Man I love the NCT song discourse so much. It’s always ppl on extreme polar opposite sides, either die hard fans of the music or ppl who think it sounds like actual dog sh*t 💀 its extra funny to me bcz side that doesn’t like it just doesn’t understand how they could possibly be so popular and be winning so many awards 😭 and someone who is a (somewhat proud, depending on the times) nctzen, who both has music music they like and don’t like from nct, it’s just so entertaining. It’s just personal at the end of the day. And this isn’t even a critique on NCT, there’s music I like and don’t like from ALL the artists I listen to, western or K-pop, it’s just impossible to be a fan of everything. K-pop fans be arguing over music taste like personal preferences aren’t a thing, even within the same artist. But the NCT discourse just takes it to another, almost comical level, and I just laugh every time I see ppl loosing their shit over NCT music, weather it’s someone jamming to the most insane sounding NCT song, or someone having an aneurysm over it. And I also love how the fandom has kinda embraced it and jokes abt how we have shittiest music taste, who knows maybe it’s true 🤷‍♂️ Side note: this is not intended as hate or criticism to the creator of the video. Everyone has completely different music taste, and I was genuinely laughing during the NCT part.
