from fan war aside and listen to some Mamamoo performances. Talent and good music shouldn't be ignored or even hated just because of toxic fans on social media (not even considering the fact that most of these groups are friends since rookie years or at least friendly acquaintances). This goes to all groups/artists. Music is Music, a form of expression and art, not competition. (btw Mamamoo is coming back on the 11th!!)
Mamamoo in second place for vocal tells me that you don't watch their live performances. We all know Seulgi is good and Wendy is a vocal queen, but as a group no one can beat Mamamoo in terms of vocals.
I guess stage presence can be subjective, but come on! No one does it like Mamamoo with just a mic (they can sing ballads without any dance moves and make audiences feel the emotions/sing along/have goosebumps). A big part of hip hop is stage presence so hip-hop groups/artists should have good stage presence (imagine a rapper not having stage presence), but it's a lot harder for groups/artists specialized in other genre to do the same or better (and thus super impressive when they do).
Mamamoo to me is such a good name since they are a vocal group and their intro is basically Acapella (can you imagine blackblack blackblack pink or dreamdream dreamdream catcher lolll). AND tell me moo-bong is not iconic?! Back in the days moomoos bring actual radishes as light stick (really does show how far Mamamoo has come, literally from the bottom to the top) and it's a memory that we cherish.

Lisa is also better at rapping than Jennie if we want to go there, even though I don't consider either of them rappers.
She at least has some variety and is able to do more complicated flows, I think that's thanks to her dancing which has given her a better sense of rhythm.
Jennie's rap is usually very flat, her strength in her rap is attitude and projection, her voice sounds powerful but that's kinda it.

Im a multistan since SNSD era and I listen to mostly to girlgroup. But since I discover Dreamcatcher early last year, bruh, 90% of their discography is bops. And I like and listen to all 5 groups in this video and I can agree on most part except the vocals which belongs to Mamamoo imo, period.
Im gonna have to disagree with you. Wendy alone is better than everyone else in the vocal ranking. And all of the red velvet members can support and have nice tones and techniques.

Their style and tone when singing is the most common thing I've heard. Yes, technically they are very very good but I can't find any uniquely interesting in their voices. Maybe that's the reason I can't get into Mamamoo although I know that they are very good. While Wendy, I don't even have to say it, she has a wide variety of vocal tones and technique. That's why every song you hear from when her always felt different.

Stage presence- I do not agree with that Red Velvet has the worst presence, they're fantastic and serve every concept perfectly. Just because they're not making weird faces and winking all the time doesn't make them bad. I would give bottom spot to twice cause only 3 of them actually try lol, then blackpink, and then RV, and MM and DC are tied.
Fandom - all of them are good, personally I think Luvvie is really cute, but Insomnia is definitely the best
Songs - RV for sure, one of the best discographies in kpop. DC also has amazing songs though

Without contest, Dreamcatcher won all the categories. Dreamcatcher = 7 vocalists, 7 rappers, 7 dancers, 7 visual, 7 crackheads, 7 extras, 7 biases, 7 bias wreckers, 7 happiest Kpop idols = perfection. On top of that their company gives them so much professional & personal freedom unlike many other companies. In terms vocal only Mamamoo maybe able to match Dreamcatcher on some ballad song and I love Mamamoo.

Selling of the artifact or claiming that it is "originally" done by a Native American when it is not is illegal and offensive. moonbyul even tho she's that good and also the lost credited female idol is the only one in the group (I mean others can rap but do it rarely and they are more vocal focused) when others have multiple rappers so it depends on how u evaluate it and if u consider the number of rappers too then I understand
also for me their debut song is one of the best debuts ever but again it's subjective, same with discography, imo it's very good
